“yes your majesty”
Rajiv and Killian stood up and gave a slight bow to the king then they turned around and started walking out of the throne room. After the doors to the throne room closed Killian started speaking “so the guy we captured has escaped and the king thinks he is in the underworld?”
“yes, get ready Killian tomorrow we are going so prepare well and get enough sleep we won’t be getting much in the underworld.”
“yea yea you know I’m not a little baby well anyway see you tomorrow Rajiv.”
Killian started running down the hall to his room. On the other hand, Rajiv was just walking calmly. Rajiv took out a key out of his breast pocket and unlocked a door that led to his room. When he opened the doors, he saw his room it was boring a wooden table with a drawer a bed and a chair nothing less. Rajiv closed the doors behind him and sat on the chair that was near his table. He took out a match box out of his pocket and lid up the candle that was sitting on his table. Then Rajiv opened his desk drawer. In his desk drawer was a journal, an ink container, and a fountain pen. Rajiv took out his journal opened it inked up his pen and started writing what happened today: today the king requested me and Killian personally for a secret mission we are supposed to capture Atli Strickland who escaped. The king thinks an archdevil took interest in him and ‘rescued’ him, so he wants us to go to the underworld to find Atli and if possible, bring him back alive. Rajiv closed the journal and put it back into his desk drawer then he sighed and leaned on his chair “It will be really tough to find him in the underworld I’m not really looking forward to this mission. And we can’t even bring more people because it’s a secret mission it will be a really big pain in the ass.” Rajiv then blown out the candle on his table and went to bed.
Rajiv woke up it was about five in the morning the sun wasn’t even out he made his bed put on some clothes and went to the cafeteria to get breakfast. When he got there, he looked across the room to see if Killian is there of course he wasn’t there he’s never on time. Rajiv let out a sigh and put on a bitter smile. He didn’t know a lot of people at the castle even though he was there for about six years. He got to the window where they give out the food. Behind the window was a sweet old lady who was there longer than Rajiv. Like always the lady smiled and handed him two plates of food. On the plate were two pieces of white bread with budder on top nothing more. Rajiv scoped out the room for an open seat. After about a minute of looking he found one and started walking towards it. He put down the two plates and sat on the old creaky wooden chair. Then he waited about ten minutes went past and then he finally showed up it was Killian his hair was messy and looked like he was half asleep. He scanned out the room and saw Rajiv and started walking towards him. Rajiv just looked at him and then back at the bread and started eating again. Killian got to Rajiv’s table and sat down next to him without saying a word and started eating the bread from the second plate Rajiv brought. They were both eating not saying a word and then Rajiv got up walked back to the window gave the wooden plate back to the old lady then he started walking out of the cafeteria. Killian quickly ate the last piece of his bread and rushed after him. When Killian catched up to Rajiv he was already in his room. Without knocking he opened Rajiv’s door and stormed into his room. When he opened the door, he saw Rajiv sitting at his desk “take a seat there” Rajiv pointed to his bed. Killian walked to his bed and sat down then Rajiv started “so here is my plan we got permission by the king to take the ancient dragon armor to search the underworld. From what I know about archdevils they usually live on the lowest level of the underworld so we should probably go from bottom to top sounds good?”

“yea sure why not I was thinking the same thing, so this is perfect.”
“ok then in thirty minutes meet me at the secret armory got it.”
“yea got it, see you.”
Killian then quickly sprung up from Rajiv’s bed and walked out of his room. Rajiv also walked out the room and went for the showers to clean up before the mission. After he took a shower Rajiv put on a gambeson and started walking to the armory. Rajiv was walking down the hallway then suddenly he stopped and turned left the only thing in front of him was a lit torch on the wall. But this was a fake the fire wasn’t real it was just a magic spell. Rajiv reached out his hand and pulled on the base. Then suddenly the wall sprung open. Rajiv let go of the torch and went through the door that just revealed itself after he was inside the door shaped wall closed behind him, he walked through the hall it was dim, but he could still see. when he was at the end of the hidden passage there was a wall it looked like it was made out of marble when he touched the wall text appeared on it said ‘jus dicere verba’. Rajiv started thinking he couldn’t quite remember what he needed. After about a minute of thinking he got it the secret words were “nempe gloriam nostram” after saying those words out loud the marble wall opened. When he entered, he saw beauty itself there were legendary weapons lining the walls: swords, maces, daggers, spears, crossbows, bows, lances, and many more every weapon was unique some had enchantments on it some were cursed some were blessed by the gods some were forged in the deepest parts of the underworld and so much more. But Rajiv wasn’t here for the weapons he was here for the ancient dragon armor. The dragon armor was one of the best and rarest armors ever known to man it was made out of dragon scales and why it’s called ancient is because it was made out of the pure blood dragons scales which went instinct about a thousand years ago. Rajiv walked down the hall that was lined up with weapons until he got to it four armor stands with ancient dragon armors on it. All of them shined some of them had scratches on them but that didn’t impact the beauty at all while Rajiv was blinded by the beauty he heard a familiar voice behind him “hey Rajiv you done having an orgasm over some armor” it was Killian “what took you so long I thought I was going to fall asleep” Rajiv responded in a joking manner and then he continued “okay let’s get suited up and go the sooner we go the less time he will have to prepare”

After they were both suited up, they took one weapon off the walls. Rajiv choose the cursed black sword of the night the sword had a curse on it which made anyone blind for five minutes when he hit them with it. The sword also had unmatched beauty the blade was a majestic black and the hilt was golden with hints of black on it. Killian chose the burning sunlight spear which was blessed by the god of light Ollous. Its ability was that when he slashed someone with it, they would automatically go up in flames and burn to death. They both picked one of the strongest weapons that the Gesal Empire could offer of course they had stronger weapons the divine weapons, but no humans or other creatures could use them, and nobody knew why the Gesal Empire had them or even how they got them. After they were both done preparing, they nodded at each other then they both walked so that they were right next to each other. Rajiv on the left reached out his right arm and Killian on the right reached out his left arm and they touched then both of them stretched out their other arm and both of them started casting the spell for the underworld gate “porta” a blood red hollow circle appeared before them they continued with sweat pouring down their faces “in inferis” a dark red color started expanding inside the circle “patentibus” it was complete the gate opened but they waited for something suddenly a very creepy voice echoed in their heads “Quo ire vis” both of them without thinking shouted “ninth circle of the underworld treachery” suddenly they saw the gate changing to an icy blue and they stepped into the gate at the same time. After they crossed their vision was blurry at first but then their vision unblurred and saw a big icy lake Cocytus.

Two teenage locals — Colin and Aggie — quickly pull Jeremy under their wing and decide to give him a summer he’ll never forget. Everything is mostly fine until one day, in the depths of the woods, they stumble across a two hundred year-old monk and a living, breathing — or, rather, snoring — dragon who need their help.
