《Tarros》Chapter 8 Escape!

Then, it happened, Caleb snapped out of his miserable state and saw the millions of sword floating on to the air flew down in a speed of light. Their target was the Transcended Demon standing on the floor like a gigantic mountain.
Then as the millions of sword on their way, Caleb saw another Transcended Demon lurking behind the other demon, "It looks familiar.. wait it looks like Kyou."
Then Caleb saw this demon suddenly hugged the other demon like a monkey.
'What? Hhmmm... is that a suicide tactic?' Caleb thought to himself as he stared at them carefully. This kind of tactic was rarely seen and used in combat. It was a method of killing your enemy at the expense of your life. It was a 'do or die' situation.
Then Caleb heard a series of explosions loud enough to make his eardrums break. He covered his cover and hid behind the bed frame.
Then the whole area began to shake. 'What a strong spell! This is more than a Transcended Demon can do!'
Then, it did not stop there. The gigantic winged woman floating in the air charged. She raised her staff and swung it to the other demon who was tied up by another demon multiple times.
A loud noise even erupted into the area. Multiple cracks formed on the floor and smoke rose and covered the entire area.
Then the winged woman threw her staff away and charged through the smoke.
Then moments later, Caleb saw a dazzling light and heard a deafening noise!
"Are they insane?! These are all high tiered spells!" Caleb shouted as he clung tightly to the bed frame.
Then Caleb's vision began to swirl. 'What's happening now?'
Caleb looked out and found out the entire area was shaking! Caleb felt that he was in a roller coaster ride.

"Crap!" Caleb scarcely shouted. Bearing the pain in his head, he held the bed frame tightly as if it was his best friend.
Moments later, Caleb sighed in relief as he noticed that the shaking began to slow down. He stood up, still holding the bed frame with both of his hands.
"Unbelievable.." Caleb's mouth was wide opened and saw the aftermath of the battle. He saw smokes everywhere and particularly noticed the huge hole above. Hovering five hundred meters above the floor, Caleb saw Kyou's dejected face and she suddenly fell from the air.
Caleb heard a loud thud as Kyou's body crashed to the crystal floor. Caleb did not even blink and saw the entire scene.
Then he saw Kyou stood up and walked towards the other demons. Then, like a machine that loses its power source, Kyou collapsed on the floor. Caleb saw her shouting something but never heard what she said.
'There's something wrong here. Where's the other one?'
Then, as Caleb was contemplating, he noticed a crack appeared in front of him. Then the entire area trembled.
'It's collapsing? This place can't hold magical power anymore.' Caleb's face began to sink.
"I need to escape."
Caleb looked around and found an odd-looking door. 'I don't know where this thing leads me. But I need to escape here.' Caleb gulped down a mouthful of saliva and ran through the door.
As he pushed the door, a magnificent blue light suddenly lit up behind him. Caleb unconsciously turned his head in confusion.
He saw the magical staff on the floor suddenly radiated a blue light. This light envelope Kyou's body and disappeared.
"What was that? Is she still alive?" Caleb asked himself as he doesn't understand what was happening.
He decided to take a look. He went towards Kyou's body. There he saw Kyou's tragic body. He also noticed the tragic death of the other Transcended Demon. 'What a terrifying technique. I don't think I can survive on those spells.'

Caleb reached out his hands and checked Kyou's vital signs. "She's barely alive. I think that blue light has something to with this. But I don't think she can last any longer."
Caleb noticed her belly was swelling up to the point that it will explode in just a matter of seconds. Weirdly, Kyou's face was distorted to the point that Caleb can't recognize him anymore.
"Leaving her here is like wasting a ton of information."
Caleb right now was in a predicament situation. His heart wants Kyou to die here, but he also wants to save her so he can gather enough information.
As far as he remembers, she said Caleb was a murderer, killing so many.
"I don't remember killing anyone. That number was absurd." Caleb knew his limit. He will not go beyond that. Killing was not his cup of tea.
Then Caleb felt the room shooked violently, and multiple cracks appeared into the air.
"I don't have any choice, she's the only one that can answer my questions."
Caleb sighed and finally decided to take Kyou along and escaped in this place.
He carried the unconscious Kyou and ran through the odd door.
As he ran, the room's crystal floor began to fade. "Crap!"
Caleb panicked as he ran faster. As he was near the door, he slammed it with his shoulder.
"Yah!!"
Then they went through the door and soon the entire Chamber of Torment collapsed leaving Fye's body behind.
For an unknown amount of time, Caleb opened up his eyes and what he saw was pitch black.
He felt that his body was submerged into some sort of water. Fortunately, Kyou was still in his hands.
"Where the heck is this?"
Then Caleb felt his body began spinning wildly like a rolling ball.
Caleb tightly hold Kyou's body as he feared he accidentally dropped her.
Then a tremendous aura pierced through his brain like a sharp knife. 'What is it this time?!'
Caleb felt like thousands of knives pierce his brain as he felt a terrible pain. Then as he can't hold any longer, Caleb fainted.

Crimson Pervert
Markus gets - quite literally - thrown into an RPG Fantasy world. Casually gaining game-breakingly great power is the very first thing of course, but afterwards travelling the world, building a harem and having plain fun is on the agenda. Note: No room to hide the fact that this is heavily inspired by the "Death March" web novel. I will give it my own touch by not having a Japanese-ish main character (Japan is cool and everything, but why have a harem if you never ever do something "H" with them?). Everything (characters, story, etc) is basically my creation, but I consider it a re-think of the original, so I can neither call it an "Original" nor a "Fan Fic". Don't expect it to be overly innovative. I will add an 18+ warning as soon as something like that happens, the first chapter just has a bit of undramatic blood. Comments welcome.
