『Day 3』

After acceptin' my new class, I decided to refresh my memory of the palace's layout, so I walked 'round the place a bit.

While doin' so, I acquired the「Mapping」skill.

As I spent almost the entire day doin' this, it became level 3.

Since we're allowed into certain places we weren't before, I wanted to check 'em out.

Specifically, the terraces that lined accompanied the rooms on the outskirts of the palace.

I've not been able to see mucha the outside of this world yet, so I thought I might as well.

Just so I can experience what this world feels like first-hand.

After all, havin' been stuck inside the shitty palace for the past few days, the feelin' of bein' in another world hasn't really hit me yet.

It'd be good to know what this world's like, even if it's just a glance.

So that I'm not a total virgin shitkid when I leave this place, such a thing'd be good to have.

However, when I entered the large an' extravagant terrace, I saw somethin' unexpected.

I spotted someone odd.

It was a person I'd seen before, though only once.

―A lovely-lookin' red head was there, standin' at the edge of the terrace and lookin' out to the distance.

It was currently late evenin', and she wore a rather sensual, tyrian purple nightgown.

Since it's a bit transparent, it's possible to see her body underneath it too.

Hah.

What a beautiful scene.

Like somethin' out of a movie, huh.

Though I'm only able to see it in this darkness cuzza「Vision Enhancement」.

But wow.

She is fuckin' hot.

Voluptuous breasts, sexy waistline, juicy ass; she's got the whole deal goin' on.

What the fuck're you doin' out here like that?

Though, maybe she thinks it's fine since we're in the royal palace.

Either way, I remember this chick now.

She was there on the first day.

When we were just summoned.

After that though, she didn't appear once.

I checked her Status while slowly walkin' over to the railin' she was solemnly lookin' over.

She's a high-born noble.

That's what havin' both a middle an' a family name indicate, while only havin' a family name'd mean you're a low to mid-born noble.

By the way, the First Prince and First Princess of a country're the only people to have two middle names.

Anyway, she's 20 years old an' Level 38.

That's quite high for someone so young, huh.

The Class is [Knight Captain].

I see.

Impressive, havin' such a position at 20.

Though I, myself, am infinitely better, I s'pose it's somethin' that deserves praise.

That was when I reached the edge.

Silently, I stood next to the Knight Captain an' looked over the railin'.

That was also when she noticed me.

"....E-eh? Where did you-- No, who are you?"

For some reason, she's cautious.

Maybe cuz I appeared without her noticin'.

She was really deep in thought, eh?

"Name's Ryan."

―Was all I said.

Then, a little flustered, she turned an' fully faced me.

".........Ah. You are one of the Summoned Heroes, are you not? It's so late.... Did you need something?"

My eyes quickly scanned up'n down her sexy'n allurin' body.

This eye candy...

Perhaps, does she think I can't see?

Or's my age the problem.

"Nah. Just felt like takin' a look 'round the place."

She had a momentary expression of surprise on her face that instantly disappeared.

"...I actually met another hero the other day who also seemed to like exploration. Are you perchance acquainted?"

That can't be the case.

If any one'a those virgins saw this chick, they'd be completely hypnotised.

They'd prolly go 'round braggin' 'bout how they met this 'crazy hot girl' or some shit.

Camilla wore an expression of bein' in thought as I just recalled somethin'.

The strange feelin' she felt was certainly not a mistake.

She's a Level 38 Knight Captain after all, so her instincts ain't just fuckin' around here.

Even moreso if one of her skills can do somethin' similar.

But it could also just be a coincidence.

Since I don't know what the curse does, it may or may not emit a strange feelin'.

After all, I felt nothin' outta the ordinary from 'im.

....Ah, fuck, there's too many unknowns.

It doesn't matter right now anyway.

That guy's s'posed to be dead an' it ain't somethin' urgent, so it can wait for now.

...Even though somethin' doesn't feel right when it comes to that guy, there's nothin' to be said about it.

"Ah, my apologies! I forgot to introduce myself."

Camilla then suddenly straightened her posture and held a fist to her chest as a kind of greetin's.

"My name is Camilla Ruvauenia. I work as the Captain of the Seronian Royal Knights' 9th Squadron. It's been a pleasure meeting you, Hero Ryan."

She ended with a slight bow of the head.

This seems to be noble etiquette.

