The man said "I am not sure If I can ascend into the Heavenly Realm, however I am sure I have a higher chance with my new body."

"I am also curious, since I have used this pill to different people three times already. I wish to know if there are noticeable changes in you. Like changes in your core?"

Ming Li never want to let the man know that he was the first test subject for the pill, so he decided to lie about using the pill on other people. He only cared about determining the changes in the man's body and if it specifically changed the man's core. If it did do something to the core of the man, it would be his best chance to change his core back to normal!

The man closed his eyes as he thoroughly checked everything about his body. after a few breaths, he opened his eyes and said "There are no changes in my core, It is still the same, it is only at a better state than before. Also my soul body have improved a lot. I can feel as if I was actually reborn into a stronger soul body."

Ming Li felt dejected when he heard that it did nothing to change the core. "So It can only really devour your previous self and allow you to grow stronger and start anew."

Ming Li forced a smile and said "Since you are already well, I will take my leave now."

The man looked at him seriously and said "I owe you my life, so if you wish anything in return just tell me."

Ming Li flicked his sleeve and looked back at the man as he replied "No, I am glad that you are alive. Seeing you alive is the best reward I could get."

The man's eyes was full of respect towards Ming Li as he pulled out a golden plate filled with ancient symbols then threw it to Ming Li. The golden plate emanated an aura similar to that of the third sun which proved its rarity.

When Ming Li saw this, he almost wanted to jump from joy, but he still maintained his composure and had the same unwavering expression.

"That is my most treasured possession, kindly accept it a a token of my gratitude. I wish to give you more but, I have kept most of my belongings somewhere far away since I thought I was about to die and most of the items I have will be useless for you."

Ming Li simply grabbed the treasure as if it was nothing special and nodded. Then he turned his head away as he continued his steps slowly away from the man.

The man felt deep respect for Ming Li and said "Even though you do not wish any more payment, I will still remember this kindness and pay you back someday. You are also free to enter our Golden Phoenix Order anytime you want, just present the emblem I gave you and I will personally welcome you!"

Upon hearing the man's words, Ming Li did not look back and simply waved his hands trying to look as cool as possible while thinking "It worked! This guy will now owe the cool me his life! Hahaha!"

By weird coincidence, the sun illuminated his figure making him appear divine as he walk away without any trace of arrogance which could make anyone mistake him as some sort of divine being who descended on the mortal plane.

The man didn't say a word, instead he looked at Ming Li's back with deep gaze filled with strong emotion until he could no longer visibly see him, then a smile appeared on his face as he closed his eyes and silently continued his meditation.

Below the hill, Ming Li walked leisurely with a wide smile. He can now arrogantly enter the Golden Phoenix Order and be treated with respect whenever he wants to.

Even though he killed a member from the Golden Phoenix Order, he knew that it wouldn't be much of an issue since he was a savior of such a strong person.

With all of his lucky encounters, he decided to come back to the guild and continue his search for the dark energy. From all of the information he got, he was now ready to find the location of the dark energy.

On his way back, he saw several seekers from the guild investigating something. Three seeker at the body tempering realm came to him and said "Have you seen anything unusual around? We have cases of guild members missing."

Ming Li thought deeply for a moment as he held his hands on his chin then said "I think I felt a weird energy coming from the a hill on the east. I did not check it out since It felt a bit dangerous so I decided to ignore it."

The three seekers looked at Ming Li with doubt, but based on Ming Li's level he has no way to eliminate thirty seekers on the same realm and one person at the fusion realm. So they simply shoved Ming Li to the side and walked away.

Ming Li also stumbled as he walked away as if he was scared of those seekers, but his smile was that of pure evil.

The hill he pointed was the exact hill where the old man from the Golden Phoenix Order meditated. By using the old man to fight with the seekers, he can push all the blame to the old man for the missing seekers on the forest. It would also be known that there is a powerful expert hiding near the Black Spider Guild which could shift everyone's attention away from Ming Li.

Ming Li continued traveling towards the guild in a bliss while holding the golden plate that was given to him. By simply putting his energy on the plate, he gained insight on its use. The plate can be used in combat which could display amazing strength.

He was eager to try using the golden plate, but he did not want to cause trouble at the moment, so that he will remain unsuspected the by guild.

After keeping the golden palate, he proceeded to his place in the guild and there he saw Pan Bo still boasting about his growth.

Ming Li thought that Pan Bo was somewhat simple minded, but he was actually amazed by the speed of his growth. The speed was abnormal that it could almost rival Ming Li.

"Pan Bo, how did you increase your level again?" Ming Li asked while walking towards Pan Bo.

"Hahaha! Are you jealous my friend? This is the effect of my continuous effort and loyalty to the guild!" Pan Bo shouted while tapping his chest.

Ming Li raised an eyebrow to Pan Bo and thought "So the guild is really not holding back on using its resources to raise the strength of everyone in preparation for the war."

"My friend come with me, we will hunt monsters for the guild!"

When Ming Li heard this, he ignored Pan Bo and continued inside his place, he knew that Pan Bo was simple minded. However, it was obvious that his loyalty towards the guild is worst than everyone and only uses the guild for his own gain. So he chose not to listen to him and focus on his own matters.

He locked himself and resumed his soul connection with Dippy and decided to finally find the exact location of the demon spider's corpse in a month!

On the hill, the man still sat crossed legged meditating, when suddenly, he sensed people coming to the hill from afar. It was not a few people, but instead a hundred people along with powerful seekers with them.

He felt the hostility of the people coming and said "Those damn Black Spider Guild are just in time for me to test my new body!"

He stood up and made a single step. His single step allowed him to appear directly outside the cave. Then he looked up and massive energy emanated from him while his feet slowly inched away from the ground. When his body was a feet above the ground, he laughed uproariously and shot towards the sky at amazing speed!

Everyone approaching the cave was startled by the sudden change in energy of the man. Their faces turned serious as they pulled out various magical weapons.

Some who were in the soul realm started to float and was a bit hesitant to approach the man. They knew that the man was a realm above them, which they did not expect!

They wanted to turn back and seek reinforcement since the strongest person leading them was only at the fifth level of soul realm. His strength was not enough to battle someone who already achieved Soul Ascension!

The man stood at a high point in the sky staring at the people approaching the hill at a distance. He didn't stop laughing as he pulled out a spear from his cube and waved it towards the group of people. A single wave of his spear created a huge flame heading towards the group of people. It was no ordinary flame, those flame was only lit because of the extreme heat from the spear of the man!

The man was using the exact same skill as Ming Li.

Sun's Wave!

Everyone who saw the incoming flames from the sky felt alarmed and used various arts to block the flame. However, most of the weaker arts only crumbled when it touched the scorching wave.

Five people on the soul realm used their arts as they block the attack from the man which made everything quake in all direction, that caused a thunderous boom to echo out!

BOOOOM!

The two attacks collided and crumbled. However, the people on the soul realm who blocked the attack were all panting heavily with blood oozing at the corner of their mouths. On the contrary, the old man was't even affected a bit from the massive collision. It was as if the attack he used was his weakest skill.

While looking at the man in the sky they simultaneously shouted: CHARGE!
