In the town, Ming Li looked around for some herbs and plants. He wanted to purchase the necessary plants to create the pill. During his ten days of observing the pill, he fully understood the composition of the pill and the process to create it. Even though he does not know the name of the pill, he was seventy percent sure he could re create it. From his observations, he realized how valuable the pill was, and decided to create it as soon as possible. His biggest problem right now are not the rare herbs necessary for the pill, It is again his lack of soul ores. He spent 500 thousand soul ores just to observe the pill. Even thought those soul ores are from Ru Gao, he still felt the impact of spending too much soul ores for only the information about the pill. Also, he has always been running low on soul ores ever since he started using it to buy demon's grace. There are twenty days left to create the pill if he wish to receive the reward. Sadly, hunting for herbs isn't an option, so he was left with the choice of earning soul ores first to buy the necessary herbs. Since he had no way to earn so much soul ores in just a few days, he sat silently on a corner with a dazed expression. He still have his divine nature's dew, however it wont be enough to gain the necessary funds needed to create the pill. Moments later, he sighed and said "I guess there's no choice but to do that huh." .... He directly went back to the shop and looked for an elder of the Ten Great Merchants Union. Everyone instantly recognized him, since he have caused a scene at the shop earlier. However they did not allow him to meet with any elder. He continued to persuade the guards and the shop keeper that he knows the formula for the pill and he can surely create it. All he needed to do was to talk to one of the elder of the union. Ming Li stayed outside the shop for the whole night and didn't move from his position. One elder inside noticed him and gave him a cold harrumph "If he knows how to create the pill, then he should just show us the completed pill." Many people have said the same thing as Ming Li in the past couple of years , most of them showed more promise than him, however all of them failed to re create the pill. Ming Li kept shouting outside the shop that he would create the pill if only the shop gives him enough supply of the plants needed for the concoction. The elders inside heard his statement, however none of them gave him much attention. Soon morning came, and Ming Li became pissed off by the fact that he was being ignored. If not for the reward and his curiosity, he would not beg the union for some herbs. "So that's how you will play this huh." Ming Li thought with an evil grin on his face. When the guards was about to ask Ming Li to leave, they failed to find him. He was already gone and no one can tell where he went. .... After a few hours, Ming Li came back with a banner saying "Information on the pill for soul ores!". Below the banner were a list of prices for the information. He claimed that every small information will help in the enlightenment of the pill. The more expensive information will give better benefits on understanding the pill. Many people saw the banner since Ming Li sat near the shop of the Ten Great Merchants Union. Most people instantly recognized Ming Li and were a bit curious if his information was real. Some people gathered around him, and were observing if someone will dare to risk some soul ores for the information. One man with sinister look suddenly stepped out from the crowd and threw a small cube "I'll buy the cheapest information, If I don't gain enlightenment I will rip you to shreds!" Everyone felt the murderous aura from the man which caused them to backup one step. However, Ming Li casually grabbed the cube and smiled. "Dear customer, I will assure you that you will gain a bit of understanding regarding the pill. You can have your soul ores back if I am lying." Ming Li then transmitted a small detail regarding the pill to the man. The man's eyes instantly went wide when he got the information. He rushed to the line heading of the pill, then started studying the pill. He eyes gleamed with a bit of understanding, and his aura changed into something profound. When the shop keepers and the people around saw this, they were shocked. A bit of information from Ming Li caused an immediate enlightenment of the man. Another man hurriedly paid Ming Li the necessary amount and got the information. He then had the similar expression as the first man and headed directly to the pill. The people who were hesitant about paying such a high amount for a small information were getting a bit excited to try Ming Li's offer. The reward for completing the pill is so great, that spending a bit of soul ore would't be much of a waste. Around five people already bought information from Ming Li and all of them gained a bit of enlightenment, three people even came back and paid a higher amount to gain another information. As expected, the first person who came to Ming Li did not come back, He was an accomplice of Ming Li wasn't really an alchemist, however even he was shocked that Ming Li actually have the information regarding the pill. The shop keeper gaped in astonishment as one after another, people started to slowly gain enlightenment of the pill. The shop keeper didn't hesitate to rush to the higher floors to ask the advise of the elders regarding this matter. If many people were able to re create the pill at the same day, the Ten Great Merchants Union would be forced to give each and everyone of those alchemist the right to chose an item from their Holy Inventory. Rewarding so many people would be a great loss for the Union, so the elders were startled from the sudden change in events. They stared outside and saw Ming Li continuously giving out information regarding the pill, One elder became furious of what's happening and was ready to bash the wall open and drag Ming Li away. When the elder was about to act, a voice resounded the whole room "Elder Han go to that boy and buy his most expensive information. If the information is something good, invite him to speak with me." Elder Han saluted and suddenly vanished. He reappeared near Ming Li and threw a cube "Young Man, I would like to buy the most expensive information you offer." Ming Li was calm and didn't have a change in expression. He expected that the Ten Great Merchants Union would act before more people could gain enlightenment regarding the pill. The Ten Great Union only wished to have the pill recreated, and they would surely buy the formula for the pill on the person who recreates it. They are merchants, so instead of paying hundreds of people, they would be willing to pay only one person to get what they need. Ming Li checked the cube, his eyes sparkled and immediately and transmitted the information to Elder Han. While receiving the information, Elder Han's eyes slowly went wide and his lips shivered. Being an elder of the union and having seen the pill several times, he was sure that the information is strongly related to the pill. He started to get deep understanding just by receiving the small information. He was one of the elders who decided to ignore Ming Li earlier, but now he felt that they were wrong to ignore him. When he received all the information, he nodded and said "We invite you to join us inside and talk more about the pill." Ming Li's expression didn't change, however deep inside he was excited that his plan succeeded. Although, he was a bit hesitant since he was gaining a nice profit, and he wanted to gain more before handing out the information to the Ten Great Merchant Union. On the other hand, Elder Han deeply stared at him, which caused Ming Li to abandon his idea of stalling and gaining more soul ores. The loss of opportunity to earn more pained him, however causing trouble for the Ten Great Merchants Union would do him no good. So he decided to obediently follow the elder inside the shop. Elder Han went inside the shop first and asked Ming Li to wait at the first floor. Elder Han appeared at the floor where the elders are gathered and said "Great Elder Gu, the information is real, however I am not sure if he can truly recreate the pill." Great Elder Gu's face was solemn as he said "Let him in." Ming Li was taken inside the room where he saw five elders of the Union. He was amazed by the aura every single one of them is emitting. He cannot tell how strong they are, but he was sure that they are strong enough to kill him with a single strike. "Greetings Elders! I am Ming Li and I have fully understood the pill and wish to recreate it. However I am lacking the items needed for its concoction." Great Elder Gu raised his hand and a medallion appeared in front of Ming Li, he then said "Use that medallion and ask for the shop keeper for the items you need. That medallion represents my will, so they will fully assist you with anything you need." Ming Li could't help but show a bit of joy when he held the medallion. He hurriedly bowed to the Great Elder and to all of the Elders in the room. Some of the elders view of him changed a bit when he acted respectful towards them. Elder Han smiled and said "Ming Li, you can now start recreating the pill. Use the medallion to inform us if you finished the pill. Also please keep in mind that the shop keeper is always there to assist you."
