《The Chronicle of a Witch》Chapter 7 I'm being kidnapped

It was another morning. While having breakfast, I had a nice conversation with Brian and Briana. Well, nice conversation was what I wanted to say, but it was actually I was complaining subtly.
“Lately, I feel that my role is wrong in this story.” I started my complaining with this sentence. Brian and Briana looked at me, confused.
“I am supposed to be the Evil Goddess that plan to destroy the world of Acrodia, but here I am, cooking breakfast for two housemates that couldn’t cook at all, oh, and I also make bentou for those two. I cleaned the house, I’m the one who get money for the three of us, I’m the one who pay the rent for this house, I’m the one who plan our business, I’m the one who plan how to expand our business, oh, not to mention the fans I have. Don’t you think as an Evil Goddess I should scheme how to destroy this world? Don’t you think that people should be afraid of me rather than idolizing me? Don’t you think that…”
“What do you mean? You just want to slack off, right? Why don’t you say what you want directly?” Briana interrupted my monologue. Again. I glared at her.
“What I want to say is I want to have a vacation! I want to have a weekend! I want to have a me-time!” I finally said what I really wanted to say. Yes, I just want to have a free day, a time when I could be free from all potion making!
“What do you mean me-time? Whenever we go, aren’t you always alone? Doesn’t that count as your me-time?” The silly Goddess said nonchalantly.
“…I… I…” I couldn’t retort that! It was true that I always had me-time whenever they went to hunt… but all my me-time was used to make potion!
“As for vacation, what are you going to do in your free time? I’m sure you won’t even step outside, so, do you need vacation? Weekend? You already make more potions than what we can sell, why don’t you stop making potion for a day or two in a week? Oh, right, for your evil scheme or something like that, I’m sure you are too lazy to think about it, right? Or even if you aren’t lazy to think about it, I’m sure you are too lazy to make your plan works, right?”
“…I…I…” Alright, I couldn’t say anything to that either! I needed a vacation because I wanted to sleep all-day long. As for weekend or free time… it was for the sake of lazing around all-day long too! Oh, also, I didn’t think of stopping creating potions at all. Actually, I even thought that my potion-making time was not enough, as no matter how much time I spent to make potions, the ingredients I had never been reduced at all! I felt like I had endless amount of ingredients and it forced me to make potions continuously without stopping every day.
“I have a nice idea!” The Goddess’ eyes brightened up. I had a bad feeling about it. “How about today you go out with us?”

“No, thank you. I’m quite busy today.” I refused immediately. Going out with them? They were going to area with level 5 or above monsters. Even though I was level 5 too, my average stats were lower than even the lowest level Player. Monsters had higher stats than average Players at same level, so, it was unimaginable just how much the differences between our stats, right?
How could I accept such a request?
“Don’t worry, the monsters are weak! Besides, Donald will definitely protect us!” Briana got up from her seat and suddenly pulled me.
“No! No! I refuse! Didn’t you hear what I say? I’m busy! Ah!”
I was kidnapped! I couldn’t resist this violent woman at all! I believed her strength value was more than twenty points! How could there be such difference between us? Did the Heaven blind?
While I was asking the Heaven, this silly Goddess had already brought me outside without hesitation. She wouldn’t suddenly throw me upward, wouldn’t she? No, even if she threw me upward, it should be alright. Gravity would always pull me back to ground. Yep, it should be alright… unless she casted Anti-gravity Spell!
“…you really should go out more often, you know?” The silly Goddess commented when she noticed that my back was already drenched in cold sweat.
“Hmph! I can live just fine even if I don’t step outside at all! Why would I take such an unnecessary risk? Only idiots take such an unnecessary risk without fear!” I retorted.
“What do you mean unnecessary risk? It’s a necessary risk, alright? You won’t be able to get stronger if you don’t go out at all… no, you can just drink your potion, huh? Anyway, you need to go out more often! I’m making sure you will go out, at least once in a day!”
What a dictator! Not to mention she was clearly a cruel dictator!
“Once in a year is my limit! I’ll die if I go out every single day! Don’t you know that every single time you go out, it increases the risk of killing yourself by one percent? That means, if I go out every day, I will definitely die in less than three months! I still want to live for a hundred years!”
“…where do you get such statistics? Also, I’m sure you are exaggerating it!” The silly Goddess retorted.
“Are you an idiot? Alright, let’s see. Ninety-nine from a hundred people die when they are outside their house. One person dies because of old age or because of illnesses, and in an extremely rare case, they die because of accident. So, accident in house could happen with a chance less than 0.1%! So, it’s definitely safer to stay in my own home which I know every inch of it rather than going outside that I know nothing about! Don’t you know that you have to fight a war in area that you are familiar with? Don’t tell me that I’m wrong, I already did a lot of research about it.”

