After eating she looked round the boxcar, then over at Tom.

"Where are we?"

Tom not caring that his mouth was full of food.

"On a train in a boxcar, I pulled you out of that box."

As he pointed at it with his fork and asked.

"So, how did you get in there?"

She looked up at the roof in thought with a head on her chin.

"The last thing I remember is them putting me to sleep after another examination, so maybe then."

At this point, Tom was burning with curiosity.

"Ok, who are them? Also, I need to know, what are you? I have not seen your type of monster girl before."

She looked down at her arms and legs with disgust.

"I was a normal human woman and they did this to me. It was the monsters that can use magic and some form of science that did this to me. The spell to turn woman into monsters does not work on all of us. I was trying on new makeup in a lab for some money. I only needed little to help to pay the bills, then this happened. If I ever see that mindflayer again, I'm going to kill her!"

Having most of his questions answered in that little tirade, Tom simply said.

"Heavy shit man."

Checking the time on his phone.

"We should be in the next town soon, from what I know the bull likes to check empty boxcars, so we should get go'n when the train slows down."

A puzzled look came over her face and she asked.

"The bull? Also, what town is it?"

Being caught off guard by this question for a second, he answered.

"Oh, a bill is a train yard police officer and the is town Lakeland."

Her face turning a bit red form embarrassment.

"Hey, You got any clothes that can fit me?"

Thinking for a second and then Tom pulled out his fishing kit.

"No, but I should be able to sew that towel round you like dress. Here turn your back to and I'll get to work on it."

As he worked, she asked.

"So, why are you on this train?"

Leting out a sigh, he told her his story up to this point.

"So you see, I got my own problems to deal. After we get out this boxcar you're on your own."

Twisting her head to the side to look at him over her shoulder.

"You're just going to leave me like that that? In the middle of nowhere?"

Tom's paranoia

'Shoot her. She's getting too attached.'

Tom closed his eyes, gathered a deep breath and then letting it go.

"Fine, we will get to an ATM. I'll give you some money to a burner phone or call a taxi. But after that, the best of luck to you. Ok?"

She bobbed her head with a ok. Tom just got done sewing when the train started to slow down. Not being able to hear anything over the breaks screeching, he got all of his stuff put away. It was about five minutes before they could jump down to the ground at a run. They slowly walk into town and began looking for an ATM. Tom's paranoia kept harassing him about every sound or shadow that moved. He placed the revolver in a pocket from his bag.

She glimpsed this out of the corner of her eye.

"Feeling paranoid?

Staying on the look out as he replied.

"It's not paranoia if thay really are out to get you. I like to know what is going to happen when they open that box and you aren't in it?"

Looking nonplussed at him.

"You have me there."

Seeing an ATM in a corner store 7-11, they both walked in. As Tom looked at the cracked screen and noting that it's a new day at half passed midnight. Pulling out his debit card and checked out how much was in his account. The ATM gave out a beeping noise.

[Card Rejected: Stolen]

Turning to look at her in shock.

"That damn dragon got to my bank account."

Tom's paranoia

'Shit!'