"It's good to meet ya too. By the way, why were you out here so late in the first place? And why haven't I seen someone as charmin' as you around more often?"

"...A-ahem. I give you my gratitude for such unworthy praise, but I apologise. I'm not looking for a partner."

"As for being out here at this time.... I just wanted some fresh air."

As soon as she finished talkin', Camilla turned 'round an' walked back inside the palace in brisk steps.

My, now apathetic gaze, only stared at her juicy, swayin' ass, that was slowly makin' it's escape.

"......Aight, then.", I spoke to the vacant air.

....S'pose I'll 'ave to make do with a maid then.

I headed to my room with the bitter taste of defeat, lingerin' within the inside'a my mouth.

『Day 4』

I woke up, alone.

What a fuckin' shame, I thought.

To let that sexy beast of a bod from last night go to waste.

It's sad.

Well, it can't be helped.

Next time I see her, she won't have a choice.

At least it's fine for now, since the maids're skilled in that type'a thing.

Though they gotta wake up early to work, which lasts all day 'til evenin', so unfortunately there's no mornin' fun.

Oh well.

At least I now got the authority to have such a thing in the first place.

I quickly ate and went to kill the daily goblin quota.

I also happened to see that Yamato nerd again.

When I saw 'im, the pig bastard was fully healed by the palace's staff.

They got people real good at Restoration Magic, huh.

To restore broken bones an' all.

It was reported as a mistake made durin' trainin' yesterday.

Looks like he's too frightened to say what actually happened.

Well, I ain't complainin'.

At least that fucker knows his place now.

I found out that the goblins we're fightin' have been sourced from a place called the [Plaentic Great Forest].

As the name implies, it's a fuckin' huge forest―entirely within Seronia's borders.

It's got multiple villages that lie within it, as well as a myriad of different Monsters.

By the way, those 'Demonic Beasts' that the princess bitch talked about a few days ago, is just another name for Monster.

Most of the shit she spewed was fabricated just to gain our trust and cooperation.

It makes me wonder what really happened to that guy, too.

Especially after the encounter with Camilla.

I can't help but think somethin' happened.

Most likely though, he's dead.

They're prolly only tellin us he's evil as a safety precaution.

Just in case he has a Unique Ability like resurrection or some shit.

Though, since I saw his Status before an' he had no Unique Skills, I doubt it's somethin' to be concerned about.

I was almost convinced by the lyin' princess that time.

When she said Jae was evil.

Cuz he was [Cursed] by a god, while everyone else was [Blessed].

But I know there's more to it.

Everythin' else she said was bullshit, after all.

Other than that, I've been goin' 'bout things as usual.

Ah, there was somethin' else, too.

It's「Magic Sense」

Just today, it levelled up to 5.

It was only possible cuz I never stopped usin' it, so skill proficiency was accumulatin' constantly.

Of course, other shit levelled up too, but there was somethin' special when「Magic Sense」reached 5.

―I can now see the properties of people's magical energy.

For example, my magical energy's a colour of intense violet; the same as what flared durin' the rankin' ceremony a few days ago.

As such, Chris' is the same gold.

What a despicable person though, to have the colour of glorious riches.

It appears that the brighter an' more exotic the colour, the greater the rarity an' power, etc.

The base colour of magical energy is blue, though I don't know exactly why.

Apparently, nobles in this world have more magic power, so their colours are generally more vivid, compared to commoners who have little to no magic power.

The person with the dullest magical energy I've seen so far was a rando maid who works here.

Most likely, she's a commoner.

The colour of her magic power was dust brown, and the capacity was about the size of some dust too.

Compared to someone like Chris who's got a capacity about the size of a volley-ball.

The way capacity works is a little complex.

The biggest I've seen was somethin' a little under beach-ball size, belongin' to the Royal Magician.

By the way, that old man present durin' the rankin' ceremony was the Royal Magician.

His colour was bright orange with a toucha red mixed in some places, kinda like fire.

And then, summa the nice information received as a result of「Great Sage's Records」levellin' up was related to magical energy.

It was that, in short, magical energy is in everythin'.

Livin' organisms, the earth, the sea, the air―mana resides within everythin' present in this world, and is enhanced by it.

Similar to how carbon is inside all livin' organisms on Earth, mana is inside everythin' in this world.

Theoretically, mana causes mutations within many of the creatures here, an' as a result of it, lotsa things exist here that would never exist on Earth.