Yes, most people died in wars or killed by monsters, which usually happened while they were outside of their house. Some royalties died because they were assassinated in their room, but it was because they were careless. If I were a royalty, I wouldn’t even accept food from my most trusted maid. I would cook the food myself, so it would reduce the chance that they could poison me. As for the ingredients, I could prepare a room for testing all my ingredients, so dying because of poison could be avoided.
As for dying because of assassination, I would definitely set up traps around my room. At least, I wouldn’t sleep on my bed. Perhaps I would set a dummy on my bed and put explosives inside the dummy, so when the assassin stabbed it, it would explode and kill the assassin instead.
Cough, naturally I didn’t set up traps this time or else that silly Goddess would be dead already. She woke me up rudely yesterday, and fortunately for her, I didn’t set any traps or she would be in pieces when she tried to wake me up.
“I have been going out million times already and I’m still alive. If your statistics are true, I should die ten thousand times already, shouldn’t I?” She said after a moment of silence.
“No, because no one would try killing an idiot.” I said bluntly.
“…only an idiot would call other idiot.” She replied with a sigh.
…I didn’t want to debate with her in this idiot topic. More importantly, I stopped struggling because of two reasons. First, I knew my strength wouldn’t be able to beat this violent Goddess. Second, I didn’t have any strength at all. I felt weak, and a little dizzy. The sun was too bright… even though it was still early in the morning.
Hm? The handshake events? I did that in the porch with a shade on top of it, so it was alright. At least, even if the gravity reversed its direction, there was still a ceiling nearby. Also, the sun was not as bright as right now because of the shade.
“What are you two doing?” This familiar voice… it was Donald!
Right now, Briana brought me on her shoulder, as if I was a sack of rice… cough, not that. Anyway, our position was quite awkward.
“…I’m being kidnapped.” I finally said after an awkward silence.
Donald looked at me pitifully, before he turned his eyes at the silly Goddess.
“No, I’m taking her with us to gather the ingredients. She never steps outside in a week after all.” Briana tried to convince Donald.
“As an NPC, shouldn’t I stay in one place the entire time so the Players could find me easily?” I muttered more to myself. After all, in games, NPCs would always stay in their place, right? Or at least, they always had a certain pattern to their movement.
“…is this some kind of event? Is this a fourth-dimension breaking thing?” Donald muttered softly after hearing me muttering to myself. Ah, right, it was fourth-dimension wall breaking thing. Yep, I was glad that he came to that conclusion himself.
“Anyway, it doesn’t change the fact that you bring me out forcefully, right? If it isn’t the definition of kidnapping, what it is then?” I still didn’t want to go out. I wanted to stay inside my own castle! Yes, my home was my castle, even though it was made out of wood and nails!
“You are really hopeless, aren’t you? Fine, I understand. Oh, right, do you want me to toss you upward? You might fall to the sky, you know?”
That was a blatant threat! This silly Goddess was threatening me!
I could only laugh awkwardly and tried to ease the atmosphere a little. “Ahaha, what do you mean? Don’t you know that the scenery up here is beautiful? Look, you can even see that mountain over there! Yep, the scenery is really beautiful up there that I don’t wanna go down at all…”
“Really? Why don’t we switch our position?” The silly Goddess said casually.
“…” Was she an idiot? Or was she a total idiot? Casting aside my fear of open sky, I didn’t even have the strength to lift her up. She was heavy! Like, totally heavy!
“Hup!”
“GYaaaahhhh!!! Idiot!! What are you doing!?” I screamed as the silly Goddess threw me upward abruptly!
Falling to the sky was just an unfounded fear? On Earth, perhaps it was true. However, in this world full of Magical beings and unscientific things, reversing gravity was such an easy thing to do. Not to mention that if people were strong enough and they had enough Mana, anybody could fly freely in the sky.
Yep, fly freely in the sky… for those who could control themselves. As for people who had extraordinary power yet didn’t have the control of that said power, it was impossible for them to fly freely in the sky. In fact, the first time I tried to fly… it was truly an unforgettable moment that I couldn’t forget at all.
At speed that I couldn’t react to, the ground was zooming out… or rather, I was getting farther and farther away from the ground. It felt like I was really falling to the sky!
And in my instance of panic, I… fell to the sky even faster!
Alright, let’s forget that scary experience, as it was definitely not a good memory. Ever since that, I never go out of my Dungeon and I never even tried jumping casually without making sure that my feet were on the ground. Now, however, none of my body touched the ground and the silly Goddess was even tossing me upward with her silly smile… was the last thing I saw before I fainted. And the last thing flashed in my mind was I would definitely make her regret this…
