《Legend of the Evil Hero》Chapter 17: Redemption

“I will now begin your true execution Ryuji.” Cazius snap his finger.
Then the soldier bring him the unconscious little elf. The elf that supported me with all of her might during the night of terror. The little sorcerer who respected me as a leader.
But while I'm on the ground fighting the devastating gravitational magic, I caught a glimpse of her eye which barely opened and looked at me. Even though she is on her limit Chiyo still try her best to silently cast her last magic. The magic that she's been saving up until now because I told her to.
The magic which defy the laws of magic of this world. —"Limit Break"—
Cazius grow something like blade out of his hand that is covered by the bloods of the mages.
“And to finish this forbidden magic, a blood of a pure high elf is needed”
Cazius raised his blade in attempt to cut the thin arm of the elf.
In an instant I feel a sudden outburst of all of my abilities inside me, it is almost the same as when I removed the limiter armlet but now is like a hundred times stronger. Is this the effect of Chiyo's magic? “…Cazius…” I said with my usual low pitched voice while disabling my demonic transformation from earlier and returning back to my human form.
The general faced at me who he thought was suffering from a gravitational pull. I looked up at him and began standing up. The gravity magic was so strong that even the rocks around the me break into pieces but I am able to move just fine. Cold-sweats run down on the general’s face.
“I’m sorry… but the one who should not exist in this world… is YOU!”
I said while staring at the general with my pitch-black eyes.
Using enhanced godspeed I snatched Chiyo from them and back to where I'm standing in just a millisecond or less.
At that time fear is the only thing I can use to describe the looks on the face of the corrupted general.
“Oh, you see... You're wrong about one thing... —I smiled and slowly said— I did saved my lover.” I slowly said with my back facing the general.

With my right arm carrying Chiyo I raised the left as signal.
Not a second passed an arrow that came from nowhere hit Cazius in hand.
“Hah! You think this. This can kill me?” Cazius said doing his best to form words.
“No.—I said with my usual low pitched voice and at the same time Bel Zeria suddenly appeared besides the general, she immediately grabbed the arrow on the general's hand forcibly removing it then stab it straight to the general's heart. Then I continued with—“...That will”
I smiled at him. The next thing he knew is that he is on fire. Fire that is too gentle to be called a wildfire but is too hot to be compared to a normal fire.
“ Arrow of the Purgatory” a soft and gentle voice behind me said. It is too low to be heard in the whole area but it is enough to reach my ear. The same voice that welcome me when I first arrived here.
No other than the voice of my first party member Liliana Windsor.
In an instant, nothing is left to the commander but ashes that is soon carried by air. When Cazius disappeared the blood mages began falling down life drained. Nothing left to the whole army but a dozen of pile of corpse.
Chiyo's Limit Break ended along with Cazius. And because of that I could feel that the remaining strength in me is only enough to make me stand.
I take a look at her who's standing behind me. And there appears the same girl who loved me with all of her heart. She's wearing the same darkish brown cloak that I got from her, under that is her usual leather armor and thigh quiver.
Tears are still dropping from her eyes as she look at me with her usual smile. In my mind all that I could think of is that 'I did it'. I manage to get her back.
Chiyo opened her eyes and told me to put her down.
Lily immediately run and embrace me with all her might. My face got buried in her huge breasts.
Tears still pouring Liliana did her best to say.“ I... I'm really glad Ryuji!”

“...Welcome back Lily”
“Yes, Yes! I'm with you Ryuji”
Chiyo soon embrace Lily which she responded immediately.
Minutes has passed after their reunion Chiyo asked“ How did you do it?” with both of their gaze directed at me.
I am now lying on the floor with my head on Lily's lap.
“I exchange Bel's Power Gem for her.”
“Thats the original plan afterall.” Bel added.
“Oh. So that's why you told me to meet Renia and the others at Lily's house.” Chiyo continued.
“Yea. And I know you all will return to me anyway even though I told you not to return so I let my mens guard Lily's body while it is recovering”
“So it is finally over right?” a distant voice said.
It comes from the red haired girl who also fight for my side during the night of terror.
When Paul, Christina, Ichiro, Renia, Karen, Mayuri, Guinezia, Chiyo and Lily gathered up Chiyo out of nowhere asked me.
“Mens? What mens?”
“Oh. I'm the demon hero right?” after I finished those words I snapped my fingers.
And then goblins, hobs, kobolds, kobold leader and all the different kinds of monsters that raided the Aldebaran appeared and surrounded us.
Renia and the others get on their battle stance in an instance.
“Everyone stand down.” I said calmly.
““WHAT?”” they all said in unison.
“They're harmless” Bel said while slowly sitting on the debris of a fallen house.
Lily helped me raise from her lap and sit.
“Yes Bel is right. These monsters that is residing in the Orcish Great Canyon were all loyal to me. And her.” I pointed at the demon girl.
“We met them shortly after we save you guys from the canyon.” Lily added.
“But how are these two came back to life?” Paul asked.
“Ressurection Magic is not possible here in this world” Bel started.
“Yes. Even in elven highest wisdom no one ever achieve that.” Chiyo explained.
“To us mortal it is not possible. But,” Lily added.
““If anyone can bring the dead back to life that would be gods themselves.”” Bel and Lily said.
Then after a short pause Bel continued with “And since this demon hero here is a successor of god. He make the imposible, possible.”
“I think this is the right time to introduce myself again,—Bel stand from her sitting, then she took a glimpse at the red haired boy just to see the boy already in deep sleep which made her let out a sigh. Liliana smiled while holding Ryuji.— “My name's Erabella Van Helzing, randomised the letters and you'll get Bel Zeria. Anyways, I lied about the thirteenth commander, there's only twelve of them and I'm the actual demon lord of this current year.”
It was dead silence.
“““WHATTT??””” All of Ryuji's battle party who heard that exept Lily said in unison.
Their noise woke the boy once more.
“Yep. I'm not hiding it. I just don't know how to reveal it.”
And of course all of them are adventurers who pleaded to slay the greater evil. They can't think of anything to do or say. They all just stand there and look everywhere else.
“Ill explain everything later. The hero is charging here in an incredible speed, so we need to vacate this place now. Everyone!”
All the monsters surrounding the demon lord all hurriedly escaped the fallen city. They all run to a single direction towards the canyon.
Ryuji stand up and faced his team “We'll rendezvous at the Orcish Grand Canyon. I request everyones cooperation, for now follow this crazy girl.”
“What about you?” Renia asked.
“I have some business left. So go on without me.”
Lily began embracing me tightly. Her soft chest delivered a warm and very calming feeling. “Ill come with you” she said.
“You've already done the best you could. Now it is time for me to do mine. Don't worry it won't take too long.” after that I smacked her gently.
“Please. Stay safe.”
“I will”
“Are you done?” Bel asked.
“Yes.”
She snapped her finger once more and then the huge monster who I battled earlier and I thought dead raised one again.
“Everyone get on him” Bel instructed.
As the monster walked away with them and me left alone in the fallen city. I spend my last minute in the dried fountain waiting for the hero to arrive.