For example, Monsters an' the Demon race.

I've even heard that there're people that are like demi-humans in this world.

Humans with various oddities like animal appendages.

That, also, is prolly all a mutation caused by the existence of mana.

Except, it isn't limited to only creatures.

The landscape in this world is fuckin' crazy too.

I managed to have Nico pocket some maps of the places in this world.

Since there's nothin' like a World Map, I dunno everythin', but from what I've seen, the topography in some partsa the world're incredible.

Things like fuckin' crazy huge mountain ranges, scorchin' lakes of fire an' unimaginable deserts of ice, with all'a the above also bein' riddled with monsters of various sizes, attributes an' affinities.

That's all prolly cuzza mana too.

I don't know at what time I'll leave this place, but when I do, I'll need the related information 'bout this world.

Although it may not be totally necessary information to acquire, havin' knowledge of how to survive in those types'a places...

...It certainly wouldn't be a bad idea.

『Day 5』

The goblins we fight've been given some basic weapons an' light armour.

It's to both raise the difficulty since we've gotten stronger and more experienced, as well as to give us experience fightin' things that are actually a threat.

Though, thanks to that, I've acquired the「Pain Tolerance」,「Slash Resistance」and「Blunt Resistance」skills.

By the way, there's an important difference between [Tolerance] and [Resistance].

[Tolerance] doesn't effect the level of pain, or how much pain you feel.

It only allows you to more easily handle pain.

Whereas [Resistance] simply reduces the pain you feel.

Obviously, there are always mages that know restoration magic on standby so no one actually maintains injuries.

At present, I am Level 8.

It's become increasin'ly more difficult to level up from only killin' goblins, since we're 'bout the same level as the mid-level ones.

Apparently, the only reason I'm Level 8 in the first place is cuz I'm the one killin' the most goblin bastards outta everyone else, includin' even the popular fuckhead, Chris, who's been manipulated by the princess bitch to follow her every order, like a fuckin' trained animal.

I suspect this means the experience required to level up grows exponentially.

Though it makes complete sense, it irritates me.

Moreover, despite bein' the one to kill the most goblins, it don't mean I'm the highest level outta everyone.

Mostly, it's cuz certain shits have enhanced experience gain.

Although people with the「World Traveller」title certainly level up and level up skills faster than the people of this world, there are certain people with additional experience boosts.

Really, there's 2 people that're currently higher level than me, despite killin' less goblins.

Lucas, as well as that dog-like bastard Chris.

Lucas I expected, since I saw the effect of his Trait the other day.

But Chris, that fucker; it's an effect of his「Hero」title.

That bastard has so many undeserved benefits cuzza that title, it seriously pisses me off.

Anyway, I'm sure of it now.

While we're stuck in this place that supposedly wants to cultivate our growth, it is certain that they're, conversely, limitin' our growth.

As for why this is the case, who fuckin' knows, right.

Obviously, the royal bitch does, but it's not like I can do anythin' 'gainst her right now.

Although she attends the Seronian Royal Academy, the bitch does live in this palace, so I've seen her often.

Cuzza that, I had the opportunity to check her Status.

Ever since, I've felt the need to get stronger, and quickly.

Not only that, but she's an [Enchanter].

As expected, a mage-type class, however, her physical stats are still above mine.

But, her skills...

「Charisma」and「Alluring」

These skills are prolly what makes everyone friendly with the bitch.

They prolly do what they say on the tin, an' are the main reason almost everyone takes her side.

Unfortunately though, that's not all.

There's the one I'm most concerned about, moreso than the first two...

「Charm」

This fuckin' thing is most likely what that bitch uses on Chris; to train him into an obedient dog.

Thankfully, it doesn't seem like it can be used on everyone, or else we'd already be royally fucked.

Literally.

It's prolly the case where it can only be used against fragile-minded individuals like her dog, Chris .

Cuz he really is a mentally fragile bastard, isn't he.

Either way, it's somethin' to watch out for, since I'm not 100% on the skill's effects.

Also, I've got more information that was hidden from us.

Thanks to Nico's「Presence Erasure」skill.

He couldn't really get anythin' till now cuz the skill was only low level, but cuz he kept usin' it like I told him, it levelled up.

To level 4.

