When the door opened, Ming Li felt the strong energy from plants coming out of the door. He immediately thought "A garden underground!?" "Come with us inside." Elder Mao Kang said to Ming Li as he strode towards the opened door. Elder Mao Cheng was slightly panting as he regained his composure and strode along with the two elders. Behind them, Ming Li was a bit hesitant because of the pressure he felt earlier, however, when he took as step forward, the pressure he felt earlier was completely gone. Immediately, he followed the elders into the door and there he saw absurd amount of plants seemingly sealed in a dimly illuminated garden. The light from the garden were only from natural crystals in the enormous room. It was an amazing sight of plants spanning far and wide deep underground, however, each plant seem to possess a sealing mark so that no one could touch them. "This is the Garden of Death, which consist of thousands of poisonous plants. "Maybe you have heard of the Garden of Life; this place is the opposite of it." "Isn't the garden of life a whole town?" Ming Li asked curiously. "Yes, It is a whole town, however, they have a similar garden like this in the Crystal Leaf sect. But, their garden influenced the whole town which transformed it into what it is today. "Contrary to that, our garden is different since it is full of poison, if we do not seal it and release it in the whole guild, It would surely transform the place into something uninhabitable." Elder Mao Cheng answered. In the garden, Ming Li noticed that there were three people located at three different spots and they seem to be creating something. While watching, he slowly realized that those three were creating something akin to a poison! Since he was enlightened to the art of the sect, he easily understood that those three were creating not ordinary poisons but something extremely dangerous. "Those three are chosen on our group, who we tasked to create special poisons for the upcoming war. Since you are also brought here, we will also task you to create something for the war." Elder Mao Cheng explained while lowering his body, and reaching for a flower in the garden. The seal in the flower slowly faded as Elder Mao Cheng's hand neared it. "However, to pick a plant from this garden, you will need my help. Only the elders are authorized to release the seal placed on these plants. So until the war I will stay here with you." Looking directly at Mao Cheng, Ming Li asked "So what poison should I create?" "You can create whatever you want, as long as it will benefit the guild in the war. You four are here to create something special, something that is meant to turn the tide of war. We are expecting for the poison each one of you will create to be one of our trump card!" Ming Li looked at the three elders deeply and clasped hands. "I shall do anything for the guild." Then he sat crossed legged and immediately began observing all of the plants in his surroundings. When the three elders saw Ming Li immediately went to work, they have all a look of praise. Never would they have thought that someone they doubted months ago would be so loyal to the guild, and would be chosen to enter the Garden of Death. Slowly, they moved away and two elders directly went out of the garden, leaving Elder Mao Cheng behind to look after Ming Li and the other three seekers. The four people did not approach each other and only focused on their own work. It was as if they were robots only made to produce something for the guild. Ming Li focused all of his thoughts while utilizing his art. His new art "Plant Poison Creation Art" would allow him to create extremely potent poison from the any poisonous plants. This poison will materialize into something that look like a small ghost as small as an infants fist. Even though it is shaped like a ghost, it could be still stored in the cube and be considered an item like the crystal leaf. The item was called "Poison spirit" A smile appeared on his face as he thought "I will certainly create a poison for you guys as promised!" He then continued his meditation which lasted for days, while Mao Cheng also sat crossed legged not far away watching everyone do their task. Days passed, and everyone sat unmoving, even Ming Li did not request a single plant after he sat down at the garden. But suddenly, he waved his hands on a small scroll where a list appeared at the surface of it made from natural energy, after which, he stood up and walked towards Mao Cheng. "Elder Mao Cheng, I would like to request for the plants on the list." Ming Li handed the scroll to Elder Mao Cheng. When Elder Mao Cheng saw the list, his brows furrowed, then he looked at Ming Li with a piercing gaze for a few breaths, however he did not say a word, instead he stood up and waved his hands. With a single wave, hundreds of flowers floated in the air as their seals slowly disappeared. With another wave the plants rushed towards Ming Li and stayed floated in front of him. Elder Mao Cheng, did not say a word and sat down again and continued his meditation. After collecting everything, Ming Li returned to his spot with a joyful yet sinister smile on him. It was a smile that could cause everyone to step back several steps away from him by just seeing it. He then slowly lifted his palm upwards wide open making the hundreds of