After learning the Zither Palm technic, I found it easier to flip through the pages of the others books. Some of them were interesting cut none of them were remotely useful due to my situation.

The skill Zither hand according to the game interface had a total of fives levels. I could increase the level in two ways. Firstly, through extended practice through the years, I could gain experience and insight in the use of the skill.

I could also level up the skill by investing skill points. I just needed 1 point for the first and second stage each. 2 to break through the third and fourth stage each. And five to break through the fifth stage.

It was just like during the beta test.

After two hours of reading a window popped up in my view. I remained calm, as I was starting to get used to it.

As soon as I had chosen the option " yes", I felt a slight but tolerable headache. But I had been through a lot more lately so I was not that phased.

Suddenly, many and subjects that were briefly mentioned in the book appeared in my head. They started to make sense as I gained a deeper understanding of every word and illustration. I now knew about the proprieties of many materials: stone, wood, dirt, metal... I could also know ways to create them, to transform and mold them into many different forms.

I also felt a surge of energy through my body but the feeling quickly disappeared.

I also knew that I will be able to gain points in my pool of experience, every time I crafted something, repaired, or did anything else related to my profession.

Novice Craftsman has 10 levels. I had to invest the gained experience into it to level up the profession. 2000 were needed to reach level2.

Just like in the beta for every level in my profession I will gain one skill point and one attribute point. I will also gain 10 points in each category when I managed to break through the max level.

In craftmanship, there were many kinds of specialization, for the moment I could not do any of the heavy tasks or the tasks that required high mobility.

In the beta, a player could only learn one profession at a time and had to delete it in other to learn another one. I wondered if it was still the case.

My eyes were suddenly brought to the second book about medicine brewing. Could I learn it?

I got more excited as I saw the progress bar appearing.

For a man of the 21st century, this approach was very unfamiliar. In this world, they considered that each ingredient, herb, the substance had something called medicinal strength.

The role of the medicine brewer was to find elements with compatible medicinal strength. After that, he will have to follow specific processes to combine their medicinal strength and obtain medicine that could cure people.

If the potion brewer failed to accomplish these two tasks, he/she will be creating poison instead.

I could already feel that as my constitution increased my body will feel better.

I wondered if I should just find a way to learn all the professions in this world and grind them so much that my attributes and skill will all reach a divine level.

I needed to practice my two actual skills to gain eco but to do so I had to obtain the necessary tools and ingredients to practice.

I felt that I could not rely on anyone but the young miss to buy them for me. The original Sun Chen knew many people even in the Wen family who would gloat at his misfortune and will certainly try to make things difficult for him.

On the other hand, I could not send the young miss on an errand to buy my things, there was even the risk that she will suspect something as it was too out of character.
