《Football System》Finally here!

Another day another dollar! I woke up revitalized because of our good talk with my mother last night.
I woke up, dressed up for school and went to the Thompsons house. This time Robert opened the door, he stared at me for about one minute and then left the door opened and sat again in his usual chair.
I excitedly went to have breakfast and had a warm greeting even with a hug from Rachael. I told her all the details I remembered from the last night conversation and she was beaming with joy.
She called me like I was behaving like a grown-up man now, taking responsibilities for his actions. That made me proud, no one ever told me something like that before.
As I was leaving I looked at the back of Robert and said "Thanks for your advice Mr. Thompson, you are a really great person!" and made a quick rush to hug his neck and rushed out of the house.
I was so embarrassed, but that was the least I could do to someone who understood the situation way better than me.
....
Rachael saw all this and went to his husband and said "Here honey, clean with this tissue"
Robert grabbed the tissue and said "Damn kid! Bringing dust to my eyes from outside!"
Rachael only smiled and went back to his garden while humming and started talking to her plants as usual, but this time the topic was the silly soft husband that she has.
...
That week at school I couldn't concentrate. Why was that? Because I was counting the days to the quarter-finals to the Champions League. It was 8 days away! I decided to concentrate on my defense on the recess matches because I could only do that with other people. On my obstacle course, I could train all of the other aspects of my .
Also, I keep going to Arnold, the old newspaper post where we would gift me the old newspaper from yesterday, the sports section. My wall was full of Ronaldo Pictures, I was really a fan of him. Messi didn't have a lot of publicity yet, so I began to slowly increase content about him but not enough to fill even a drawer.

I already told my mother about the dates of the matches of the quarter-finals so we needed to use our T.V. When I was commenting about I was excited about the matches, Ms. Thompson offer us to watch the matches in their house since their T.V. was bigger and Mr. Thompson was gonna watch it anyway. I asked my mom and after her confirmation, we agreed. She also told me to make a scene if my predictions were incorrect. I agreed and we said yes, I only need to endure this 8 days before the matches.
...
Finally, It was the 8th of April of 2003. Today they were going to play 2 matches. Ajax vs Milan and Real Madrid vs Manchester United. The first match is supposed to end in a 0 - 0 and the second one was supposed to end 3 - 1 in favor of Real Madrid.
I hope that my bet didn't make a big enough butterfly effect to affect the match. I always wondered about that, if people know that one dude is 100% efficient in their bets they will begin to copy him and that could even affect the players if they know a lot of people bet about them winning or loosing. I don't want to bet like that, with my name known and all that jazz. Later when I have more networks for betting I could distribute my bets in several agencies and spread the money to not raise any eyebrows. I wish I could do anonymous bets, or even from a shell company, but the security about bettings are really tight to prevent arranged matches. Of course, that doesn't stop illegal bettings, but at least the legal ones are strickly controlled. I will not go to the shady deals, yes, I could earn a lot more, but my life will be at risk constantly.
Anyway, since we live in the small city of Grandview, Yakima County, Washington and our state was famous for football enthusiast, I guess I could go to a sports bar to see the match. But I really like to see the matches with my mom, like my past life, some customs are nice to have.

And we need to see the matches in the afternoon, it was a good thing that I was already off the school to see the matches. The first one was at 14:30 Ajax vs Milan.
We gather around the bigger tv of Ronald and had all kinds of snacks all around us, but they were healthier options since they were elders and my mother didn't want me to eat junk. Not that I would want, the only thing that is good about that is that is cheap. But it messes up with your body, even some of the food has addictive properties like the Oreos. But is a good thing to have snacks to ease the nerves, I was eating baby carrots like they were popcorn.
My mother laughed and told me to calm down, either way, is only money and this would a lesson for good or bad. We watch the first match, Robert would grumble about how bad some players were and my mother and Rachael mostly talked about others things or asked the same rules of football again and again. Like...what is offside? FML. I was nervous about the result but it was the same boring 0 - 0 as I remember from my last life!
I shouted in joy and hugged my mother and Rachel! I didn't even try to hug Robert because he was annoyed about me making so much noise. The second match was one hour later and we watched a real game, and ended the same way! Even with the same scorers! I was right ! 2 goals from Gonzales and 1 form Figo from the Real Madrid and 1 goal from Manchester from Nistelrooy.
I was on cloud 9, I was ecstatic, it means that in this 2 games I earned a thousand dollars at least. My predictions were 100% accurate! I wish I could see the face of that Old fucking Fat fuck!
I almost screamed that but remember that my mother would beat my ass if I swear, and even more in a guest house! So I kept my mouth shut while running across the house like a madman.
They were amused about my antics and were laughing and clapping, well all except Robert but he was watching with a smirk on his face.
I told my mom "SEE MOM! I TOLD YOU I WAS RIGHT!!" she laughed and told me to calm down that the people around us would think we had an emergency or something like that.
I didn't calm down though, I went to my obstacle course and trained like a mad man for almost 2 of 3 hours before my mom called me for dinner. I was so euphoric that I didn't notice the time when was the last time I was this excited to train? I need to change a routine from time to time it seems. Not for the but for my mental health.
I arrived at the dinner and we had a juicy fried chicken leg with mashpotetoes, one of my favourites! I slowed down and enjoyed my meal. After the dinner and told my mom "Mom! After the Champions League ends we can eat as much chicken, meat, and other expensive meals every day! I promise!" She nodded and told me "Sure sure honey, now help me pick up the table and clean the dishes!"
I did it with enthusiasm while thinking about a good change for my obstacle course, maybe I should ask Robert! He was in the military, he would certainly know a way to train the body, and for the football technique training I could make my own!
That would be the best alternative yet!
After that, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep so I keep filling my with all random training techniques and even matches the results that I forgot. I fall asleep doing that, maybe it could be a routine from now on.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Numbers Continually Going Upward
The world has very politely ended in the most webfiction way possible. Everyone is now leveling up in various things. Problems are arising. Some or all of those problems may be based around how to have a community barbeque when the nearest cow has been teleported to a few thousand miles away, along with the nearest supermarket. Join our protagoinst as he attempts to be a cool person, while everything falls apart. _____It turns out that any attempt to write a parody of the litrpg genre through overuse of the concept of leveling up inevitably fails when it turns out that *that is what the genre is based on*. Still, this was a fun little candy project of mine, and I might write more of it.
