Hmm. Well, considering all I have been through since last I saw my status, this much increase is reasonable. Fenrir got stronger too.
But what is compounding me is, this saturation stuff. Something is saturating my egg, albeit slowly. And tree is no here to answer me. I tried calling out to him, but there was no answer.
So, I can only guess. According to the tree, my egg would need an astounding amount of darkness mana to hatch. And according to the tree Fenrir has a darkness Soul Root since he is a Dark Fang. And when they are idle, both of them are usually in my fourth door together.
So, I think it is safe to assume that Fenrir’s leaking mana is saturating my egg. Yup, that must be it. Anyway, that can be figured out later. Now, I need to figure out how to kill those skeletons. I can’t get out of here without killing them first.
Now, why can’t I kill them. It is like something is preventing them from being crushed. So, my only guess is this cavern itself is protecting the skeletons.

“Hmm.”
What to do? How can I kill them if the freaking environment is preventing them from being killed? This is annoying. More I think more I get pissed.
So, to get rid of the skeletons, I need to figure out what kind of place this is. If this place itself is protecting the skeletons, that means there is some kind of intelligence here. Or at least some kind of system at work.
Now wait a minute.
System. Skeletons are being protected. I think I’m getting at something.
So, my last hypothesis is that this place is a dungeon. And according to some of Alex’s memories, there was certain dungeons in game that required certain type of weapon to kill certain type of monsters inside the dungeons.
In conclusion, I need to find what kind of weapon I need to use to kill those skeletons. In those kind of dungeons people usually use mace or morning-star.
So, let’s start with those. Since I have none of them, wait a minute, I still got the storage items I got from two guild masters. I bring out a ring and a necklace from my pocket. Now how do I access the space inside it.
Let’s approach it with classic. Infuse my mana with it. As I will my mana to enter the two items, I suddenly hear a very familiar sound coming from certain place.
DING!
My interface. I enter my Soul Palace after hearing the sound. And I come before my interface.
Welcome to Main Interface.
Storage Ring: 5 cubic meters.
Healing Potion X3
Mana Potion X4
Mage’s Robe X1
Elemental Mage’s Staff X1
Storage Necklace: 5 cubic meters.
Gauntlets: Assault and Valor
Helmet: Harphia
Greaves: Hystria X2
Armor: Cobelinus
There are quite a few useful items. But not the most needed one. I’m sure mage’s robe and elemental staff will come in handy, as for items in Owl’s necklace might not see a daylight. I prefer my own gears better.

So, I guess that leaves only one option. Mana construct. Let’s try out a mace first. First, I convert my mana into earth elemental and will it to take a shape of a mace. Now that I realized it, energy saturation down here is like off the roofs. I think it is almost as high as The Forest’s saturation.
This will become my advantage. Now that I got my weapon let’s try out my theory. I sure hope this place is a dungeon. Aah, it’s more like Alex in me is getting excited.
I go to the closest skeleton and as soon as I got in range, it looks to me and…
SCREECH.
Screeches again. I get in close range and hit it’s head with my mace as hard as I can. And…
“BINGO!”
I finally manage to hit its head homerun. I was right. But this success doesn’t prove that this place is a dungeon. Whatever, I finally got a way to kill those fucking skeletons. As the skeleton’s body in front of me crumbles to dust, I get the same feeling.
Feeling of life force being absorbed. This further confirms my theory. If this place is a legitimate dungeon, it was no wonder for the skeletons to have life force. Since when people kill them, they need to gain EXP right.
After few seconds, I see hundreds of skeletons walking toward my with their swords. I construct another mace in my left hand and run toward them and start to go to town on them. One swing from my maces, one kill.
Now that I got the way to kill them, those skeletons aren’t that tough.
“HAHAHAHAHA, come at me you fucking boneheads.”
………
“PANT, PANT, PANT.”
Whew, it took me almost two hours to get rid of all the skeletons. I think I killed almost thousand of them. And thanks to my world tree and the high energy saturation here, I managed to fight non-stop and emerge triumphant over the skeletons.
I hoped they would drop something, but they didn’t and the EXP I got from them was meager. It was pointless grinding. Still, grinding is an essence of a dungeon crawling right. Hehehe. Alex in me is getting more and more excited at the idea that this place might be a dungeon.
Now next question is: where to head to now. If this is indeed a dungeon, that means this is only one of the floors. And to progress to the next floor I need to find the boss and defeat it. And considering the monsters here are skeletons, boss must be a necromancer.
And I’m sure that there must be a different kind of monsters here. For example, ghouls, skeleton warriors and mage, there even might be death knight here.
Well, since I started heading north from the beginning let’s keep heading north then.
I walk heading north while dispatching any skeleton I encounter on my way. And only after walking and crushing skeletons for almost three hours, do I find a wall and a ladder heading upward.
I’m not sure how tall this ladder is considering the height of the ceiling. But this is the only way for me to progress along this floor.
So, I start to climb the ladder.
Unexpectedly I came to a different place only after climbing the ladder for five minutes. I expected to climb it at least for a day.
And I didn’t ascend a floor, I got teleported to wherever I am. This place is getting more and more like a dungeon to me.
Now, I wonder what is waiting for me in this floor then.
And ugly grin crawls up my face before I know it.
