Alexander walked down an elegant hallway whit marble stone floor and silver inlaid wall trimming. He has heard of bigger mansions, but this is the largest one he's been in. The new client wants to meet him in the outside parlor B-1. Two kobold commandos in tactical gear were escorting him to where it was. He would have been lost a long time ago if he tied on his own. After walking what seemed like an hour, they came to a large double door and guarded by four more kobold commandos. Over hearing one of them say.

"Gray bishop at parlor B-1, over."

She pressed down on the transmit button again and repeated what she just said. Letting go of the microphone and pointed to one of the other three standing there, she told her.

"Run to HQ or find someone with working coms and report. Damn magic is making everything electrical go haywire."

After sending off the runner, she turned to face him and gave him a quick once over.

"Right this way Warlock Alexander."

The other two kobolds guarding the doors opened them to reveal a garden that had many types of sitting chairs and an open bar whit a butler. He and the two escorting commandos walked over to Xia. She had an arm in a string and some bruising across her body. She was wearing a black dress and a gold necklace that ran through all the holes of a burnt out stun grenade. She did not have a smile when she greeted him.

"Alexander, good to meet you."

Xia gestured to the bar.

"Would you like anything to drink?"

Sitting down at the small table as he replied.

"Yes, that be lovely after that long walk. Some green tea if you have it."

The butler poured some in a cup on a smell plate and brought it over along whit an almond biscotti. After taking a sip and letting out a breath.

"Now, how may I be of use to know my lady?"

She passed a picture of Tom over him and a large vanilla folder.

"I need you to find my husband and bring back him to me. Also kill the harpy that took and brainwashed him."

As he looked through files, he said.

"Oh I see, he has some magic in him. This will make it harder. I guess you know my what my asking price is?"

She passed over a gold bar in one hand and said.

"I know, but I'm paying more so the job gets done now."

He had to hold it in two hands as he put in a bag that was too small for it. A loud crack rang out as he disappeared.