And, cuzza it's increased effectiveness, he'd obtained some rather interestin' information 'bout the current state of affairs in this country.

First of all, the first princess.

The bitch's sole older sister.

She doesn't live in this country anymore, as she's been married off to the prince of another country for political reasons.

Moreover, the First Prince was not within the country's borders either.

He was visitin' the Kalype Empire as Seronia's representative for peace talks, since tensions between the two've been risin' in recent years.

Allegedly, the Empire and Seronia had more or less equal military forces, surprisin'ly enough.

However, the Empire has the backin' of its numerous subordinate countries, or client states.

Therefore, if a war broke out, there would most likely be innumerable casualties, which is the reason for the negotiations.

Not only that, but Seronia would have a lower chance of winnin' than the Empire, even with relatively equal forces, so in the worst case scenario, the entire country could get swallowed up in the flames of war and be destroyed.

Of course, there are many decidin' factors for who will be winner or loser of such a great war, such as us 'Summoned Heroes' bein' involved, as well as many hyopthetical scenarios, such as betrayals from allied countries, double agents, etc.

In any case, with some luck, the First Prince, Dexter, will succeed in the peace negotiations and the idea of such a terrible great war as a whole will be avoided.

Somethin' tells me that things won't just go down that simply, but there's nothin' I can do 'bout it.

Anyway, I was pleasantly satisfied, and so have Nico continue his investigations as usual.

Finally, there's been substantial progress in my party's combat prowess.

Namely, Kait's title,「Flash Duellist」, upon reachin' Level 5, had unlocked a new skill called「Lightning Step」, massively increasin' her fightin' potential.

Put simply, it's a move that allows for short-range instantaneous teleportation.

I believe some of the guys in the class excitedly called it [Blink] or [Flash]?

So I think it's a relatively popular concept.

That, combined with her other Unique Skill,「Lightning Slash」, as well as her other skills, general abilities and natural talent makes her a force to be reckoned with in combat.

Evidently, she seems to be based around the Lightnin' attribute.

Although it has clear strengths and weaknesses, a [Lightning Swordsman] seems to be a rather rare class in this world, as well as bein' quite powerful.

She's got me an' Nico to cover those weaknesses too, so I think it's fine.

By the way, I call it [Unique Title], cuz it's a thing unique to only one person, which is usually just us summoned.

Basically just the titles we were given when summoned to this place that give us our [Unique Skills].

Like my「Disciple of the Great Sage」and Chris'「Hero」, for example.

However, only those rank B or higher have a Unique Title.

Anyway, she really exceeded my expectations, so I'm rather proud.

Never thought the day would come.

But then, although everyone was sayin' how cool it was an' shit, nobody actually said anythin' else.

....Seriously, does anyone actually realise how fuckin' powerful of a tool teleportation can be in a fight, even if it is only short-range?

Somehow, I don't think so.

I plan to make Kait realise this and use it to her advantage.

It will be lotsa fun as a sidejob, I s'pose.

Then, there's Nico, who, aside from merely gatherin' information, is also very useful in battle.

Since his Unique Skill was「Presence Erasure」I had expected it, but Nick is an assassin-type class, basically, who specialises in Agility and targetin' the weak points of the enemy.

His Unique Skill allows him to, as the name suggests, almost completely erase his presence.

Again, it's somethin' which's extremely useful to have for various reasons, both in and outside of combat.

Although the effect disappears as soon as he attacks or is attacked, it's still fine.

By the way, Nico's Unique Title is「Unseen Dagger」.

Unfortunately, other than「Presence Erasure」, he hasn't acquired any new Unique Skills yet.

I let those two specialise in their respective ways, cuz havin' multiple all-rounders ain't a good strategy.

Oh, and, thanks to「Great Sage's Records」levellin' up again, I discovered a possible new way of fightin' that seems infinitely more effective for levellin' and fun than simply usin' weapons.

Though, I haven't completely figured it out yet, so it'll have to wait for now.

『Day 6』

After annihilatin' all the goblins I was allowed to fight within a short period, I returned to my room, which was the second biggest outta all our class'.

Of course, I shoulda gotten the most extravagant room, but I was cheated.

Cuzza the dog bastard Chris.

Basically, since the rewards're given on a meritocracy system, the guy with highest level gets the best shit, right.

