Southern Lands (Demon Kingdom)
----------???’s POV----------
*Snap* *Sigh*
[Me] “I swear… this bucket is too fragile.”
I look over at my now broken bucket. It is made of pure steel, and probably weighs about 10 pound without any water. It is one of my more light and delicate things. How did it break? Simple. I smashed in a demonic boar's head in with it.
[Marly] “Chirp. Chirp.”
[Me] “Yeah, yeah. The darn thing got in my way though.”
[Marly] “Chirp.”
[Me] “Shut up. What do you know? You're just a bird! ...Wait… why am I talking to a bird anyways???”
Shrugging it off, I take up the pieces of my broken bucket and head back to my cabin. As I was heading back Marly, can’t remember why I ever named a bird, landed on my one good horn. My other horn was broken off in the last serious battle I took part in. The cabin nears my view and then suddenly I see a bright light tumbling down towards my humble home...fastly.
[Me] “Nononononononononono… Wind Barrier!!!”
As the object bounces off my sheil it travels at high speed towards the forest. It mows down a few trees before coming to a complete stop.
[Me] “Fufufu… if I had been just a little more late that could have been a disastrous mess to clean up!!!”
If the object had reached my cabin then it would have shattered and lodged it’s pieces all over the surrounding and into the trees! The poor trees would not have handled it!! As I am stroking my short beard it occurs to me that my action has also cause some trees deaths. Oh well~
...I wonder what was traveling at high speeds towards my home anyway. I take a few steps and travel at high speed right in front of the object.
[Me] “...”
What… WHAT IN THE DEVIL'S NAME IS THIS!?!?!? Right in front of me is a cute little demon with pitch black hair and horns. She has slightly pale skin and is somehow still alive. I guess I should have checked to see if the object was a living being… but seriously.. How does someone that young survive that?!?! Even with her multiple injuries she still breaths… Fufufu it would be fun to train her… a malice grin appears upon my face as my eyes brighten at the sight of my new toy.

……….A few moments earlier……….
---------Luna’s POV----------
[Me] “Why… why won't you go AWAY?!”
I am currently fighting a demonic flame hawk… in the sky. Due to using my mana to fly so that I don’t have to go around the large forest I am running slightly low on mana. I enhanced my sword with mana once again and started to go on the offensive. I have long since went to my demonic form in order just to keep up with this beast. I feel a claw strike my cheek and it pushes me back a few feet. Tch. I need to finish this soon. I already know I can’t win, this is a tier 18 beast and is considered a descendant of the phoenix. Ironic isn't it?
A fire blast scorches my backside and I cough up a mouthful of blood. Wiping my mouth, I hold my sword in an defensive matter. I use my swords to protect my body from too much harm from the talons and beak of the beast while I use my mana to cast spells to attack the beast. I get a couple more scratches and suddenly feel faint. I become drowsy and before I pass out I throw my sword at the best while boosting it with my wind. I smirk as it hits the demonic flame hawk’s eye and then my vision goes black. The last thing going through my mind is ‘...I was still in the air’.
……….A little later……….
[Me] “Mmmm”
I open my blurry eyes and clear them. Looking down at myself I notice that my body has healed from most of my injuries. It also did not escape my notice as to how I am in a foreign room, nor how I suddenly have a mana limiter on my neck sporting the look of a collar.
[?] “Ahh… so you have awakened.”
I look to my left and see an elderly-looking demon. He have white hair and one of his horns seem to be broken in half. He also had a pointy tail coming from his backside His tail was thin until the tip which was shaped like an arrow head.

[Me] “Who are you, where is this, and why has there been a mana limiter placed on me?”
[?] “Fufufu, calm down child. I am Sage Kenja, and you are in my humble home. The reason I have placed a mana limiter on you is because I have taken you as my disciple.”
[Me] “I have not accepted anyone as my teacher, and how does a mana limiter equal your disciple?!”
[Sage Kenja] “The first thing we are focusing on is your physical strength, and that matters as much as your tier.”
[Me] “I HAVE NOT ACCEPTED A TEACHER.”
[Sage Kenja] “Also, I would not recommend trying to escape or else…”
[Me] “... you're insane”
[Sae Kenja] “Your training has already begun.”
[Me] “...”
*Grumble*
[Sage Kenja] “Fufufu… it seems as if my disciple is hungry. Come, we will eat!”
Knowing that I am unable to fight back or even escape if I tried I just decided to follow him.
[Sage Kenja] “Oh, and I would recommend getting changed into that pair of clothes”
He walked out and closed the door behind him. I look down upon myself and notice that although my body healed, my clothes had no such feature… they were in ribbons, bloody ones at that. I take them off and inspect my new clothing. They were extremely heavy and I about fell over while holding them. Just what were they made of?! I painstakingly put them on and am still surprisingly standing. Is he trying to kill me?!
I walk towards the door and each step causes my feet to wobble. I am not weak, in fact I can actually be considered somewhat strong, but this me me feel as if I were more feeble than a normal rabbit. As soon as I reached the door I twisted the handle and pulled… and pulled… and pulled. Even in my weakened state I should be strong enough to open a simple door… unless… this door was like the clothes. Crud.
*Grumble*
[Me] “SAGE KENJA! I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU SO KINDLY OPENED THE DOOR!!!”
I then see the door opening and Sage Kenja looked at me as if amused.
[Sage Kenja] “Fumu? Are you too weak to open a simple door?”
[Me] “That door is not simple”
[Sage Kenja] “Well it is a tad heavier than normal doors…”
[Me] “A tad?”
[Sage Kenja] “It's only a few tons *Cough* ...a few pounds extra”
[Me] “...”
[Sage Kenja] “...anyway come and eat.”
I followed him into his dining room and went to my chair. After a couple trys of trying to pull out the chair I gave a pointed look at Sage Kenja.
[Sage Kenja] “Fine… *Sigh* youngsters can't do anything themselves these days”
Nonetheless he got up and pulled out my chair for me. I sat down and struggled with the spoon. How does a spoon weigh so much?! I manage to hold it, and I used it to drink my soup. When I was finished eating I went directly to bed, ignoring the sage’s protests about having me help out with the dishes. I could barely manage the spoon, what makes you think I can manage the bowl, or even the pot for that matter?!
*Sigh*
So this is what he meant by my training has already started...I REALLY hope that I can survive this.

Author’s Note:
Just some extra information in case you are curious. Demons do not have demonic cores, only demonic beasts do. Also, demons have no problems killing demonic beasts since they are two entirely different races. Just a little fun fact in case you were confused!
