As the stars became visible , the sun was setting at the edge of the horizon ,

Ryu sat on the hill with a unconscious woman laying close to him , he decided to pull her long ears but it wouldn't come off.

Ryu-"Ah....this is not a movie.."

Ryu sat on the hill as he watch the fort gates getting push down bit by bit.

The elf woman with green hair finally woke up

Phei-"Ugh... my leg"

Phei sat up slowly as her leg were wrapped around with bandage

Ryu-"You , wher-"

As soon Ryu spoke , she immediately looks at him and saw the gaze of his red eyes

Phei-"Eeeeek a demon!"

She cover her face with her hands as she tremble in fear

Ryu-"Tsssk , I saved you from that lizard and th-"

As Ryu once again open his mouth , she took a peek of Ryu between her fingers after noticing his voice.

Phei-"Ahh! I am so sorry! I did not mean to say that , you must of saved me right! Thank you so much sir and thank you for taking care of my bruise"

Said Phei as her cheek turns red

Ryu tries to hold his anger and smiled as he needed her for questioning.

Ryu-"*This is the 2nd times she cut me off...bare with it..*You are welcome , tell me where are we and what is happening over there"

Ryu points toward the fort as the gates crumble down

The demon roar loudly and charged inside the gate

Phei-"Ah! not good! The fort is going down!"

Phei tries to stand up slowly and she suddenly felt a cold chill on her , she turn around and sees Ryu glaring at her with a fiercer eyes.

Ryu-"I will ask you one more times , where are we?"

Phei sat back down

Phei-"Ah... I am sorry.. erm... here.. is the eastern border of Yonlia , the front line that separate the demons from the world and... those are the demon invading our fort"

Phei quietly explained as she turn around and point at the fort

Ryu-"Hmmm Yonlia border , demons , a girl with long ears...how the f*ck did I get here.."

Ryu was in his though as Phei ask him something with hesitation

Phei-"Uhmm I am sorry but I have to go help my friends in the fort"

Ryu look at her from head to toes

Ryu-"How can you help? with that wounded ankle of yours , you will be more of a burden"

Phei-"But .. but I have to..or else Yonlia will fall!"

Ryu thinks for a while and asked her a question

Ryu-"Is this Yonlia a important country?"

Phei nodded

Phei-"Yonlia is one of the biggest country... and our duty is to protect the smaller cities and town from demon invasion...Ah I really have to go..thank you sir..."

Ryu-"Mhmm , call me Ryu"

Phei bowed and with her large wand in her hands , she walk slowly toward the fort.

Ryu-"That idiot.. how is she even going to get inside of it if the entrance is filled with demons"

Ryu leans over on the tree as he watch the intense battle

Loud cries of agony could be heard across the battle

Ryu-"Hmmp it got nothing to do with me but...it's getting interesting to watch how these people fight those so called demons...but I need a better view than this.."

Ryu took out a black rectangle from his pocket

Pooooff

A black binocular appeared with shiny green lenses

Ryu held the binocular and look toward the fort

After analyzing the walls , he noticed the tallest tower.

Ryu-"Hmmm...Ah , that watch tower seems empty"

Ryu disappeared from the hill within the shadows.

Zon-"Fall back! do not stay in the center!"

As captain Zon issued an command , the soldiers quickly repeated his words.

Zon and Zalyn were the only remaining captain while most of them died as soon as their gate felt down.

Zon quickly gathered the soldiers in the back door exit as Zalyn supported them with her ice magic.

Zalyn , holding her crystal staff as she chanted her spells quickly grew tired.

Ryu-"Hmm she's making ice appear out of thin air... magic... huh"

Ryu watched with his binocular as he sat on the edge in his white suit.

Ryu-"They are using weapons... and they can glow too ...not all of them can use magic huh?"

Watching the battle gave Ryu many insight , the so called humanity had demi beast tribe and elves while demons were also many in different kinds.

As for the demons , there is rarely anyone that can use magic while most of them uses weapon , big , heavy weapon.

Zon-"Damn it , they are too strong! Where is our buffers?!"

Soldier-"They... they are... gone"

As expected , Zon knew that Wil took all the buffers with him.

Boom!

A big minotaur smashes the ground with his giant mallet

Zalyn-"Ughh... there is still one left..."

Zalyn originally focused on getting rid of the big demons first and let the soldiers handle the smaller ones.

Zalyn-"I won't have any mana left after this.."

Zalyn held her staff and chanted , suddenly , a giant ice spear formed by the water moist in the air

Ryu-"Oooh.. the spear got bigger"

Splash , the spear penetrated through the minotaur's chest.

Zalyn felt down on her butt while her mens were busy with demons

Zon-"Hold up abit longer Zalyn!"

Zon was clearing a path to the backdoor as Zalyn's troop protected them.

The human army were greatly out number by the demons by 10 000 to 40 000.

Zon-"Quickly.. we have to get to Wil's camp"

Suddenly , a burrower pass through the guards by digging a underground tunnel appeared infront of Zalyn

Zalyn face quickly turned pale as she couldn't move.

Zalyn-"Ahhh this is it for me.."

The burrower with 8 legs swings one of it's claw toward Zalyn

She closed her eyes and waited for her ending.

Ryu-"Don't they have guns here..?how old is this world exactly....Oh god.. don't tell me... they haven't invented cake yet?!"

Cake..cake...cake...cake...

The word cake echoed within the walls of the fort

The burrower suddenly halted for a second and died as a soldier stabbed on it's back

Zalyn-"Wh..who is that.."

The soldiers and Zalyn looked at Ryu , who was on top of the tower.

Soldier-"I.. I don't know captain but he helped us... atleast.. I think"

Ryu suddenly jumped down onto the battle field , as he landed further away from the soldiers , Ryu quickly found himself surrounded by demons

Zalyn-"Ah.. you! It's dangerous!"

Zalyn held out her hands as she saw Ryu in danger

Ryu-"Curse... this world... no cake!? How is that possible!"

Ryu flinched his fingers and unleashed a furry barrage of chained daggers.

The daggers pierced the neck of the demons , one by one , each daggers flew to their target.

Ryu gripped his fingers and pulls the chained daggers toward him , as the daggers fly closer , it began to stick together , forming 4 big blades.

Ryu swings his arms , spinning his daggers widely , he killed all 400 the demons that surrounded him in a single spin.

Soldiers-"What the...."

Soldiers-"Who is he..."

Soldiers-"D..did we have someone like that..."

Soldiers-"He isn't even wearing armor... what a man..."

Soldiers-"Yea but.. what is that weird clothing he got on..?"

The soldiers were astonished and regain their morale as they witness Ryu's massacre.

Zalyn-"...Why does..he looks angry...."
