《Faceless Phantom》Chapter 44 - Black Haired Elf

The trees were tall and they were all identical. There seemed to be no distinction between them all. No one wouldn't be able to differentiate them at all. Moreover, the quietness was unnatural.
No living creatures were spotted. Even the ground had no sign of someone ever passed. No tracks, no pathways, the forest was untouched.
Woods of Nanduri
The very place was known as a calm and enchanting forest which strayed everyone but elves. Regardless, a robed man walked among the trees as if he knew the way.
Without hesitation as to where he headed to, Nel'Thas was strolling deep into the wilderness. Soon, he saw a wall of thorny vines blocking a gap between cliffs which seemed to be a gorge.
He then chanted some words.
"Nanduri furenya il maya. Uli, tinuran elfanar, myeona galnarie fuli vi yolwa."
(Nanduri Forest of Deception. I, an elven bloodline, want your permission to pass.)
The vines slowly moved and made a path for him. As he went in, the thorny thickets closed the gap again.
Along the gorge, there were vines and flowers on the cliffs. Down to his left, a stream of small river was flowing calmly. Nel'Thas was also passing through several strange shaped tunnels which he could possibly enjoy. However, he came with a mission. He didn't have time to expect a fun exploration.
A few hours later, he finally saw a wall ahead. And it was guarded by two elves who stationed on a watchtower behind it.
The Wall of Teldari
A border to the hidden realm of Elf.
The two guards noticed Nel'Thas from afar. With their elven eyes, they immediately knew who he was.
One of the guard jumped down and made a gesture to stop him, so Nel'Thas didn't step any further and looked at him without expression.
"Yarandur, Tel'Aluun. Ful ka neya mili. Ful ka ranya bali."
(Get away, cursed one. You are not welcomed here. You shall never go back.)
"Uli mili dunkar bian drelya narkath. Tiryi nivim nan fuli sa galna uli yolwa."
(I am here forced by urgent matter. It will be wise for you two to let me pass.)
"Drelya narkath fuli inka fornas belna. Belna durniv vi Heallance."
(Your urgent matter is not our business. We are neutral to Heallance.)
"Helyamyan, drelya sul nuri yogi tunya ra gilun mili. Beleth gulman rubyolwa lorna neya."
(Unfortunately, this matter will soon come upon this land. Beleth has unleashed his army.)
"Uli myane. Run uli balya muun myu pa ful pyeongeya. Duma Beleth ni lorna il orc, henya sulka yolwa Teldari."
(I apologize. But I do not know what you are speaking of. Be it Beleth or an army of orcs, they will not pass Teldari.)
It seemed the elf was young since he didn't know who Beleth was. However, they were also old enough to know that Nel'Thas was prohibited to enter the land. It would be hard to convince them, but he didn't give up.
"Jobyan. Henya ka lorna borni. Henya in Berulvhaar Aphi."
(Please. They are not a mere army. They are the Dark Army.)
"Yulmanak myu pa fuli pyeongeya? Berulvhaar Aphi gulman ronduur tamaya falna."
(What kind of nonsense are you spouting about? Dark Army has already fallen a long time ago.)
"Uli talan fuli pa pyana. Mera jobyan, galna uli welya vas Aldar Elfanari."
(I just told you the truth. So please, let me meet the High Elves.)
"Belna heson nan gyunmal fuli. Run belna riva ka galna fuli yolwa."

(We are grateful for your information. But we still cannot let you pass.)
"Mera... Uli ka lafam."
(Then... I have no choice.)
Nel'Thas chanted a spell and both of his palms aimed toward the guards.
As they were realized, it was already too late. Their voice were shut halfway as they fell onto the ground, paralyzed.
Then, Nel'Thas leapt above the wall and entered Elven Territory.
The woods were taller, and the ground was rich of plants and flowers. There were also a lot of animals living side by side. The elves truly took care of their nature. It was greener than the outside world.
Ignoring the beautiful scenery around him, Nel'Thas kept leaping and blinking through the woods, passing several trees with each leap and blink.
Eventually, a vast lake came to a view. And beside the reservoir, a glimmering civilization made the scenery even prettier.
But of course, the guards didn't let him pass into the settlement as well. However, Nel'Thas forced his way through by using his blink. The guards pursued him until he was surrounded.
He debated with them until an Elf with a wooden staff intervened.
