“Welcome to the Circle of Reincarnation, Kouta-kun.”
“Haahh???”
The girl with silver hair smiled radiantly as she welcomed me to the place.
“Because of your death, and the title you were given by the God of Creation, you have been given a second life in the world of Elzads.”
What is she talking about? I died? That can’t be true!
“Kayaka… What about Kayaka!?”
“Your sister? She is fine. Right now, Kayaka, Hyoudo, Alexis, Furry, and the other heroes are having your funeral in the town. Even if you were regarded as a useless hero, the higher-ups still had to keep up appearances.”
“Is that right…”
My voice trailed off as I realized that I died when I fought Korke. It was a good thing that Kayaka and the others survived.
“By the way, how did they survive the fight?”
“Hmm…? When they saw you got split in half, Kayaka went into a blind rage and dumped [Electric Magic] one after another on Korke. Just as she was casting the spells, it leveled up and changed to [Lightning Magic], a skill that cannot be used by the human race. She must have been able to use it when she no longer held any reason in her eyes. Since one of the conditions for getting lightning magic is to have no rationality, she was able to acquire it.”
So Kayaka was able to acquire a high-leveled skill.
“Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, but who are you?”
“Hmmm, you want to know who I am?”
I nodded my head to her response. She smiled for a bit before continuing.
“I am the Goddess of Reincarnation. Well, you might have learned this term from the light novels you read, and it was really interesting to read those kinds of things. Items in Japan are really entertaining for us Gods who have no entertainment in the Heavenly Realm.”
She had an ecstatic look on her face, before she regained her Goddess’ self.

“Back to the subject, I am in charge of guiding the souls of the deceased to their new lives. There have been some like you, who have been favored by the Gods, or chosen for entertainment, but only a few of them were reincarnated because of the mistake by a God.”
She looked at me with pity in her eyes, before again, regaining her Goddess’ behavior.
“Also, I have a message from the God of Creation for you.”
With a snap of her fingers, a single paper floated within my vision. It was glowing while hovering towards me. What is this, a ceremony?
It slowly floated towards me and opened itself when it reached my preferred reading distance.
(Greetings Kouta! If you are receiving this letter, it means you have passed. But do not fret! As compensation for the delay of receiving your skill, and also why you have lived as a loser in my world, I would like to give you a second chance with the ability to learn skills like the inhabitants of this world, and also give you a skill that is inferior to a God’s skill. For the inhabitants of my world, this kind of skill can be classified as an ancient magic. Also, the reason for you, and the other summoned with you were not able to gain any other skill, was because of the [Skill System] I made for the inhabitants of my world. And since you otherworlders are not part of this system, I had to manually give you the skills, resulting in an inability to acquire skills from the system.)
So that was the reason why I was unable to acquire skills, no matter how hard I tried, but, what about Kayaka’s situation?
(Also, about the situation of your sister, mutation of skills is excluded from the otherworlder’s inabilities. Meaning, the skills they were given by me can evolve into higher tier ones. [Lightning Magic] is one of the high tier magics, and also one of the hardest to acquire for humans. Since lightning is classified as a natural disaster in my world, it requires one to lose all rationality, even for even a second and use [Electric Magic] on an enemy to the point of losing all of your mana and vitality. Kayaka was able to do that because of your death, and the hate towards your killer.)

… Sorry Kayaka, for making you go through that. That said, what about my situation?
(Lastly is about you. You can request to be reincarnated as a baby with your skills and memories intact, or reincarnate with an appearance similar to that of your old self. Of course, you can reincarnate without your skills and memories and start anew, the choice is yours.)
The God said that I can choose whatever I want to do with my reincaranation, but of course, I will reincarnate with an appearance the same as my old self so that I can go and meet Kayaka and Alexis and fulfill my promise.
As I was thinking this, the paper increased in length and new words form on it.
(Also, I have to thank you for introducing DOTA 2 to me and as a reward, regardless of what you choose, I will grant you the skill [Item Box]. Thank you very much!)
… At least he gave me a skill…
Thinking, or maybe even knowing that I was done reading, the Goddess opened her mouth.
“Now then Kouta-kun, would you kindly choose which way would you like to be reincarnated?”
With a smile that can snatch the hearts of men, she came closer and in her hands, created a long staff. It was decorated in the finest of metals, the pole was made of orihalcum mixed with adamantite, and the tip of the staff, which resembles an orb inside a sphere, was created with mithril and orichalcum. If this was in the world of Elzads, who knows how many coutries would scramble and wage war just for this weapon. Even If I am no blacksmith, I can still know what type of metals were used thanks to appraisal.
“I would like to reincarnate with my previous appearance along with all of my skills, also, in the same world where I was summoned and if possible, closer to my time of death.”
Without a moment of hesitation, I replied in the most confident expression I could make. Somehow, I fell silly.
“Then, would you please step into the circle?”
A magic circle appeared in front of me as the Goddess stepped aside to let me pass.
“This magic circle will lead your soul to your new body. If you have a change of mind, now’s the time to say it.”
“No thanks. I still need to fulfill my promise with my little sister.”
“Well then, see you next time!”
I stepped into the circle and my vision went white. Following that, was a green, open field with trees in the distance.
“Where am I?”
I observed my surroundings while paying attention to movement. But somehow, I feel chilly. When I looked down, I noticed that I was in my birthday suit.
(I forgot to tell you, but all reincarnated beings are always reincarnated naked.)
A voice resembling the Goddess’ entered through my ears.
“W- WAAAHH!!”
I made a mad dash to the closest tree, picked up some leaves, and made a pseudo man-skirt.
“F- for now I won’t be called an exhibitionist when someone passes through.”
I observed my surroundings again and found a dirt path along the greenery. It looks like it has been used seldomly.
For now, let’s create some clothes with my new skill [Creation].

'Rise of the Business [Class]' is a story about a world where humanity ended up fleeing through space, after suffering several great disasters at home. On arrival we crash-landed and were soon attacked by magic wielding civilizations who learned how to deal with our weaponry with a speed that belied their seemingly simplistic nature. We were lost. But eventually we survived by abandoning technology and adapting. But this tale takes place thousands of years later, after humanity has had time to rise and falter more than once. It tells of a time where we adapted too much, focusing only on combat and magic and learning to rely on the [System] that our ancestors built in order to compete and survive on this hostile planet with the others. This is a story about our final chance during a time when all of humanity is under siege again, where we struggled to adapt too late and ultimately had to learn how to summon a collection of people from Earth through time and space to come help - but not to the 'besieged time' but back a couple of hundred years - before it went too far down the wrong path, so they can hopefully change things enough to prevent a return to that timeline. While a trio of native lads excitedly leave home to find adventure, oblivious to how very soon they might end up entangled in the fate of the world.
