That was his second kill. He didn't feel much comfortable killing the second time, but he accepted it easier compared to the first. Again he picked up the cube of the man and felt someone closing in. "Another one?"

Ming Li felt that the person closing in was stronger than him. Ming Li estimated that he is probably at the ninth level. The man appeared from the trees and stood in front of Ming Li. He arrogantly stood infront of Ming Li with his defenses down and said "So you killed my buddy, he was weak to begin with. Haha." This man didn't care much about Ming Li. He held a pearl in his hands while saying a bunch of conceited words meant to belittle Ming Li. Ming Li didn't listen to the man at all, instead he eyed the pearl on his hands. The man walked casually towards Ming Li trying to intimidate him. Obviously the man wasn't even considering Ming Li worthy enough to be his opponent. It was at this moment that Ming Li pointed at the man and said "Torment". The man felt the danger in the attack however he was too close to dodge it. When he was affected by torment, he lost all his strength for a moment, and Ming Li crushed a crystal leaf making his head explode. He didn't even knew how he died as blood spilled out of his neck. Ming Li picked up the pearl and the man's cube as he smiled calmly. The pearl was a type of magical item used to signal allies with their location. Ming Li understood that these guys planned to use the pearl when someone found him. However because of his weak appearance no one bothered to use it. After the battle, Ming Li captured a low level blue eyed falcon and used natural energy to merge the pearl into the falcon's body. Along with the pearl, he attached a crystal leaf with it. Ming Li nicked the crystal leaf and made the blue eyed falcon fly away. After a bit, he went at the opposite direction were the falcon flew. The crystal leaf Ming Li attached to the pearl is some form of energy attack. By creating a small nick on the crystal leaf he made it into some sort of time bomb. Being simple at it may seem, this is the only thing he can think of to delay his enemies. However, Ming Li doesn't know when it will explode. So he rushed as fast as he could on the opposite direction trying to flee. After half an hour the crystal leaf attached to the falcon suddenly blew up causing the pearl to crack and crumble. This was immediately transmitted to the group searching for MIng Li. "So someone found him, but that place is too far from here!" Everyone dashed at the direction of the crushed pearl. Ming Li didn't know if the crystal leaf already self destructed, so he continued fleeing nonstop. It took about an hour for three people to arrive at the location of the signal from the pearl. Their faces grew dim when they saw the dead falcon with traces of the pearl. "He escaped again!" The eldest man said "It is impossible to find him now, issue a signal to regroup!" Rong Gao said. Rong Gao is the brother of Ru Goa whom Ming Li just killed. The members of the black spider guild regrouped near the outskirt of the town. After waiting for more than three hours Ru Goa and two other member did not return. Rong Gao was furious, so they searched the mountain to look for traces of the missing guild members. After 3 hours they found the body of Ru Gao with his head blown up. Everyone's face became gloomy, Rong Gao rushed to the corpse and wept. "Brother! How did you end up like this!" Chilling killing intent radiated in Rong Gao's body. "I will make that brat suffer!"

Meanwhile Ming Li settled down on a rock shelter and inspected all the cubes he got. He got a total of three cubes, He used his consciousness to check the cubes and found out that all of them have 5 square meter storage space. It wasn't as good as his cube but he thought that it could be useful someday. Having many storage is always a good thing for Ming Li, since he collects a lot of plants which occupies most of the space in his cube. He even threw out all the food in his cube to accomodate more space for plants, since he decided to rely on pills for nutrition. He checked everything inside the cubes. The first cube contained 20 thousand soul ores, some random weapons and low grade pills. The second cube contained 30 thousand soul ores, some magical items and weapons. The third cube which belonged to Ru Gao contained 500 thousand soul ores, swords, mid grade pills and some books. Ming Li didn't find anything interesting except for some books and the soul ores, he was a bit impressed of the amount of soul ores on Ru Gao's possession, however he didn't think much about it since he had more soul ores than that. Ming Li opened one book and realized that it was the skill which Ru Gao used against him. The skill was a form of heat control skill. Ru Gao used the skill to increase the heat of his sword and enhance its piercing ability. Ming Li doesn't have any proficiency in using a sword, so he kept the book for now and decided to find a way to learn it without a weapon. Since he has the blue orb inside him, he would maximize its ability and would stick to natural energy control related abilities. He then opened several books and only one got his interest. It was a book focused on the details of being a seeker. Even though he read a lot of books in the flame dragon village, he was still lacking in knowledge regarding being a seeker. He slowly read the book page by page trying to fully understand its content. "So to step into the body tempering realm I need to establish my purpose and what I truly seek. My determination in the pursuit of what I seek will allow me to shed my mortal self and become a true seeker!" Ming Li felt enlightened by the knowledge he got from the book. The book seems to be written by a seeker as a guide for his disciple, since many people gets stuck in the beginners realm and fails to advance as a seeker. Simple as it may seem, however many people cannot truly grasp their purpose in life. With too many worldly desires, mortals fail to identify the thing they seek the most. Ming Li stared in daze at a deer not far away. The deer was walking around the forest, occasionally eating grass and enjoying the fresh water in the nearby stream, however even though the deer acts like it lives in this part of the forest, it doesn't seem to originate from there. It was like it just settled there since there are a good amount of resources in the area. After some time Ming Li was startled when a wolf suddenly attacked the deer and bit its neck causing it to die instantly. "I am already at the eighth level of beginners realm, however I am still unsure of what I truly seek. Mortals do have unimaginable amount of desire which makes us fail into determining what we want the most, in the end it hinders us from achieving greatness. Just like the deer who wished to cross this dense forest but lost it's purpose along the way, because it found a good habitat to live in, it became confused of what it really wanted to do. In the end it died without achiving his initial desire." Ming Li sighed and stood up to continue his escape.

His persuers also completely lost track of him and decided to give up for the time being. They never expected that a single person could cause numerous deaths in their ranks.
