While the people were still discussing about Ming Li, Ming Li quickly went down the stage and proceeded to the waiting area for the second test. Everyone who saw this thought that he seemed like he was actually very serious in beating Ming Li on the second round. On the other hand, Ming Li didn't mind anyone and kept observing the people taking the previous test. His face remained calm as if he was not entertained of what he was seeing. After some time, a bell rang which indicated the end of the first test, then a voice resounded in the hall. "The first test ended, there are one hundred ninety people who passed out of five hundred twenty. The second test will start after a short while." "So the passing rate is actually low." Ming Li thought. The atmosphere became heavy when they heard the voice. Everyone was excited for the second round as they practiced their art and didn't disturb each other. Almost all of them was familiar with the test, so they became a bit uneasy. They knew that not more than fifty people usually passes the second test. On the other hand Ming Li kept observing everyone since he doesn't know anything about the test. Even Duan Ho and Yu Lan didn't tell him what the test would be, mainly because they have no idea, since they didn't take the test and was only selected from the branch sect. Suddenly the same voice resounded. "The second test will begin. The first test was to test the ability of each individual to perform the sect's art. The second test will be about quality and understanding of the plants. The examinees needs to create a crystal leaf with most destructive power based on the plants given to them. Each participant will be given the same set of 300 plants to chose from, so good luck!" "Number one step outside of the waiting area." When the examinee stepped out, everything inside the waiting area seem to became isolated from the outside world. Not even a sound of cheering from the crowd could be heard. When this happened, everyone's face turned serious and tense. One by one people was called out, everyone inside had no idea how many people passed or how many failed. Even Ming Li felt a bit edgy about not knowing the results of everyone. Numbers were slowly called out until the voice said: "Number 150 step out." When the number was called, Ming Li immediately stood up and went out. This time he was standing at a center of a bigger stage with more people watching. The altar seemed to be connected to the test, but Ming Li didn't put much attention to it. He strode forward towards the scroll and grabbed it. After grabbing he scroll, he heard a voice of an old man echo through his mind. "Create a crystal leaf within hundred breaths with the most destructive force and you shall pass." When the voice faded, the blurred plants started to become clearer until it became fully visible. Ming Li immediately glanced at all the plants then waved his hands. After waving his hands all of the 100 plants came rushing towards him. When everyone saw this their faces flickered. "Everyone only chose around 20 to 50 plants at most. Is he really going to use all of those?" An old man on a balcony said. "Maybe he just wanted to get a better feel of the plants so he pulled them clo.." Before the man could finish what he was about to say, Ming Li waved his hands making symbols on the ground to appear. His hands turned illusory as it moved at rapid speed, that only after images of his hands could be seen by everyone. The two old man discussing at the balcony became speechless as they observed Ming Li closely. Chao Mei also glanced at Ming Li and her face started to show signs of curiosity. While creating the crystal leaf, Ming Li imagined the gigantic crystal leaf he saw. He wanted to create something enormous and powerful like the leaf he saw. He thought of using the gigantic crystal leaf and crushing it at the center of the black spider guild, where it exploded with unimaginable energy that swept the whole guild into nothingness. Ming Li's craze for creating something extremely destructive slowly showed in his eyes. His face turned a bit maniacal as his hands moved at faster speed. The two old man got a bad feeling coming from Ming Li but they didn't think of it much since it was normal for someone to show different emotions while creating a crystal leaf. Not even thirty breaths of time, a single plant formed at the center of the symbol. Ming Li stepped forwards then plucked a leaf from the plant which made the plant suddenly wither, then the leaf in Ming Li's hand slowly crystallized to create a crystal leaf! Everyone was silent, they were not sure if the thing Ming Li created would be something that could allow him to pass, but everyone clearly has high expectations. Since he was the first one to use all of the 100 plants to create a crystal leaf. No one in all of the past exams did someone use all of the 100 to pass the test. In reality, it is not extremely hard to create a crystal leaf from all of the 100 plants, but it would be close to impossible to create something that would allow anyone to pass by randomly mixing 100 plants which he just saw in a couple of breaths to create something with great quality. After creation of the crystal leaf, a strong force from the altar pulled the crystal leaf from Ming Li's hands. The crystal leaf landed on the altar then it floated there surrounded by a clear barrier. When the barrier was fully formed. The crystal leaf started to crack then it exploded with unimaginable destructive force. The barrier trembled and even the altar slightly moved. An illusory flower suddenly materialized behind the altar as it bloomed with fifteen petals. Everyone went into uproar. "Fifteen petals! That is the most I have seen!" "He is way above Chao Fuhua in his mastery of the art!" "I think the current passing mark is five petals, he actually created fifteen!!" Duan Ho and Yu Lan was dumbfounded by Ming Li's show of talent.
