Lin Li felt her conclusion was well founded. She explained her thoughts to the tree.

Even the tree became speechless after hearing her explanation. If the tree was capable of facial expressions then its mouth would definitely be twitching.

The tree was about to reply but then suddenly the entire sky became dark. The tribulation clouds have arrived again! Just a minute before the tree has made them disappear!

This time the response of tribulation lightning was more rapid. Besides the black and white tribulation lightning, there were five giant meteorites in the sky.

Each meteorite has a different color. Golden, Green, Blue, Red, and Yellow. Each color represented the five elements Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.

This time even the tree was surprised.

"How strange. This world is so weak that it couldn't even handle my astral projection but yet it could defy my orders." The tree sounded surprised.

The meteorites rushed towards the tree at a supersonic speed. One of the tree's leaf-covered Lin Li to protect her.

The meteorites target was the trunk of the tree where Zhen Han was floating inside in his deep sleep. The laws of the heavens couldn't allow him to destroy the balance of the world!

Inheriting memories of previous life or of a being from other world was forbidden! Such a thing could destroy the very balance of the world!

Previously, the laws of the heavens were not able to find Zhen Han as the violet bead formed a barrier around him and his mother. So the tribulation lightning was directed towards his 'bodyguards' as they shared the same source aura!

Afterward, when the bead brought Zhen Han in open the tribulation lightning tried to attack him but the tree appeared. The tree made the tribulation disappear with a single word!

But this world of Endless Continent was strange. The heavenly laws of this world were powerful enough to disobey the command of the tree. While the tree was just an astral projection but even still to disobey the commands of such a powerful entity was something next to impossible in low-level worlds!

The meteorites landed on the trunk but did no damage to Zhen Han who inside the illusory trunk of the tree. He was still in deep sleep.

Meanwhile, in the four extreme corners of the Endless Continent, four grey light columns came out from inside the earth.

In the blink of an eye, these four grey light arrived in the ruins of Skyrise Empire's imperial palace. The four lights converged together and transformed into a giant grey sword.

The formation of the grey sword created an avalanche throughout the continent.

"Grey matter? The fusion of Yin and Yang...Black and White. The boundary between Death and Life!' The Creation!' There was a tinge of shock in tree's voice.

The sword rushed towards the trunk. A branch of the tree arrived and fenced off the grey sword. The grey sword didn't stop and it continued to send energy attack towards the trunk while it fought with the branches. The entire island was destroyed and submerged in the sea.

"Seems like I need to stop the memory awakening process otherwise the entire Continent would be destroyed," the tree said.

With every passing second, the attack of the grey sword was getting stronger while the meteorite attack and tribulation lightning continued as well.

"My future-self has only seen the memories of my life and my previous self's life. He has yet to see the memories of other seven who came after me. No, the current situation makes it dangerous for my future self to remember any memory of the past," the tree said unwillingly to itself.

The tree was able to make out the details from the heavenly laws of this world. The heavenly laws were similar to a puppet.

The heavenly laws didn't have any intelligence or a Will of its own. All they did was follow the command given to them. The command given to the heavenly laws was to stop the intrusion of any foreign matter in this world including foreign memories.

Strangely though they didn't think the bead was a foreign matter.

The heavenly laws wouldn't stop attacking even if Zhen Han stop the memory inheriting process. They would try to kill him as long as he has even a small memory related to a foreign world.

The tree knew if the fight continued the entire Continent would suffer permanent damage. The tree didn't care about the continent but his future self. His future-self would have to stay in this world till he becomes strong enough to leave the world on his own.

If the tree's true self was present, it could defeat the grey sword without harming the continent. But now the tree was nothing but an astral projection created by the violet bead.

"You won," the tree gave a sigh. Zhen Han continued to be in a stupor but he stopped dreaming. Even the memories of his dream living as a formless energy and a tree were fully erased.

As soon as the heavenly laws sensed this, the tribulation clouds dissipated along with the meteorites. The grey sword turned into four columns of grey light and disappeared.

"Grey Matter in such a weak world. Seems like I underestimated this word," the tree bitterly said to itself.

"If there is grey matter in this world then it should be connected to 'Well of Creation'."

The tree laughed with happiness when it reached this conclusion. It was as if the tree no longer minded the 'defeat' against the heavenly laws of this world.

"Sadly I wouldn't be able to help my future self regarding 'Well of Creation'. But then again it would be more fun in that way," the tree thought.
