Tyler looks at me with the most serious look I’ve ever seen him have. “You mean I get to cast spells?” Tyler says with palpable excitement.

“Well, there is one requirement for it. You probably know what it is. You can’t learn spells from skill pages. You have to make one before your second evolution.” I say matching his serious look.

Tyler lets out a sigh and slouches in his seat. “I was really hoping you had a way around that,” Tyler said while seeming like he had given up.

“Do you not know how good I am at making spells. Dude, I made a tier 5 spell. Teaching you how to make a light spell or something should be easy.” I say trying to cheer him back up.

“You made a tier 5 spell! Those are just theories right now. What did it do?” Tyler asks, Passion reinvigorated.

“Well, as you can guess it was a curse. It was my answer to the core problem with cursers, the number of curses you can place at a time. I called it {Pestilence}.” I stop talking as a system window pops up in my face.

It all made sense now. Why there was no curse or hex spells past the 3rd tier. They just weren’t made yet. The system probably only made them up to the 3rd tier and it copied the skills made by people who could make, as it called it, penultimate skills and try and tried to share them.

I tried to wrap my head around what just happened as Tyler tried to get my attention. I already had a really good bloodline that increased my mana by 1.5 times. What did it mean by it changed it? I could only hope it would be better. There still was a long time till I could awaken my bloodline as the way to do so wouldn’t be available until the 46th floor. My bloodline didn’t give me an effect until I unlocked it, but I’ve heard of it happing before where they got a small portion of the full effect.
