Xi Nan stretched her arms pointing on Ming Li's forehead and a blue marble light appeared on her fingers which entered Ming Li's forehead directly entering his core. Xi Fan was shocked on the actions of her young lady and he asked "Young lady why did you give him that?" The girl ignored Xi Fan and said "Senior Chao, will this be enough as primary payment for your assistance?" Chao Shi nodded "Young Xi that is more than enough payment" "What was that!?" Ming Li asked in astonishment. "Ming Li, you will understand it when the time comes, Senior we will now bid our farewell" Xi Fan said in a serious tone. Chao Shi nodded and the two figure blurred then completely disappeared. Ming Li stared in shock again, because crazy things keep happening so fast he has no time to react to anything. When he came to his senses, Chao Shi was already walking far from him going in the direction of the nearby Village. "Hey slow down and wait for me! I haven't slept. I'm so tired" Ming Li shouted. "Hoho, how can you repay me if you're acting like a wimp. Use what you learned to cope up with your lack of sleep". Ming Li Glanced at several plants while walking and he was shocked, because it was like he instantly knew the basic composition and uses of all the plants he see. "Wow this is like a cheat! I don't even need to study for years to know these plants. Also I can't believe such common plants can have so many uses!" He picked many plants along the way. He also ate some of them, combined some herbal extract and drank them. Ming Li felt refreshed after consuming various herbs. "Seems like you're more lively than usual. Since you are full of energy, you will cure the citizens here of the poison plaguing the entire village. You already have all the basics. All you need is practice and a little guidance" Chao Shi talked with Ming Li and taught him some basic methods to detect illnesses while walking heading to the village. ... Village Entrance: Flame Dragon Village The village doesn't seem to have any guard at the entrance, so they directly entered the village. They glanced around the village and saw a lot of sick people. The village is quite large and seems rich with a lot of establishment, but the streets only have a few merchants. At the center of the village stood a statue of a dragon. The statue was carved in stone, but you can feel the might of a real dragon when you look at it closely. While looking around for some time, Ming Li said "This village have a mighty dragon as an icon, but the people here seem weak and sick. It's like the whole place is dying." "The plague here has spread for years and seems like the residents has no cure for this." Chao Shi explained and he pointed at an old man sitting on a bench not far away, then said "Ming Li, try healing that old man over there." "Me? Heal someone? I'm not a doctor I just know some random herbs." Ming Li said in an uninterested tone. Chao Shi stood beside him and held his shoulder with one hand "Curing every sort of illness is the goal of all doctors, and since this will be your starting point, its better to cure everyone here." Ming Li thought to himself "I guess if I help everyone here I'll get some sort of reward. This old guy will be my first experimental subject." Ming Li thought while evilly laughing in his mind, he then turned and walked towards the sick old man who wears a normal grey robe and said. "Senior I am a Ming Li and I wish to cure your illness." The old man stared at him blankly and laughed loudly then end up coughing "Boy, so you want to play doctor? Come this uncle will play with you." Ming Li got a little pissed since he never liked to be treated like a kid. Since he was small he was smarter than most kids his age even though he knew that he lacks talent. With his lack of talent he is even at the lowest level of strength at the age of thirteen. Even though he got pissed, he still kept his cool then asked "Senior may I know your name?" "I am called Wan Long." The old man said with smile. He then placed his hands on the old man's pulse, he injected his energy on the old man's body by copying what Chao Shi taught him along the way. Chao Shi did not teach him anything complicated, what he taught him was just how to circulate his energy and feel other person's vessels to find out if something is wrong with his vessels and organs. Upon finishing, he retracted his energy and sweats filled his forehead. His energy was too minuscule to be circulated on someones body. So he was mentally strained with just a simple diagnosis. "Senior Wan, do you often sit here on this spot?" "Yes.. Why?" Wan Long smiled "Senior Wan I will look for you here after a month when the third sun is at its peak. In the coming days I will create a pill to cure you." without waiting for a response Ming Li left. While walking fast, Ming Li came to a secluded alley and thought to himself "What did I get myself into, His organs and veins are deteriorating, also his energy core is unstable. Some ideas pops into my head by using my knowledge in various medical herbs, but where do I even get these herbs. Maybe I should just pretend I was just playing around and forget everything.... yes.. I will do that." "Are you thinking of giving up?" Chao Shi suddenly appeared beside him. "No, of course not!" Ming Li arrogantly raised his chest. "Are you thinking of asking me for herbs? Chao Shi said with a smirk. "Damn this old man is such a smart ass." Ming Li thought. "Since you promised to heal your first patient, you need to look for all the required herbs. I believe all these herbs are present within the nearby forest, some are rare but you can find them if you try hard. Also since it is highly possible that you will fight with random monsters you will need these. Take these three scroll and study them. It will be useful. Also take this furnace and use it for training. Then I will see you when you come back" Chao Shi Slowly disappeared while talking and only his words could be heard until it faded. "So how do I use these scrolls to fight with monsters? I hope this is a cheat like the previous book" Ming Li sat at a corner crossed legged and opened one of the scroll. Written on the top part of the scroll is 'Water Cannon' "I think this some sort of skill, So the old man is some sort of expert but this skill is so lame. I've seen kids play with this. Nevermind, let's just look at the two remaining scrolls." 