The whole city of Aldebaran was devoured by the pitch-black darkness. Countless lamps from the ceiling of houses inside the fortress illuminates the roads. There are also 6 balls of different color floating in the sky that is also doing their job as the moon of that planet.
It was the dawn of the day.
The light slowly appeared from the east. At first it was red, then it became orange before going a complete yellow. The sunrise was a bit earlier than normal indicating that it was summer solstice in that planet.
Even before the roosters crows. The sleeping girl in a certain house in the City of Aldebaran opened her eyes. She was lying on her bed in the second floor of their house. The girl blinked twice then rub her eyes before going on her feet. She has a slender body and a skin as white as the fresh milk from the dairy. But the thing that is not normal to her age was, her noticibly huge front, it was huge compared to someone at her age.
But her waist-long brown hair was a mess. At very least it is what someone will expect to one who just woken up.
She walks towards the full-lenght mirror in her room with her usual bedtime negligee. The mirror shows her copy the moment it caught her.
She gathered all the bits of her hair and began assembling it. When the roosters gave their morning crows she was also finished organizing her hair securing it with a clip.
Her long braided hair bounces from left to right as her footsteps ran along her room towards the closet. She tried her best to avoid the stuffs lying on the floor. A wooden bow in good condition then a quiver half-loaded with arrows beside and many more stuffs the she didn't organize.
She opened her closet and there appears her usual clothes, her ranger outfit paired up with light leather armor. She was registered as ranger in the adventurers guild. Her teacher in archery was no other than her father, he is also the reason why she pick the ranger job.
But today was not the usual day. Her party will not go on adventure after a long exhausting one, so she ignored the ranger outfit and cast it aside. In the midst of her clothes she spotted the overall that her mother used to wear. She grabbed the overall and take it out of the closet.
One or two years since she last wore that, and now that her body had grown it almost fit her. After the trouble of wearing it she immeadiately go back to the mirror and upon seeing her reflection she can't help but to smile.
When everything was set she ran down the staircase of their house.

“Liliana! Don't run in the stairs!”
The voice was manly and it made no effort to reach the ears of the girl. The voice came from her dad that is sitting in the chair in their kitchen.
“Oh, right sorry dad.”
Her mom that is busy cooking their breakfast face at her dad and give him a sharp glare. Her dad has black hair while her mom has brown.
When her dad sees the reaction of her mom it caused him to raise both of his arms palmtop and then reply to the gaze of her mom with—what?—expression.
After a while her dad, pick up the mug of water in the table then drink it all up in one go.
“I'll be leaving early and I'm not sure if can return before sunset. Liliana help your mom okay?”
“Sure I will. Good bye dad.”
Her father then strode outside the door of their house. It is usual that her father leaves early in the morning because despite his age he's still working as a ranger. After she cast off her sweet and gentle voice she just watched her father from behind the door.
“Don't mind your father Lily, you can go and enjoy yourself for a while today...”
“Nope. I'll take over the stall today. So you're the one who should enjoy yourself mom.”
“Are you sure you can handle it?”
“Of course, I'm the second offspring of the Windsor family!”
Her mom gave a sigh and force a smile then reply to her daughter who is chest out sitting on the chair.“Okay. All right. I'll leave it to you then. There are some things I need to buy today too...”
“Okay! Then it is settled!”
After she finished all the dishes on her plate. The brown-haired lass head off to the city where their garment stall was.
It was just the beginning of the day, everyone in the road was pecfectly ocuppied by their usual everyday routine. Some barmaids in the front of the taverns are inviting every passerby, some adventurers are well equipped with their usual weapons and armors heading off to their adventure, and the stall owners is busy organizing their stuffs.
Upon her arrival to the front of the stall Liliana done the same thing too. She organized and rearrange every mechandise in there, from undergaments to everyday attires. Their shop contains atleast what everyone needs in a garment shop. When the girl finish up organizing she put the empty boxes in the storage beside the stall. She stockpiled it all in a symmetrical order. The girl sees an unsual box lying on the floor, then she remembered it belongs to her sibling. She attempted to open it up but a voice from outside didn't let her to.

