Old Timeline
2316 AG - Evert travels from his hamlet to Dorflich. As a younger son, he does not have a future on the family farm, but has some talent in spiritualism. (Very meek). He is promptly scammed for all his money, gets into a fight with the local bullies (nobility), and only manages to survive his first week because he runs into Sam who takes pity on him. He joins Master Throm’s dojo and begins to study spiritualism, slowly growing. Later that year, Becca joins the dojo (having been kicked out of Master Wong’s). He also takes a side job as a __, and learns to read, becoming a voracious reader in later life. Vince is an older apprentice in the dojo, and largely does not interact with freshmen. Vince enters the tournaments, but loses in the first round of the City Tournament, breaking his vow and deciding to enter the next year as well.
2317 AG – Lennie is punished by City authorities for theft by forcing him to join Master Throm’s dojo. Vince gets brought into the circle of friends, and enters the City Tournament, finally placing in 4th.
A minor beast cycle is set to occur late October 2317. However, a month early (September 2317), it begins prematurely and is so strong that it outclasses almost every major previous cycle. Because of the timing, all outlying hamlets are destroyed with a 80% fatality rate. The City is heavily breached, and 15% of the population is wiped out. Evert and Co. struggle to survive, and rededicate themselves to training. Vince joins the City Guard, but keeps in touch.
2319 AG – Evert, Becca, Sam and Lennie (Vince too old) attempt to enter into the City Tournament, but fail to qualify through the local district tournaments.
2320 AG – At the beginning of the year, the Crown conscripts nearly every spiritualist into the City Guard. Evert, Becca, Sam and Lennie are placed in a company adjacent to Vince’s. The major beast cycle occurs at Dorflich and is successfully repelled, but at heavy losses, due to the weakened state of the City from the Minor Disaster. Evert and Co. play a small role in it, but their powers as spiritualists has plateaued. Frustrated at his lack of power, Evert talks the party into leaving Dorflich come spring and traveling to other places to grow.

The woodland folk give hints as to the dark lord, and give the team a location to investigate on the return to port city.
2324 AG – TV learn from the society of the discover the existence of the dark lord.
2325-2342 – TV go on adventures
2343 AG - Tomorrow's Victory's strength as spiritualists plateaus as they reach the third stage, unaware of the fourth.
2346-47 AG – [Some tragedy, most of TV killed. Evert’s children killed?]

8 144Elder's Game
In a world set upon by an ancient threat, a new cycle of civilisation competes for power and resources. Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter
