Zabel offered Tom a mental thanks and he responded with a your welcome. They stopped and stared stupidly at each other. Tom said what they were both thinking.
"That was weird. This is going to take some time to get use to it."
She rub at eyes.
"Right, I'm going to get a shower. Do you want to look over Silent's curse now or when your done Sr.?"
Tom didn't care either way.
"Now is fine. Also, you don't have to Sr. me all the time, you know."
As she walked to the door.
"I know Sr."
He grumbled to himself when she want outside.
"Kobolds are strange girls."
Zabel chimed in his mind.
'I heard that Sr.'
Replying to her.
'And so is that.'
Wanting out side, her squadmates sat round the small barracks. Jester dealt a new card to Silent and asked.
"So serg, what's his name?"
Zabel raised an overhanging eyebrow.
"Who's name?"
Silent pointed to her office and Jester added.
"Yeah, what Silent said."
The sergeant sighed wearily.
"You already know his name."
Tick got up from her bunk and pulled out a ten as she walked over to Jester. Tock gone white with fear as Tick slapped the used ten next to Jester. In a quivering voice Tock begged to know.
"Ma'am is his name T-Tom?"
Some what confused, she answered with a yes. Tock put her head in her hands and mumbled about how they were all going to die. Tick pulled out ammo boxes and loaded clips into magazines. Silent began playing her last game of solitaire. Jester was laughing her ass off and said.
"Oh serg, you slimy gecko!"
Looking perplexed at the madness that has taken over her squad, Tom cleared up her confusion.

'They um, think we did it last night.'
Zabel face turned the same color red as her scale and horns. She growled in a low voice.
"By the gods, what is wrong with you all. We didn't do anything."
As they got quiet, she facepalmed and sighed.
"Silent he wants to see you next. I'm going to get clean upped."
Jester did a dance with her eyebrows as she stared Silent.
"Rock his world."
Silent tossed her cards at Jester as she got up. Tock asked out loud.
"Soo, we're not going to die?"
Tick peered down at a half empty ammo box and said grimly.
"Maybe, maybe not. We should get more ammo, just in case."
Silent tramped inside the office as his slammed the door closed. None of this made a sound of course. Tom was still setting on the ground and eating. She walked to his side so he could notice her and gave him a salute. Tom moved the tray from his lap to Zabel's desk, turning to get a good look at her.
"Ok, try making some noise."
Tapping her toes, clapping, flicking her fingers and yelling. She tried and failed. Tom was doing his magic thing and she could feel it on some level of her being. Her toe caused a tapping noise. Next her finger snaped and she let out a loud.
"Oh yeah!"
Making random noises as she asked.
"How did you do it?"
Getting a thinking face, he tried to explain.
"You had two spells on you at the same time. The silence spell should have only lasted for a day, but the suggestion spell some how got tangled up with it. I don't know how is doing it, but they kept refresh it... what are you doing?"
With a evil smile, she unfastened the buttons on her uniform.

Ancient Mana Dungeon Core.
Yes the tags are necessary, they will make sense eventually too. Art is not mine, found it on pintrest btw the title on the thing apparently has no name, or at least no title that you can search, at least, but i found this: ‘ArtStation - [UE4] Lost Temple Ruins Jonas Axelsson’ (if your curious I was searching ancient temple game art when i found it don’t bother clicking the link on the thing that says facebook, it does not work) (i will not lie this is kinda my first publication so go easy on me). A while ago I fell in love with the Dungeon Core stories and decided: ‘Heck, why not make my own spin on things!’ and so i started brainstorming what to do and i kinda just found the idea for the story during it. This is the story of a guy named Michael Alex (not a typo that is the name I will be using for him) he was an avid fiction writer and reader who was just sitting on his couch playing a puzzle game on his phone called: Ruins of Drailmor Keep (a three in one deal: tower defence, Puzzle (mazes generally), and world building (namely building on the ashes of fallen empires and regulating certain things while the waves of enemies keeps coming back to burn it down and ruin it just like the curse would while ocasionally sending out your own monsters to get rare rescources)) when he gets an alert and well one thing leads to another and he died to a freak avalanche. He then comes into contact with the universe's will (basically something that *insert your prefered deity here* cooperated with to make the world (heaven, hell, the mortal world, yggdrasil, basically every "world" that has been made (in reality, mythology, games, books, cartoons/movies, and memes!) but also had a mind of its own at the same talk.) and Michael and the Universe’s Will talked and this story is about the outcome of said discussion.
