My name is Nakashima Kaoru I am currently a second year in high school. I am well known throughout the school as part of the sporty group. I currently do Kendo and Karate. Leaving the dojo I head to the changing rooms. Once I enter I look in the mirror at myself. I have short brown hair and brown eyes. I am about six feet tall and have a muscular body from the sports that I do.

Once I have changed I leave the changing rooms and head towards the school entrance to go home. Waiting at the school gates is my childhood friend I and all her friends call her Katya but her full name is Kapustova Ekaterina Aleksandrovna. She is Russian she moved to Japan when she was five years old. She has long blond hair and blue eyes. She is also known for being in the sporty group. She does tessenjutsu and naginatajutsu. She like me also has a muscular body.

“Hello Kaoru-kun.”(Katya)

“Hello Katya-chan.”(Kaoru)

“Are you ready to go home?”(Katya)

“Yes, let's go.”(Kaoru)

We both walk home together as we both live close to each other. We have been doing this almost since we first became friends. The walk home isn’t very long but it is one of the few parts of a school day that I enjoy.

As we are walking home a fox walks in front of us.

“Why is there a fox here>”(Kaoru)

“Maybe it’s lost but isn’t it too big to be a fox.”(Katya)

She’s right it looks to be about twice the size of a normal fox. It stops in front of us and looks at us.

“Is it looking at us?”(Katya)

“It might be. It feels like it is examining us to see if we are good enough.”(Kaoru)

The fox looks at us for another few seconds it then walks towards us. We take a few steps back and we prepare to run however the fox stops and then its eyes start glowing gold. We try to run but we cant something is stopping us from leaving.

“Mortals do you wish to be hero’s, to be strong?”(Fox)

The fox spoke?

“What do you mean hero?”(Kaoru)

Do you wish to travel to another world to become a hero and help them overcome their problems and be loved by the people?”(Fox)

“Do you mean like in those mangas?”(Katya)

“You can think of it like that.”(Fox)

Katya immediately eagerly responds.

“YES.”(Katya)

She has always loved those stories of being a hero who travels to another world to save it.

“Very well then.”(Fox)

The fox leaves and light starts to form around us.

“WAIT I DIDN’T AGREE TO THIS.”(Kaoru)

Before I can protest the light envelopes us and we are now surrounded by white light. I look around at my surroundings but all I see is white except another light. There is a large golden light which in the centre there is the outline of a person.

“Hello, young ones and welcome to the start of your new life.”(?)

The person in the light speaks in a gentle female voice.

“Where are we?”(Kaoru)

“You are in my divine realm.”(?)

“Are you the goddess of the world we are going to be hero’s in?”(Katya)

“That is correct young Katya. You have been summoned to my world to help them”(?)

“goddess please may we know your name?”(Kaoru)

“Oh yes how forgetful of me. I am the primordial goddess of creation Ziella.”(Ziella)

“Goddess Ziella will we have anything to help us in this world?”(Katya)

“Yes, I will give you both new better bodies that will be able to withstand your new powers. Both of you will have to find and convince my younger sisters to give you their blessing so that you can use the magic of either water, nature, earth or wind. If you are very lucky and can convince all of them you might be able to use the power of fire. To use this power, you will have to pray to them. Someone will explain the details to you later.”(Ziella)

“Why should I have to pray to use the power of someone I have never heard of. Also, why should I even help this world I didn’t agree to come here. I will not do as you tell me to I will make my way in this world without having to bow down to someone else.”Kaoru)

“Young Katya here agreed for both of you and why wouldn’t you want to pray to my three in every way perfect sisters.”(Ziella)

“Why does Katya agreeing apply to both of us? Your sisters probably aren’t perfect because no one is not even the gods.”(Kaoru)

“Because Katya is cute and you aren’t. Normally each person getting summoned gets to choose but in this case, Katya got an extra vote because of her cuteness but that vote had to come from somewhere so I gave her yours.”(Ziella)

“What that doesn’t make sense.”(Kaoru)

“It does for me and my sisters.”(Ziella)

“Then you and your sisters are all idiots for basing everything on cuteness.”(Kaoru)

After I say this I feel immense pressure around me.

Katya comes running forward and kneels.

“Goddess Ziella he is sorry for what he said he didn’t mean it. I am sure that you and your divine sisters are all very intelligent more so than any mortal that has ever lived.”(Katya)

“Katya what are you talking about we can't let her control us.”(Kaoru)

“Kaoru you cant just offend the most powerful person in this world who can erase us from existence. You also know that I have wanted something like this all my life don’t ruin it for me.”(Katya)

“I like you young Katya I will give you an extra gift personally from me. Do you like being human young Katya?”(Ziella)

“I’m not particularly attached to being human.”(Katya)

“Good and do you like foxes?”(Ziella)

“They are not my favourite animal but I don’t dislike them.”(Katya)

“Good that’s very good. I was originally going to strengthen your bodies but I will now give you a much better body.”(Ziella)

“Thank you goddess Ziella.”(Katya)

Although I can’t see her I can tell she looks towards me.

“Now for you, as you have insulted my sisters I will tell my sisters to never give you their blessings of magic. I also have an idea for your new body.”(Ziella)

“I only slightly insulted them nothing serious.”(Kaoru)

“In my world, the worst crime against nature you can commit is insulting my sisters even in passing or as a joke.”(Ziella)

How can this be is a she a siscon? I look towards Katya for help.

“I’m sorry Kaoru I would love to help you but you have brought this upon yourself.”(Katya)

“Now then its time for you both to go to your new lives. Katya if you ever need any help find the oldest of my younger sisters she will be able to help you the most.”(Ziella)

The white light once again envelopes us.

When the light dissipates I see that we are in a large well-decorated room. Looking around I only see one other in the room with me. She has a humanoid shape but she has four arms, fox ears and a foxtail. She stands at what has to be at least seven feet tall. Her hair is the colour of fox fur and her eyes are light grey.

I walk up to her. If she is seven feet tall she should only be a foot taller than I am but she looks about two feet taller than I am maybe three.

“Hello miss”(Kaoru)

She turns to look at me.

“Yes?”(Fox girl)

“Who are you my name is Kaoru.”(Kaoru)

She looks surprised at what I just said.

“Kaoru is that you. I know I look different but I’m Katya. I’m a Kitsune now.”(Katya)

Katya became a kitsune. This must be the goddess’s gift.

“How do you know that you are a Kitsune?”(Kaoru)

“I looked at my status.”(Katya)

I stare at the screen in disbelief. How did I become a girl? Did the goddess do this to me? I look around for a mirror finding one in the corner of the room. Running over to it I look at my new body. I have grey eyes like Katya, long ears and long dark purple and blue hair. I am wearing a black and white maid uniform. I stare at myself for a few minutes not believing what I see. I eventually recompose myself and look at my skills again. I can guess what most of them mean but not the skill [obedient and loyal] what does this one mean?