“Hello? Anybody here?”
She immeadiately rush to the door upon hearing it.
“Oh! Hello how may I help you?” her soft and gentle tone made the old lady reply with a smile.
She realized that her mother's usual day here in their stall was no joke. Many customers come and go from time to time. She had a hardtime taking care of all of them at the same time.
After 18 or 20, she lost the count as customers easily form a crowd. When she finally gets a breather, she drank the water inside the clay jar when she removed the stopper.
“Phew, that was refreshing”
She silently muttered to herself. She put back the empty jar back to her bag. When the girl finally look back at the front of the stall, the uncommon appearance of a handsome boy surprised her. The boy has red hair and half opened cyan eyes that is scanning the merchandise. The boy wears a gray jacket with black shirt inside, a brown pants and black casual shoes.
She never seen someone dressed like that way before. The boy was just standing there his eyes seems to be finding something. At some point while scanning the boy's eye met the gaze of the brown-haired girl.
Liliana was so surprise that she didn't know what to say.
But she gathered back her senses then forced a smile to the boy and said with her soft and gentle voice.
“Hi! How may I help you?”
“How much for the cloak?”
The voice of the boy with red hair was delivered in low-pitched way. But why is it that to her it sound so assuring.
She remembered the usual dialogue of her mother when talking to an adventurer, she mimic it right away.
“Are you an adventurer? If so, may I see your rank? I can give you a discount.”
In this world the adventurers offers a great assistance on the Imperial Army driving the evil forces away. So every now and then, every stalls there offers a various benifits to adventurers.
But suprisingly, the boy in an uncommon clothes replied while looking down.
“Ah, sorry I'm not an adventurer...not yet”
The boy clearly said 'not yet' that is the only thing that matters to her now. She assumed that the boy is just a beginner who's about to become an adventurer.
She remebered that her late big brother loves to collect various cloaks of different colors.
“Is that so?. Oh I remember!. Please wait there for a moment.”
Liliana rush to the back door to where the unusual box was lying. Her footsteps rush to the back room. She immeadiately opened the box and there appeared the collection of cloaks, she browse and scans every single one of it without the smile leaving her face. Then in her sight appeared the one she likes the most when her brother wore it. She grabbed it then rush back to where the boy was.
The red-haired boy was just standing there looking exactly at the room where Liliana is.
“Here it is.” she rush towards the boy then stretched her arms in order to give the well-folded cloak. She felt the warmth of the sunlight as it strikes her sleeve less slender arm.
The boy took a hold of it then spread the folded garment with both hands. She caught a glimpse of the slight bend of the boy's mouth that made her did the same—smile. The boy slowly put on the cloak, it was perfect for his size.
Now that everything is perfect the girl stared at the boy with her strong will and smile. She said the words that caught the attention of the boy that is still gazing at his new cloak.
“You can have it for free! Well, my late big brother used to wear that.”
“Free? Are you sure?”
The girl nodded with a huge smile on her face that can soften everyone. Then she reply.
“Hm! You said that you're just about to register as an adventurer right? Consider it as my goodluck charm!”
“I see. Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure! What is it?”
“Is your name...Kasumi?”
“Kasumi...Hmm, never heard of that name before. My name is Lily! And you are?”
The boy muttered something upon hearing Liliana's words but the girl didn't hear it clearly. The girl just tilted her head still gazing at the boy.
“Ryuji...I am Ryuji, you can call me anything you want.”
“Is that so? Well then I will call you Yuji...Now then, Yuji be sure to comeback here when you're an adventurer I have a quest for you!”
The red haired boy was surprise in just a split second. Was it because he don't want to be called that way?. That must not be it because a smile immeadiately appeared on his face.
“Sure. I will...Thanks for the cloak Lily”
The girl was surprise for a moment but she came back on her senses and responded.
“Don't sweat on small things!”
After that the boy walks away with the dark-brown cloak hanging on his back, the boy that will soon change everything.
Liliana smiled again still looking at the back of the mysterious boy, then she slapped both sides of her face with both hands before hurriedly came back to her work.