"Jena ka desar vi aru waja elfanar eluntia!"
(You do not deserve to use the face of a respectable Elf!)
The Elf had long brown hair with silver elven tiara adorned his head. Long pointy ears, thick straight eyebrows, emerald almond eyes, and pointy nose. He was wearing light brown elven clothes with unique black patterns.
Hearing the Elf's loud voice within the commotion, everyone turned their head and immediately bowed.
"Elnari!"
(Elder!)
Nel'Thas, however, looked at him sharply. Then he put his hand on his chest and responded with raised tone. "Elfanar eluntia in aya uli."
(The respectable Elf was my father.)
"Erta pya daram jenari, Eleya!" The elder ignored his words and ordered him instead.
(Show your true self, Eleya!)
Thus, Nel'Thas then slowly lowered his hood. His face and figure immediately changed into a woman.
A pale half-elf with short pointy ears. She had a dainty nose and bow shaped thin lips. Black cat-like monolid upturned eyes, with black eyebrows and long eyelashes. Below her right eye, a tiny mole enriched her beautiful face.
Also, she had long black hair which became the main attraction of the sole problem. It was considered a curse in elven cross breed.
She was the real Nel'Thas without disguise. She was Eleya Nel'Thas, The Cursed Black Haired Elf.
"Burelvhaar Aphi in yogidotya!"
(The Dark Army is coming!)
The Elder sighed, he closed his eyes and lightly nodded. "Nega aranar."
(I know.)
"...!" Nel'Thas eyes widened. "Mera we...?"
(Then why...?)
"Arunna Eva." He opened his eyes to look at her again. "Gima derega nolyan sedya leka Man'zul syiki riva odarak sedyamal."
(By Eva's grace. How can we help them if Human right now is still fighting between themselves.)
Then a memory flashed within Eleya's mind. It was the conversation between the citizens of Ironwood. Therefore, she immediately realized what the Elder meant.
"Alkronia pul Ghaldaran..."
(Alkronia and Ghaldaran...)
"Sa karajan molya sul hevas myu pa sedya nadur. Kada sedya sa pasul qwena vorta, ilraba Burelvhaar Aphi nasul khasnak yan sori sedya."
(Those two foolish kingdoms will reap what they sow. Neither of them will win the war, because the Dark Army is going to steal it from them.)
"Riva amar nevari."
(There is still hope.)
"Dal nevari gulman kuum, rabali Man'zul erta gonzur sedya." The elder tone raised. "Kamara! Ka yogi mil qan!"

(All hope is gone, since Humans show their greed. Leave! Do not ever come back!)
As he was frustrated, he turned around and walked away. He didn't want anymore debate with her.
However, Eleya felt otherwise. Seeing his manner, she gritted her teeth as she was angered by his decision.
"You're a coward! You are running away and hiding again! You let my father die!" She shouted, and then she pointed her index finger around. "All of you just stayed silent and exiled me to bury your guilt. You're all the ones who are cursed. Not me..."
The Elder stopped and ground his teeth. His hand made a fist. Slowly, he turned around to face her.
"It had to be done since we had no other choice!" He shouted back. "Your mother was a vile creature!"
"...!"
The sky immediately got darker and Eleya's eyes turned red. The silent elves who were spectating began to made some noises.
"You are all the vile creatures..." She responded in a calm voice yet there was storm within her eyes. Then, she recited a strange language. "Anunfarak rondarkta iluziardun galadur xeltas! Irvaanir mordakk avarus..."
The Elder eyes widened and looked really terrified. "You! Do not spell that language in here! Stop it right now!"
Eleya didn't care and kept reciting unknown words. "Kar'Mozal gorunda ankha zuk. Nildran fazarma..."
As Eleya's aura getting thicker, the elder gritted his teeth. He saw some elves trembled in fear, and some looked at him as they were waiting for his command to stop her by force. He closed his eyes and let out a troubled sigh. Then, he opened them again as he made a decision.
"Put her down!"
As he shouted his command. Several elves pointed their arrow toward Eleya. In seconds, dozens of arrows were shot toward her.
Swoosh swoosh swooosh
However, Eleya stayed still. As the arrows reached a meter away from her, they suddenly got deflected by invisible shield.
Tack. Tack. Tack. Tack.