plants float around him. With a smile, he touched the ground with the same palm and a circular symbol with ancient text on its sides appeared on the ground. Inside the circle, there were irregular shapes located at random part of it. The shapes were so random, however, strangely, it formed something like an ancient character. It was his first time seeing the character, but for some reason he understood that the character signifies poison! One by one, plants entered the symbol on the ground, it did not enter at a fast pace, but instead took hours for each one to enter. Each plant that entered the symbol transformed into something like a formless spirit that slowly hovered in midair, and every time another plant come in contact with it, it combines with the previous spirit which then materializes into something like an unstable sludge. It takes a lot of time and effort for Ming Li to stabilize each plant added to the substance. Which was why he realized that it would take him a lot of time to finish his work. Time passed, twenty plants entered Ming Li's symbol, but he was still surrounded by around 200 plants. It was his first time actually mixing more than two hundred plants. Also, out of everyone in the garden, only Ming Li was the one who requested that much plants at one go, that's why Elder Mao Cheng stared at him that way, but since he had understood the art at a deeper level and the war is near, Elder Mao Cheng decided to make an exemption this time, and gamble their luck on Ming Li. However, Ming Li did not care about their hopes in him, he was too excited too create his poison from 200 and more rare plants. It was an extreme thing to do even for him, but he was sure that the thing he would create will change the flow of the war! Sweats slowly drifted on his temple, and fatigue filled his body. It was ten days since he started creating the poison, but he was not even halfway in creating it. He heard before that he wasted 2 months in understanding the art, so he only have a few months left to complete the poison and also increase his strength. When it was two months before a the war, the substance in the symbol fully stabilized after combining 200 and more plants together. The stabilized sludgy substance became solid as it transformed into a shape of a ghost. Then shortly, the hardened substance cracked and shattered, revealing a bizarre light which shot throughout the garden where a small spirit appeared from the shattered substance floating in midair which seemed lifeless. The creation of the poison spirit wasn't as grand as one would expect from the length of its creation, so even Ming Li was a bit doubtful of what he created. Ming Li stood up panting, and waved his hand collecting the spirit. He then handed over the poison to Elder Mao Cheng. It looked ordinary and small, however when Elder Mao Cheng examined it with his consciousness, he coughed up a mouthful of blood and stared at Ming Li in shock. He opened his mouth to praise Ming Li, but before he could utter a word, Ming Li pulled out another list which contained names of another 300 plants. Elder Mao Cheng looked at Ming Li with with shocked expression mixed with admiration and smiled. Then he waved his hands, immediately making 300 plants float, and be released from their seal to surround Ming Li. This time, Ming Li immediately started creating another poison spirit. His speed was faster than his previous attempt. Only after mere ten days, he completed another poison spirit. Thereafter, he quickly asked for another set of plants to create his next poison spirit. Ming Li worked like crazy as if he was being pressured by the time limit of the war. So Elder Mao Cheng deeply started to respect his loyalty. Soon Ming Li created a total of five poison spirit, but the war will start after a month. So again, Ming Li approached Elder Mao Cheng and looked at him seriously as he handed another list containing not 300 plants but instead 500 plants! This time, Elder Mao Cheng's expression flickered, he looked back at Ming Li trying to read his expression, but he noticed nothing unusual. So he waved his hands causing 500 plants to float towards Ming Li and be freed from the seal. By receiving such an amazing poison spirit from Ming Li, he was no longer doubtful of Ming Li's skill. He was sure that the poison spirit was something that could give them advantage over the war. So if Ming Li requested a greater amount of plants, It only means he could create something much better! Again, Ming Li came back to his spot and started creating a poison spirit. This time, he was a bit faster and precise, his ability to utilize the art increased at a great degree which made Elder Mao Cheng even expect more from him. Again, days passed, Ming Li tried to create his poison spirit consisting of 500 plants. It was something that he himself never thought that he would once try to make. However, he was currently making it with great excitement. The same thing as the previous process occurred when Ming Li was about to finish his last poison spirit. But suddenly, instead of cracking and shattering to release indescribable light, the substance cracked and quickly turned into ash which fell in the ground like useless dust from a burnt wood. Ming Li trembled and a look of failure appeared in his face while looking at the ash in the ground.