'Water Barrier' and 'Water Healing' "Oh seems like this heal is something unique." "Hmm.. I'll Study the attack skill first." After five hours.. "What!? why is my water cannon so small!?" With depressed and shocked look he thought "Maybe I'm really useless and can't achieve anything in this lifetime. What the hell did I do in my previous life to receive such fate." "No I will not give in to fate. Come on little water ball grow bigger!" Ming Li persisted for one whole day until all his energy is depleted. Upon depletion of his energy, something deep within his core sparked and circulated an energy far richer than what he previously had. Also he suddenly have a clearer perception of the natural energy surrounding him. The small water ball which is almost invisible became as big as a fist. Ming Li stared at the ball in shock and concentrated to find out what made the ball bigger. His consciousness drifted within his body until he reached his core. He saw a blue glowing orb and he suddenly remembered that this was the orb given by the little lady they met a while ago. "So that orb was something useful after all. I don't know if this is all that It can do, But it did increase my energy significantly" He then retracted his consciousness and looked at the ball again and smiled. "It took me a day to just to create a single orb." I guess I'll continue training till I pass out and hunt in the morning. When the first sun was rising. Ming Li can be seen extracting essence from herbs. Upon securing every ingredient he lit up a fire under his furnace and mixed several herbal essence as he tried to create a pill. After mixing all the essence, he controlled the pill creation with his energy. Quarter an hour passed since he started the pill creation, an explosion occurred. Ming Li was charred black, luckily the furnace that was given to him was durable and didn't even crack. Ming Li continued the process for several hours and he became faster at extracting the essence and mixing the ingredients. On his fifth attempt, extreme heat could be detected on the furnace, humming sounds could be heard and the furnace was glowing brightly. After ten breaths there was a small explosion, but this time a pill went out of the furnace and Ming Li caught the pill. Ming Li smiled wide then clenched his fist as he shouted "Success! I Made my first pill"he was so happy that the shout echoed in the forest. After three breaths, howls could be heard in the forest and steps of monsters could be heard rushing in Ming Li's direction.

Dungeon's Path
The only places I have posted the story and allow it to exist are on RoyalRoad, Scribblehub, and my Patreon. So the world ended. Whoopsie? We didn’t even see it coming. Quite literally as it came at us faster than the speed of light. Don’t worry though, it got better. Also, I am not joking about the world ending. Most people say that and mean humans are inconvenienced for some reason. Nope, all matter disintegrated at the atomic scale there for a few moments. Apparently the local universe wasn’t actually stable? Don’t ask me to go into too much detail. It would require both of us to have a few more college degrees than sense, and I at least lack them (both the degrees and the sense). Anyway, the energy/matter/wibbly wobbly strings were at a local minimum and not the universal minimum. Basically, what we took for sea level was actually a nice little mountain lake and when the dam busted so did, well, everything. Now here is where things go a bit off track with what normal meant before. You see magic is real, qi is real, gods are real. Not on old Earth mind you but souls pay little attention to time and space so we dreamed of it. In fact, the closer the shift in reality got to Earth, the closer our dreams got to the new reality. This is basically me tip toeing around the fact that it was a ‘System Apocalypse’. Reality became a video game, I became a dungeon, and this is my story. Doyle Huxley just wanted a normal life but as the above might clue you in on that just isn’t in the cards. He gets to experience a “Path Based System Apocalypse” and some early paths he takes, both literally and figuratively, lead to him becoming a dungeon. The aim is to release chapters once a week on Friday. Cursing will be avoided and no naughty adult action will take place in the story.

When Ryan Glasser, (an emo kid by heart) kills himself after having a good day at school turn horribly bad, he is forced to stand before his maker for final judgment of his soul. With Ryan Thinking life was just a game he could just end and throw away without any consequences, he is offered a deal to live his next life in a real-life RPG world full of swords, magic, misery, memes, and Mondays with nothing to help him along the way but a magical cellphone full of his music to get by in his afterlife. A real-life RPG you say? That sounds like perfect place to spend eternity! What’s the catch? Well first of all, this “Server” is in a nightmarish beta stage that has two trapped goddesses engaged in an everlasting brutal holy war between each other that has recently turned into a stalemate. Ryan is supposed to kill one of these goddesses somehow. (Technically there is a third goddess, but no one really cares about her) Secondly Ryan can’t die in this world without completing his mission here. If he does, straight to hell he goes. Thirdly, right from the start of spawning into this world, he has an annoying clingy emo/scene cat-dog rogue girl fall in love with him. This would be great in all If Ryan didn’t hate furries. Ryan will realize no matter how hard he tries he just can’t lose this clingy disaster. Forth: Living in an RPG world is great and exhilarating but when the class you choose to roll seems to be just as emo as you are, interesting things are going to happen. You better hold on tight; destiny holds in store for Ryan a Twisted Romance, tons of betrayal, a life full of dark twists and turns, and an adventure that will make or break him in this strange new world. Welcome to Lectioterra Adventurer! (Please DO NOT buff the Raid boss) (Please note i am quite aware that book one was written with quite a few thousand errors. I took a break from writing for ten years and had to relearn a lot of things. I learned quite a lot from writing 100+ chapters so far. I will go back and edit book one’s chapters after I get book two finished. If you all want to point out the errors in the earlier chapters I will gladly edit those things ASAP)
