《Kyrio's Monster House (Dropped)》Chapter - 5

Kyrios arrived home, followed by the two gargoyles. 'Wow they really did cleaned it up...' He was surprised, guessing that the slimes were realy good at cleaning, the old
wooden floors, walls and ceelings looked like new. 'System is it possible to improve the themes just by cleaning them?'
---
Yes, slimes are efficient in removing everything.
---
The trio walke... flew towards the reception room where sebastian and the other minions awaited for them, instantly bowing once they saw their master's figure.
"Welcome home Milord. I hope your trip went well?" (Sebastian)
"It did and I brought plenty of furniture and supplies. But first I want to do some changes, so I ask all of your to move near the elevator." 'Got no idea what happens
if I move a room where they're in...'
---
They die.
---
'Good to know...'
Everyone in the lair including Kyrios stood close in the elevator, with all the minions behind him, he used the base command code and clicked the hammer icon. 'System
how do I put the items I sto-obtained in the base command inventory?'
---
Do you wish to transfer all items?
---
'Yeah!'
---
Transfering Items ...0%...15%...50%...100%
All Items transfered.
---
'Cool let's get to building!'
First Kyrios expanded the eastern 9 tile room to 12 tiles, adding 3 tiles on the north.
Secondly he added another squared room of 25 tiles to the north of his master bedroom.
Thirdly he changed his master bedroom to the new room.
Fourtly he named the rooms, expanded the 9 tile room on the west to 25 tile squared room and finaly decided to add an extra squared room to the west of 25 tiles next
to the old master bedroom.
Then he simply added all the items.'For now this shall do the trick and I'll save the rest of the spaces for an emergency. Oh! Cant forget to add the themes...' He

With the building rushed, he decided to use the minion creation command, thinking of getting more minions, getting a monster chef, four zombies and two acolytes.
2 Star Monster Chef lvl8 - price 110
This human sized octupus monster is a pro in cooking and loves trowing kitcheen knives at those who threaten his kitcheen. Requires water, fish and a bed to sleep.
2 Star Zombie lvl8 - price 120
A Human infected with the zombie virus, doesnt feel pain, can re-attach lost members and can infect humans with biting or scratching. Can die from a heavy blow on it's
head. Requires meat.
2 Star Acolyte lvl9- price 130
A Human who turned into the dark arts. Acolytes are the aprentices of necromancy and darkness magic. Requires a bed and cooked food.
'Only 30 credits left, so I think the white marble theme only cost 15 so I'll get it and put on the kitcheen!'
Kyrios returned his attention to the minions behind him wich were joined by the newcomers.
The octupus chef walked on two legs while having eight tentacle arms, pink skin and a head of an octupus. On it's chin, he had two tentacles wich made it look like a
french mustache. Dressed in all white and wearing a white bandana on it's head with a red ball symbol, he reminded Kyrios of those japanese street chefs.
As for the zombies, they were colored green, due to the infection, but had no bite marks and they were dressed in ragged tantered clothes. Since there was the random
symbol on their gender, two of them were male and the other two female.
The same case applied for the acolytes, one female and one male, both dressed like wizards in black, with capes and hoods.
All the minions bowed again to him. "Milord, how can we serve you?" (Sebastian)

"New rooms have been added to our home, I put most furniture in the proper rooms, but things like food, books and other small items are in the storeroom, I want you to
move them into their proper place. Pick someone to stay at the Reception and have at least two monsters at the training room at all times in case of emergencies."
Kyrios explained to the group, before pointing to the monster chef. "Your name from now on shall be Octo, you will be in charge of the kitcheen and food supplies,
Sebastian will be your superior, seek him out if you need anything." He told the beast before pointing to Sebastian, making the octupus and the skeleton nod to each
other. "As for the rest, I ask you to assist Sebastian in maintaining the lair, you can also use the training room for training, but try not to injure yourselves until
we get a medic or healer. You may use the living room to rest, feel free to watch TV, listen to the radio or read a book." The acolytes seemed to jump a bit when they
heared they could read books. 'Too bad it's just stories and encyclopédias, couldnt find any magic book in that bookstore... Maybe I need to find a local wizard or
perhaps there's a hidden magical library somewhere?' "There are also plenty of different clothes available, you are free to use them." Kyrios said looking at the
zombies. "Also, those who require sleep, may find fresh beds in the barracks."
He gazed at his minions and put his hand on his chin. "That's all for now, I'll take another trip and return before sunrise."
'Wait, why arent they moving?'
"Milord?" (Sebastian)
"Yes?" (Kyrios)
"May I humbly ask of you to take an escort? The acolytes, zombies and gargoyles could go with you incase of emergency!" (Sebastian)
'Oh! Yeah, I forgot since I am their priority they want to protect me, but leaving with almost all the minions? Uh, now I wonder how it would look once I get more
minions, just imagine leaving the apartment building with a hundred monster parade...' Kyrios chuckled and mumbled "In the future..." before turning to Sebastian.
"I'll leave with monkey and wolf, taking a large group will give me too much attention. Besides, it's best to have the lair populate with enough monsters for a proper
defend."
"Very well Milord." The skeleton nodded as most minions passed by Kyrio's sides, some giggling and others growling as they headed to check the new rooms.
Kyrios got into the elevator with the gargoyles behind him. 'System, can you show me some quests?'