So, cuz Chis is a dirty fuckin' cheater and has massively enhanced experience gain, his level is by far the highest in the class, followed by Lucas, who also has boosted experience, though by a slightly lesser amount.

No, actually, I think Lucas' is more effective, but since he kills a lot less goblins, his rank is third.

That's why I'm second even though his level's higher than mine.

Chris kills a bit less than me, but has a much higher level, which's why he's first.

Then again, I'm pretty sure that bastard gets special privileges anyway.

The fucker is backed whole-heartedly by the manipulative bitch who's also royalty, so it's not outta the question that he's been given things the resta the class dunno about.

Not once has that girl used her Unique Skills durin' battle with the goblins.

Since I know her Status, it's not a problem, but she's smart to keep it a secret.

The real thing to notice however, is somethin' else.

―Just like me, that girl's gotten top 5 with no Unique Skills.

Back on Earth, I never saw her fightin' once, but after seein' her fight in this world, I realised.

She's definitely trained in somethin'.

Her zero hesitation when goin' for the kill and moves that just exude the sense that she's experienced.

Her talent is somethin' to be proud of, that's for sure, but in the end, it's nothin' compared to me.

That's why I'm second an' she's fourth.

She was ranked A, an' her Unique Title an' Unique Skills seem ominous.

Since she ain't done nothin' 'gainst me so far, I'm only keepin' a watch for the time bein'.

As a side note, the colour of her magic power is strange.

Essentially, it's black.

However, it's bright.

That's the only way to describe it.

Anyway, other than her, the pig bastard an' his little friend have botha their pseudonyms on there, since that's what they decide to call themselves.

I don't give one shit 'bout 'em, though their skills are somethin' else.

Nothin' to care 'bout or look out for on their side.

Also, there's Ash'n Julie.

Not much to say 'bout 'em, 'cept that Ashley acts strange.

Think she's got feelin's for the「Hero」bastard, though I have no fuckin' idea why anyone'd like that weak-minded loser.

She always looks at 'im, though he never notices'n just grovels at the princess bitch's feet all the time like the dog he fuckin' is.

Clueless bastard seriously pisses me off.

Anyway, from what her Unique Title is called, she's doin' pretty aight.

Her primary weapon's the bow.

All I'll say for now is that goblins ain't her ideal prey, so the fact she's doin' this well when they're all she's got is respectable.

Then there's Julie.

That chick's kinda aight too.

Well, she's eighth, so that's good I guess, but nothin' to specifically watch out for.

She's rank B, an' her Unique Title is「Blazing Champion」.

As the name suggests, she uses fire.

To be precise, she imbues her weapons with fire attribute.

I think her'n Ash're in a party cuz they're pals or somethin'.

...Now that I think 'bout it, didn't I take her watch on the first day?

It was so that I could figure out the time difference between this world and Earth.

After I stole it, I was chased by Chris.

Of course, I never returned it though.

Oh well.

It's mine now, so who cares right?

In any case, when I returned to my room, I continued where I left of on my research.

My research of what「Great Sage's Records」informed me about, that is.

They're called [Runes].

I don't have an absolute comprehension of 'em so far cuz the formulas're complicated beyond anythin' I've ever seen before, but I've got a basic understandin'.

They're somewhat related to magic circles, which's one'a the two main ways people'a this world use magic.

Those two ways bein' [Incantations] and [Magic Circles].

Since Runes're kinda a seperate thing from those two, I'll explain them another time, but in short, Runes're just a mix'a the two.

The way I've understood it:

「Runes are magic circles created with incantations.」

That's as basic as I can explain it.

In theory, since they use both magic circles an' incantations, the power of runes should be doubled when compared to usin' either of the former.

That's why I thought they'd be good for killin' goblins fast.

However, applyin' the same theory means that they'll also take double the mana cost to cast.

The setup time is also lengthy.

Not only that, but they're a one time use thing.

It's troublesome.

Havin' took all this into account, I can't find a reason why runes would ever be used.

That led me to think.

Why did「Great Sage's Records」give me this information?

I've got no fuckin' idea at all.

Unless I get more information about it from「Great Sage's Records」I don't think I can make any more progress on this.

There just doesn't seem to be a fuckin' point to it.

S'pose I'll just wait for that, then.

I guess, when I'm bored I'll research it just in case I'm missin' somethin' though.

『Day 7』

Exactly one week after trainin' began.

I achieved Level 10.
