"Well, I guess I should punish this so called 'demon' thorougly." The muscular man covered in bright armor says confidently with an accent that Nathan nor Tanner have ever heard before.

The large man pulls out a large hammer and his bright green eyes are full of anticapation as he stares at Nathan. His body begins glowing brightly and he gives off the aura of the holiest paladin ever, drawing the attention of the whole arena onto his person.

"Wait, you're talking about punishing me?" Nathan says and then looks over at Tanner.

"That's you're problem now, I want the small one."

Tanner laughs and shrugs at Nathan's remark.

"Whatever, you filthy demon." Tanner says in a mocking tone and Nathan slaps him in the back of the head while laughing.

Even though they are in a match to the death at the moment, Nathan and Tanner still have a second to laugh and bring their morale up even if they were so serious just a few moments ago.

"Oh, so you don't want to fight me because of a past grudge or because you're scared?" the paladin looking man says with a condesending tone. Nathan's eyes turn serious for a second and he shakes his head.

"No, because Tanner already saw through your ploy. What do you think we are, idiots?" Nathan says and he flashes a toothy grin at the large paladin and then throws a knife at the small girl beside him.

*Tch*

The clicking of someone's tongue is heard behind Nathan and Tanner as the dagger hits the girl's head but she disappears into a thin layer of smoke as the knife comes in contact with her body.

"Also, I wanna see who is faster too."

Nathan disappears from everyone's sight and a symphony of metal hitting metal fills the arena as the battle between Lila the Never Ending Onslaught and the Demonic Flash commences.

"*Sigh* I swear he is too eager to fight sometimes. I will tell you now, you drawing attention on yourself while your partner snuck behind us with her speed was a good idea in theory, but..."

*Boom!*

The sound of a person's body being thrown into a wall echoes throughout the whole arena and a battered and scratched Lila is finally visible after the short battle between her and Nathan. She grits her teeth and vanishes again, presumably going after Nathan.

"My partner is faster than yours." Tanner says with a smile on his face but a deadly glint in his eye.

"Well it seems that you saw through our plan and counter attacked easily, I'd like to apologize for the dirty tactics but I cannot lose this fight. I have too much to lose to lose to you youngins. But now you're fired up so I might as well get fired up as well."

The light surrounding the man burns brighter and he roars loudly. Tanner unsheathes his blade and pulls out his shield. Not going into a stance for defense or offense, Tanner just stands there as his opponent runs at him with a holy light flowing from the paladin and a burning passion in the man's heart.

'Now it is time to show off my true strength to everyone.' Tanner thinks to himself as the man comes closer and closer.

*In the other arena*

In front of Joey and Bree stands two men, one that is huge and has the intimidation of a mountain, and another one that looks sickly and pale.

A blue light swallows the arena to signify the barrier to protect the audience and Joey sighs a breath of relief.

"Looks like I can go all out without worrying about hurting anyone but myself... Hopefully." Joey says while laughing nervously.

Joey knows how strong the opponent with the opposing aura is but the other one is shrouded in mystery. The big one is eyeing Joey up and down with his eyes full of hope and Joey is eyeing his back with a glare of suspicion.

"Take a picture, it'd last longer." Joey says while chuckling himself, but no one else is laughing. This is a fight to the death and the only people Joey knows that would crack jokes in this situation is Nathan and Tanner. The only reason Joey said the joke was to calm his nerves and he knows it.

Seeing as no one is making the first strike and both sides are just glaring at each other, Bree makes the first move and several ice spikes form in the air and surround the enemies. The big man laughs and points at Joey.

"You are my opponent young warrior. Let's see how strong you've become in this short span of time." the man says with a happy attitude. The big man then looks at his partner but his eyes seem to be filled with disgust when looking at his partner.

In a condescending and judgemental voice, the big man talks to his partner.

"Just deal with the ice woman. Puppeteer, I don't care how you do it as long as you don't do anything too horrorific. You got me?"

He made sure to put extra emphasis on his last words like he is threatening his teammate

"Yeah, whatever. Whatever you say Liam." Puppeteer retorts back to his teammate with a disinterested tone.

After Puppeteer says this, Ice spikes rain down from the sky at both of the two even though Liam declared Joey was his opponent. Seeing this, Liam shook his head and pulled back his fist and released it forward right before the Ice Spikes riddled the two with holes.

As Liam's fist is extended all the way, gusts of wind blow from his punch and a massive gust of wind blows all of the Ice Spikes into random directions.

Liam follows up his punch with a forward leap at Joey that catches Joey by surprise but Joey is stronger since the last time they fought. The truth is, even if the four don't do anything they still get stronger as the days go by as their bodies become used to the new world and the mana in it. With Joey facing opponents with comparable strength and the daily awakening of his powers, Joey is nearly double the strength he was when he first faced Liam in the garden.

The biggest repercussion was his powers can hurt his body but that doesn't matter to Joey right now.

Joey widens his stance and prepares to take the powerful punch that is full of wind head on. Bree runs away from Joey and towards Puppeteer while summoning Ice Spikes around him.

Liam's face turns into a smile as he sees Joey is not running but planning to block his attack and he fills his punch with more power.

As Liam reaches Joey, Joey reaches out his hand which threatens to catch Liam's punch head on. Liam inwardly laughs on the inside at the arrogance of Joey as he knows what is going to happen next, or so he thought.

Instead of catching the punch and absorbing the damage, Joey grabs Liam's arm and uses Physical Explosion. As he does so, Joey uses all of his strength and Liam's forward momentum and throws Liam over his shoulder and straight into the ground.

Not expecting Joey to have any grappling skills, Liam wasn't prepare for this and took considerable damage as he coughs up blood from the impact. Joey doesn't want to give Liam any breathing room and jumps into the air and above Liam. Joey pulls his fist back beside his face and prepares to do an aerial punch downwards onto the now stunned Liam.

Joey's fist falls with the power of 100 men towards the face of Liam and Joey has a wide smile on his face as he thinks his win is secured now.
