Breaking news we have just a received video from the sole creator and developer Hugh Morgan of Digital Designs. This video has been delivered to major media networks worldwide simultaneously. In the video, Mr. Morgan claims that his highly anticipated release of the renowned Virtual Reality capsule the [Virtual Pod] with the help of AI software and nanorobotics that he personally created has digitally downloaded the consciousness of hundreds of thousands of players who were currently online for [Dawn of Antiquity] official opening ceremony.

We have been informed by authorities assigned to this investigation that they are currently assembling a panel of experts in technology, nanorobotics, and neurology. This panel's goal is to attempt in reverse engineering the [Virtual Pod] in hopes to learn how it works and hopefully reverse the mental download and save the trapped players.

Over the past twenty years, I have combined an Artificial Intelligence with nanotechnology that works in sympathy with the [Virtual Pod] software to digitally download the consciousness of every player into the game world of [Dawn of Antiquity].

I myself, by now have gone into hiding and also entered my virtual world in the same manner. Ten years ago while I was in the process of creating the [Virtual Pod] I was diagnosed with a terminal disease. This is when I decided to take my life’s work in a new direction. I began the development of transferring a human consciousness, or as some may say their soul into a digital world where they could live free from disease and death.

Over the years I grew weaker, but I fought through it to have finally accomplished what I set out to do. Then as I celebrated my accomplishments and looked back at how I sacrificed my personal life to get there.I was now all alone and ready to soon enter a new virtual world where I would find myself also forever alone. This was when an idea took form. I would release my modified [Virtual Pod] and [Dawn of Antiquity] that I had redesigned to save me from death to the entire world.

All of those with the foresight and expectations of being present at the Game World’s opening ceremony has been digitized with me to live in a new world that will continue to evolve over time along with us by always providing new lands, content, and adventures out beyond the ever expanding horizon.

The video was then cut short as Hugh Morgan was still talking and the shot went back to the newscaster with her hand placed on her ear and obviously listening to instructions from an in-ear receiver.

Nathan reached for the remote and turned off the television to become completely lost in his reflections, feeling both fear and excitement from the video he had just seen.
