《Wait… Why is this a Skill? [Dropped]》Chapter 1

I am Endou Kouta, a second year highschooler. In school, I am known as the “King of the School” for many reasons. One is because I’m an ikemen with black hair and black eyes, a typical Japanese teenager, and another is because of my good grades.
“Kouta-nii!”
A girl who is an underclassman came running at me. She is my little sister, Endou Kayaka. She is a bishoujo with black hair in twintails and black eyes. She also has good grades. But we have one thing in common, and it is hidden from the school and my friends.
“Kouta-nii. Can we play later?”
I gave a nod to Kayaka who asked me a question. As for what we were going to play later.
“Can I mid lane, Kayaka? I’m going to try Kunkka for today.”
Yes. Some of you may know while others may not. It is a popular MOBA game throughout the world. The name of the game is DOTA 2. Since middle school, me and Kayaka have been playing this game. The reason? Because it is fun and also because both of us enjoy playing together. You can call it a connection between me and Kayaka.
“Sure Kouta-nii. I was going to play Dark Seer to support the team, but looks like we will have a good compatibility.”
While both of us were walking towards the exit since school was finished, I bumped into something.
“Kouta-nii!?”
Kayaka who was worried about me came by my side and supported me up while I was dumbfounded by the thing I bumped into. But when I laid my eyes towards the front, I saw… Nothing. Nothing was there. Just the exit, but when I tried going once more, I bumped into something again.
“What is happening?”
There is nothing there, but I can’t seem to move forward.
“Kayaka, can you please try moving to the exit.”
Kayaka who was in silence looked up to me and nodded. She walked slowly and… Bumped into something and fell. Luckily, I was beside her and supported her back.

“Kouta-nii… What is happening?”
“I don’t know Kayaka. Should we go tell the teachers?”
“Un.”
Both of us backtracked the way we came and surpirisingly, students here and there were panicking and rushing towards the faculty rooms. I caught a rushing student who was running in our direction.
“What is happening here?”
The student looked at me with a mix of fright and admiration. Please stop. I’m not deserving of the title.
“It seems we can’t get out of the school. Students tried going through the doors and windows but were blocked with an invisible wall. Teachers are calling the authorities right now but it seems it will take 30 minutes for them to reach the school.”
“Is that right? Thanks for your time.”
“Th-that’s not necessary Endou-senpai! I’m nothing compared to you!”
This is why I hate this title. The students and teachers place me up on a high pedestal.
“But because you answered my question, I should thank you in return right?”
“B-but…”
I put a smile on my face to reassure the student.
“Y-yes! Well then goodbye!”
With that, the student left while running.
“You sure are popular, Kouta-nii.”
Kayaka who was silent teased me.
“Like you’re one to talk.”
I retorted her remark.
“But we should go see the teacher.”
“Un.”
Just as we were starting to walk, I heard a voice inside my head.
(Attention all students and teachers. Sorry for taking your time, but first I should introduce myself.)
I stiffened in place. I looked over to Kayaka and it seems she stiffened up too. Apparently, both me and Kayaka can hear the voice. But the voice said all students, so I should assume that the whole school can hear this voice.
(I am what you would call a God. I am not a God of your world but of a different world. My world is endangered from an existence called a “Demon Lord” and if the Demon Lord is not stopped, it will continue wreaking havoc throughout my world and may come over to your world too to wreak chaos.)

I know this development as I have read some isekai novels but to think that it will happen in reality. But Demon Lord huh. I have no connection to that world so I have no responsibility to help them, but that voice said that it may cross over to this world too. And the voice said it was God right? I can wholeheartedly believe what the voice said since I can’t even get out of the school because of something blocking the way. I hope Kayaka can understand this too.
(My world is the so-called swords and magic world. All of you will be given skills that surpass the talented in my world. The skills you will be given will be related to your talents and hobbies, so that you can use your full potential in my world. In about one Hor (This is not a typo), all of you in this building will be transferred to my world. I have been given permission by the God of this world to take you all to my world. And all of your friends and families who will not be transferred will have their memories erased about your existence. For this one Hor, please come to terms with anything you have to do now. Please take into consideration that your world is also in danger. Well then, until next time.)
After the God said his farewell, a sound like a static radio rang in my head for a second before vanishing.
“Kouta-nii.”
I looked over Kayaka who seemed worried about our future. Well, we have no problem with our friends and family forgetting us, since our parents are already gone. Both of them passed away when we were both young because of a traffic accident. We have no close relatives like aunt and uncle, because both of them eloped. And their friends also had their hands full with their families so we can’t ask them to shelter us.
Thankfully, both of them had stored a lot of money in their bank accounts and around the house, and thanks to me who made use of their bank accounts to earn money through Steam and other activites, we were able to make it to highschool.
And about our friends, we have no close friends back at home. We only have friends here in this school, so no use worrying about that.
“Don’t worry Kayaka, I will protect you.”
I brought my body closer to Kayaka and hugged her to ease her uneasiness. She hugged me tightly and doesn’t let go.
“Thank you, Kouta-nii.”
With one word, both of us parted our bodies and sat down in the hallway. We saw students here and there frantically running around. Some of them had happy faces exclaiming, “Finally! Magic!” while others had an unhappy expression. Maybe they had strong familial bonds.
We spent our time sitting close to one another. Some students sent us some looks before running about. The girls had an excited gaze while the men sent me envious gazes. Not that I care. All I want is to make my sister and my life easier and happier.
…
An hour passed and while the authorities outside the school were contemplating on how to enter, a giant circle appeared below the school building. More like, it looks like a magic circle. A bright light flashed encompassing the whole building while the authorites were stunned while gazing at the spectacle before them.
“Kayaka, I will protect you.”
“Un.”
I hugged Kayaka as we were about to transfer. A few seconds later, a voice ringed in my ears.
“Oh heroes! Please save this world from the Demon Lord!”

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