It didn't stop there, multiple magic followed. Fire balls, thunder bolts, stone bullets, and arcane missiles.
"Zelduri aluntrium!" Eleya shouted.
All the magic instantly dispersed and they turned back into mana, sparkling like a galaxy around her. She looked up and opened her mouth, then the beautiful view of mana was sucked in. Once all of it was eaten, she looked forward again while licking her lips. She smirked at them.
"Don't just standing around!" The Elder shouted. "Knock her out!"
The elves began to cast their spell and they also shot Eleya with arrows again. But this time, some of them rushed toward her with blade on their hand.
Eleya leisurely kissed her left palm while the spells and arrows were blocked and deflected by her invisible shield.
"Sare..." She whispered and then blew her kiss to her left. Dust appeared from her empty palm, and it was blown toward the elves. Thus, everyone on her left instantly fell asleep.
Crack... CRASH!
Suddenly, a loud noise of shattered glass was heard. And to her right, the elves successfully broke her invisible shield.
STAB!
In seconds, Eleya was stabbed and the blade went through her stomach. However, the Elf who stabbed her was surprised as she was melted and turned into a goo. They looked around to look for her real body whereabouts. Then, they were all spotting her floating a few meters above them.
She was Eleya Nel'Thas The Magnificent. And she was known with her multiple spellcasting. No one knew how many spells she could cast at once, but they just witnessed that she did four spells in seconds. Sleep, shield, decoy, and flying.
"I think the elves need a new Elder." Eleya said as she casted thunder from her hands.
The Elder calmly raised his hand to block it.
KRAKABOOM!
Cloud of dust filled the place where the lightning struck. As it was fading, Eleya could see the Elder's shadow. He glared straight toward her.
"A thousand year too early for you..." He said as he was then counterattacking with his thunder spell as well.
KRAKABOOM!
The thunder struck Eleya, but it was blocked by her shield. However, there were still some energy left that was deflected and hit the ground.
BOOM! BOOM! Rattle rattle...
The elves who where watching, as well as the ones who attacked her immediately ran away, terrified. They didn't want to get hit by their powerful spells. Some of them also brought the ones who were unconscious. As they were in a safe distance, they stoppped to spectate the battle again.
The Elder casted fire ball continuously. However, Eleya evaded the projectiles by flying left and right while she was also shooting her spells toward him. Of course, he was also dodging them. They eventually circled each other and moved around while kept exchanging spells.
For several minutes, they were throwing spells at each other without rest. Then suddenly, the Elder spun his staff and swung it upward. The ground below her suddenly spiked up.
Startled, Eleya ascended. However, the Elder raised his staff and the gem on its head shined. Then, several thunders struck her at once from the sky.
KRAKAKRAKABOOM!!!
Eleya got pushed down and fell on the ground, and the area filled with cloud of dust in an instant. As it was faded, one could see the ground was scorching red. However, Eleya was still standing as the electricity ran through her invisible shield and onto the ground. She smiled and leapt forward.
The Elder aimed his left palm toward her and shot several ice spikes. But then, Eleya vanished. She blinked and appeared three meters right in front of him. She bent her arms on her sides and electricity wrapped her hands. Then, she stretched them as her palms aimed toward the Elder.
ZAP!!!
The Elder evaded by moving right. Then he pointed his staff at her, and arcane bolts were shot.
Fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh
Eleya ducked and blinked forward. She appeared right in front of him. Her right hand was wrapped by electricity, and she immediately punched him right on his gut.
WHAM!
"Guaarrrrghhhh..." The Elder screamed as he took a direct hit. He was knocked a few meters back and landed safely. Then, he grinned creepily.
A magic circle appeared below Eleya. Surprised, she was looking down. But it was too late, the magic circle was already activated. However, the light slowly faded and it did nothing.
The Elder eyes were wide open, shocked as his powerful magic trap got deactivated. "I-Impossible!?!"
Eleya looked at him. Seeing his priceless reaction, she couldn't hold her playful smile on her face. She then put her index finger on her lips, and a magic circle appread below him.
Panicked, the Elder chanted a spell and aimed his staff toward her. However, the gem on its head didn't shine and no magic was casted. His face became terrified as he stepped back.
Eleya then kissed her hand. "Sare..." She said in a low soothing voice, and then she blew it toward the Elder. Dust was blown from her empty palm.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