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

In a remote town, Henry, an energetic bookworm is thrust into the world as chaos engulfs his once seemingly peaceful world. His lord has a task for him, one in which will change his life forever. Wars brew, betrayal is at each corner, shadows step into the light, a supernatural force awaits the time to strike. Awakening an ancient civilization from their past may be their only hope now. A spiraling doom awaits the world of Isulia. **************** I put the gore and traumatizing warnings not because my book is overly gory. However, there are a few moments that may be traumatizing to some people. As for the gore, it shows up fairly often but not extensively. I've always loved violence in movies and books, (The Boys, Banshee, Kingdom of heaven, Vikings, etc.) I am descriptive of the scenes with gore. So be warned :) I have multiple MC and as a nooby writer, I've had a harder time writing from a female POV. Just a heads up. Don't kill me if I make the woman in my book seem weird. 8 173Murder Hobo Society
These are the grotesque tales of the flamboyant Murder Hobo. Kendrik is the newest member of the Murder Hobo Society. First goal? Recruit a team of semi-competent adventurers. Second goal? Kill stuff. Third? Let's not think this through too much. ------------------------- This is an Interactive Discovery Writing (IDW) work of fiction. That means that audience input helps drive the direction of the story. For this work new chapters are usually posted on Wednesdays and audience polls posted on Thursdays. Thanks for your input and interest!
8 166The Labyrinth of Dreams
Having caught one attempted murderer and proven to the world he isn’t one himself, things are looking up for Kayden. Sure, recent revelations about his spell mean he needs to rethink his entire worldview and his future, but he’s been doing that every couple of months since getting his scholarship, so he’s had practice. From here on, it should be smooth sailing; nothing to worry about but trying to keep up in his magic lessons and not letting his smart mouth start any blood feuds with rich kids at parties. But something’s going on. The Fiore is convinced that Kayden’s a key player in a political game he wants nothing to do with, Max is openly fighting with his idol over things he won’t fully explain, and the words of prophecies past keep haunting Kayden’s dreams. Something big is coming, and to figure it out, Kayden, Max and Kylie will have to venture places that make his Initiation look like child’s play. And make a decision that will irrevocably alter all their lives.
8 169After the Long Burn
After the longest exodus in human history, a terrible accident threatens to turn the salvation of humanity into its most desperate struggle for survival. From the ashes of calamity rises a new human story. A frustrated scientist dedicates her life to recreating the Earth in alien soil, while another is gunned down for his sin and sets off a chain of events culminating in a desperate escape across the void for an opportunity at redemption. Around a distant moon a deep space miner stumbles onto a secret, the key to which lies buried inside his own tortured mind. After the Long Burn is an anthology of short science fiction stories set in the distant Ionad System. Author's Note: I thought I might try something a little different with this story. Rather than one story, it is six stories of varying length, each taking a slightly different perspective to tell a larger story. Some are more actioney, others more cerebral but I hope there will be something for everyone. Stories over 7000 words, with the exception of the titular After the Long Burn, will be published in two parts. I anticipate an upload schedule of one part every other day.
8 199Children of The Sky: Heartcore
In the realm of Yggdrasil, there exist nine worlds. Each and every world has unique stories to tell, but there was one that stood out--The Floating World of Speir. In the land of Speir, the impossible does not exist; this world has given birth to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of tales, fables, and legends. The fight for the fate of the world is a common occurrence and the neverending stories of the people which reside in it were all, by itself, always unique and interesting. Now, after many aeons have passed, the world has changed. Not only the power of magic could shape reality, technology also has the ability to change the world with just a thought. And from the world where futuristic technology meets magic, I have chosen to tell you a story, a story picked from countless others. This is the story of a boy who recently entered the prestigious, and the most powerful academy in all of the nine worlds--Yggdrasil Academy, to fufill his dream. What is his dream, you might ask. Well, allow me to show you the life of Reynard Foxtale, one of The Children of The Sky. *Warning. For those who don't like lengthy explanations or long talks, this might not suit your taste. However, the setting of my story does not adhere to most of the main stream fantasy/sci-fi settings. So, you might find my ideas unique or a little too weird and complicated or both. Whatever opinions you might have, I truly thank all of you who are willing to spend your time to read my story. *The cover (which is a picture I do not own) is not in any way an accurate depiction of the world in the story. P/S I will post this story on FictionPress as well. P/P/S I'm relatively new to this website, so if I made any obvious (to regulars) mistakes, please tell me. P/P/P/S Will update every two weeks. *Important: In Hiatus for now. **13/7/2017 Update. Check chapter nine (and maybe ten) post-chapter note.
