Sitting on my throne I massaged my temple with my fingers as I thought about the things that unfolded over the years since Helio came into this world.
Right now I have mixed emotions as I am very happy and proud of the things he has done and also the person he has become.
It's been 10 years since the day he was born, and ever since that day he left everyone speechless over and over again.
At the age of two, he was already able to walk and run about, once he turned 3 he could speak and understand everything around him, he read countless books one after another.
At the age of four he started to train in the ways of the sword after two months passed he already mastered the sword without the help of any sword techniques, 'he became one with the sword'.
Three months after that he started to create his own sword technique which left everyone who got a taste of it speechless. Every instructor we got for him had an inferior complex towards him and quit.
After he completely mastered that strange sword technique of his. He got a spear and started to use it, this time, it took him 5 months to become 'one with the spear'.
I don't know what is scarier that he mastered to different weapons within a year or that he was just 4?
A few months after he mastered the spear when he became 5 we checked his cultivation path to see whether he could become a mage or not.
No one in the castle doubted his strength even if he didn't become a mage he would without a doubt stand at the very top as a warrior, but...
He did have a talent as a mage.
His potential as a mage was the absolute best potential anyone could have as if that was not enough to leave us speechless his attributes...
Sigh.
His attributes were Fire, Light, and Earth, never in the history of this world has there ever been someone who had the potential to train in more than one attribute!
He did not get one attribute, not two BUT THREE!
This is was all very good news but also bad, no matter how much of a monstrous genius he is if someone killed him while young his future would be no more.

So we did everything to not let the news leak but alas, people found out and although many people in the kingdom were very happy, the many clans in the kingdom felt fear and sent assassins after him.
Who could have known that there would be someone protecting him from the shadows, every assassin who came after him, was sent running with their tail between their legs.
I am very happy that there is someone who is protecting him but I have no clue who this 'expert' is and can't really determine his real purpose, I never met him so all I can do is wait until he reveals himself.
I looked for him but it was no use.
After many assassins failed, Helio started to train, 2 months after he started to train he already became the youngest Mage in the entire continent, this was unheard of, mostly kids will enter the Mage stage when they are 10 and in between so it is very shocking for someone to enter at the age of 5.
[Author : Stages are as follow > The Mage has 5 levels > The Spirit Mage also has 5 levels > Scholar Mage with also 5 levels > Immortal Mage with 5 levels > After that we got the Saint mage stage with also 5 levels]
But his ability to leave us speechless did not stop there, after another year when he became 6 years old, he was already at the peak of the Mage stage leaving him only one more step before entering the Spirit Mage stage.
It took him another year just to break through the bottleneck and becoming a Spirit Mage at the age of 7.
At this point everyone had already acknowledged him as the number one genius amongst the younger generation in the entire continent, many people traveled from long distances just to confirm if it was true.
I was very happy with his improvement and his character, he was loved by everyone who met him, he was nice and kind to even the servants.
A few months after he became a Spirit Mage news came to us that there are few other children who all entered the Mage stage before turning 10 as well, although they weren't a monster like Helio they were all monsters own their own.
This caused me to worry as I felt that Helio was too innocent and naive, I felt that he would let someone take advantage of his kindness and innocence.

So I arranged for him to travel own his own, to experience what this world truly is like so he could temper himself and also to truly know what this world is like.
I let An Yun accompany him, to make sure nothing happens to him on this trip but now I don't know if what I did was right, it has already been 2 years since he left the capital to experience the world.
I looked over to where my wife was sitting "Do you think I did the right thing with little Helio?" I asked her and she smiled.
"I am sure everything is fine, don't forget that you also left the capital to gain experience and that was when you were much weaker than he was." She said and I frowned "I was 14 years at that time, he was only 7 years old." I said and she put her hand on mine "I am sure everything is fine, An Yun has already sent us a letter telling us that he is fine." She said and I let out a sigh.

Quest!
Create the strongest Sect in the world.
Time limit: 4 Years.
Reward: Unkown.
Accept/Decline
I looked at the strange quest I got as I took a sip of the tea in my hands.
"Hmmm...What a wired quest." I mumbled before it hit me.
"A sect!" I almost screamed out in excitement.
'I have been looking for a place to create my toys since I can't feel the Dao of the Fireplace, I am not able to create toys out of thin air, which means I need workers.'
'A sect is a perfect place to gather people to create the toys for me.' I thought as I put down the tea and looked at An Yun who was next to me.
"An Yun." I said as I looked at the bulky man next to me.
"Yes, young master?" He replied.
"I am going to create a sect," I said and he raised an eyebrow.
"A sect sir?" He asked and I nodded.
"Not any sect, the most special and powerful sect in the world," I said as I clicked Accept on the quest.
Quest Accepted!
0/10 Disciple found. [Can only Accept someone at the Mage/Warrior stage younger than 10 years of age = Potential 8+]
0/5 Elders found. [Can only Accept someone at the Scholar Mage/Emperor Warrior Stage along with Potential 7+]
0/1 Sect technique created.
0/1 Base found.
Time remaining: 4 years.
As I read through the quest requirements I frowned, 'Shit! I didn't think I would have to create a real sect, I decided to fast.' I thought.
'Forget it, if I have to make my sect a true powerhouse, I might as well do it, the more powerful they are the better.' I thought as I stood up.
An Yun also stood up and we both left the room we were in leaving behind a silver coin.
[Author: Currency > 100 copper = 1 silver > 100 silver = 1 gold > 100 gold = 1 Spirit card]
Right now we were both in an inn somewhere in a city called Vanta getting something to eat.
We both left the inn after paying for the food, I looked at the street that buzzing with noise and Scratched my head "Now how do I find people for my sect?" I mumbled as I looked around.
Target for the Disciple rank found!
Potential = 10 > Rank Mage = level 1 > Age = 8 > Gender = Male
A screen popped up and startled me for a second then I looked the screen and a huge grin formed on my face as I looked at where the window was pointing towards.
I saw a carriage filled with kids and people detained by huge chains on their necks and arms being taken somewhere, inside the carriage, a white-haired young boy with brown eyes and pale skin, he was no older than I was. His looks were stunning and his soul aura magnificent.
"Inspect!" I said, a screen popped up in front of me.
Name - James Walker
Age - 8
Class > Mage - Level 1

Soul Strength - 35
Intelligence - 97
Agility - 18
Stamina - 10

Looking through the list made me swallow my own saliva "Don't worry my child. Are you unhappy? Do you want revenge?...I shall give you all that you desire, as long as you help me with my work." I mumbled as I followed the carriage. A light shone through my eyes.

Gaming on a MUD is difficult.
This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years. Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time. I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is my first time so not very experienced. It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.
