The next day after the incident, it was fully discussed between Leano and Joey what would happen next. They decided to continue on the original journey and the reward would turn into 3 platinum coins each, plus the amount of land will be raised as well. Of course, Tanner would still own Niki, and he can do whatever he wanted to her. Not that she minded since he was the heavenly angel she has admired. Also, one guild representative will be joining them, and it was decided that Catia will be sent. The group had eaten breakfast with the Royal Family and was sent out to leave immediately. They would be accompanied by 15 guards, as well as a month's worth of food. Niki had received more money to buy food from other countries. They set off on their adventure with 7 different carriages. One for Niki and Tanner, Joey, and Bree; one for Catia and Nathan; finally 5 for the 15 guards that accompanied them. The food was within the guard's carriages and inside of Nathan's carriage were the camping supplies if needed. Their first destination was decided as The Empire. This was a country of all humans that treated any other race as slaves. They had accepted to talk about peace with The King, it was also the closest. It would take about 2 days to get there.

*Later the same day at night*

"Princess, we think it is a good idea to set up camp here."

"Alright, I will take your advice Commander Zel."

The commander of the troops, who was a dog demi-human, had noticed it was too dark to travel so he advised that they had set up camp. They were at a small lake that had a clear opening beside it. They were in The Empire's land now so they were using a map, and they made it a lot farther than expected. They would arrive at The Empire's biggest city tomorrow around 4:00 p.m. which was a day early. The guards had set up all of the tents, but there wasn't many so people would have to share. There was one tent for each carriage, so who shared a tent were the same people who shared a carriage.

*In the Princess's tent*

"Alright, Darya and Jeff can stay on this side of the line, and my hubby and I will stay over here."

Niki had drawn a line in the middle of the tent so the others wouldn't get confused and bother her and Tanner. Tanner smacked her on the back of the head.

"First, who said you could call me that, secondly you are not sleeping with me, you go and the corner and sleep by yourself."

Niki let out a small sigh of defeat and went over to the corner. "He is so mean.... Maybe he is into that kinda thing" is what she thought to herself. She didn't get a chance to do what she wanted last night because Tanner used "Divine Light" and blinded her. Once he did that, he quickly pushed her out the door and locked it. She figured that she would sneak into bed with him later, especially since it is getting really cold at night now. It is about mid-September and it was getting colder and colder each day. She put the idea in her head that Tanner would get cold without her so when he was asleep she could warm him up.

*In Nathan's tent*

Nathan and Catia had set up their beds and were getting ready to fall asleep and they both went to grab a blanket. Once they were at the carriage with the blankets, there was only one blanket left. They both looked at each other and laughed nervously.

"How about this, we will sleep under the same blanket, but we are back to back?"

Nathan had offered this resolution and Catia just looked away and blushed. She had never slept in the same bed with a man before, but it was just Nathan so it couldn't be that bad. It wasn't like he was going to rape her, right?..... Right?

"A-A-Alright, but I'm going to keep on a T-shirt and shorts on, so don't get any ideas!"

Catia looked at Nathan sternly with a finger pointed at his face. Why would he do anything, he was really confused. What did she think he was, a demon? Oh wait, he was.

"Ok ok, I won't."

Nathan laughed a little bit and they went back to the tent. Once in the tent, Nathan takes off his shirt and Catia starts to freak out.

"W-What are you doing?! I said don't get any ideas, even if it is you, I'm not ready for that yet!"

Catia was speaking very fast like she does when she gets excited, and Nathan just looked at her like she was stupid.

"I never sleep with a shirt on, and what do you mean by 'even if it is you, I'm not ready yet'."

"Nothing!"

Catia had finally realized what she had said and her face was entirely red now, but Nathan decided to ignore it. He was so tired from driving all day that he just wanted to get to bed. He laid down and put the blanket over him. Catia decides that Nathan doesn't have any bad plans about taking her virtue, and decides to lay down too. She presses her back up against his and is hit with a weird feeling.

"It's so warm, is this is what it's like to sleep with a man, I might want to hide the extra blanket again next time."

"What did you say?"

Catia was mumbling to herself and Nathan had caught her. She quickly says "Nothing" and goes to sleep smiling. Nathan just decided to let it go and fall asleep too, but before he could get there a bright flash of light awoke him. He could hear a loud slap followed by it and the princess screaming extremely loud. "Meh, I can deal with it in the morning" is what he thought.
