《Football System》Adapting (2)

I will tell you one thing that nobody tells you about when you're 6 years old. You have a tiny bladder that you need to empty quickly. And also your attention span is a lot shorter, I tried to do a research on football players locally on the newspaper and I kept going to the comics sections. For fuck's sake, it seems that my old personality and my current personality are still merging. It was cool if I'm full of adrenaline, but the moment I relax my previous behavior emerges again.
Anyway, I remembered 2 of the biggest dates. The first one is the May 1st of 2005, Messi first goal. And the other one was 1st of November of 2003, Cristiano Ronaldo First goal.
Both of them were arguably the best players of recent times.
My plan was simple, go and meet Ronaldo and Messi. Then befriend them and ultimately playing for the team I choose. I'm inclined to think about Messi because he's more a team player, but Ronaldo played alone simple because no-one was at his same level. What if I reach said level? We could be the best offensive players!
I checked my mission and it was still empty. Cheapskate. I woke up at 9 am, later than expected, it seems that I was too tired yesterday. There was cereal on the table and a note saying that we had milk but not a lot. So I decided to use it all of it and later use water for the rest of the cereals to not waste them.
I cleaned the table and dishes with the help of a chair and began my mental plan. Okay, I need to raise my Stats. This was the help that the voice told me about. So I have to guess that I can increase overall increasing my Stats. Most people don't even get better after a lot of practice. Just like my past self. I guess this will change that.
My plan was to build an obstacle course around the house with the garbage that people throw away. I tried to move a lot of things but mi % of health was getting lower and lower. I didn't want to find out what happens when I reach 0.
After my status went from tired to healthy I began running across my mini obstacle course. It was not a big deal. I just made a zig-zag pattern on the ground and lifted an old tire with a rope tied on the tree. The idea was to put the ball past the tire without touching It.
It was a lot harder than it sounded, believe me. I had yet to adapt on my body and my accuracity was worst, to say the least. I think I broke a pot over there, it was being unused, but I still had to tell my mom about that. I learned and took all the fragile looking thing behind the tree. That alone took me an hour. After a couple of hours and a few stops for water and bathroom I stopped. I was really tired but also didn't want to kill the grow of this body so early. After that, I would usually go to a nearby restaurant and order the same meal since I was alone. They gave me a discount and all for pity, but it was still an expensive cost for my mom. She wanted to cook for me but couldn't because of her work. After I grew up she would leave frozen meals for me to heat up.

I decided to see what I could do. Hmmm, spaghetti doesn't sound too difficult. No sauce though. Handling knives alone will freak out my mom. Okay I slowly cooked myself a meal and I began my research. How can a small 6-year-old kid do a research you think? Easy. Library!
They have free computers to use, and even they can gift me something. I went over there and walked up to the librarian, I remember her, she was a middle age woman named Barbara. I walked up to her and tiptoed to the reception desk and told her:
"Hi, Barbara! I would like to read a few books and use the computer, can I?"
She looked at me shocked and said "How did you know my name, David? Your mother told you?"
Shit, I messed up, I quickly said "Yes! She told me that if I'm bored at home I can come to the library to read! That a pretty miss named Barbara would help me get started!"
She made a wide smile and pull my cheeks while saying "You are such a cute little thing! Of course, you can read all you want, you can't take the books home though you have to have Margaret come and apply for a library card for you! And you can use the computer, but no games. Only education stuff or news! I'm serious!"
Geez, I get it! No fun on the library or else!
I nodded at quickly went to the football section of the library, it was not a big one. This library was from our town, so we only had the minimum material. Why did I need to come here? To have an excuse about the obstacle training and my new ideas for the future training. If I have a solid base I can "come up" with new ideas.
And I would like to check out the current panorama of the European football teams, checking their players, ages and trying to remember something about them.
Like Oliver Kahn the 'Third-Rate Adulterer' happening later this year.
Also, I had to get the mail address of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I won't send them an email, a latter with a messed up letters from a kid has more impact than a formal email.
I remember that I had to check stocks and news to remember if something good is coming back. The only thing I remember is the bitcoin at the start od 2010, it was so long ago.
After 2 hours of reading and 2 hours on the computer I said bye too Barbara and came back to my house 2 blocks away. Our neighborhood is not bad yet, is full of old houses and old people. A few years into the future a gang will move here and made their base of operation 4 blocks away from my house and all the people here will get robbed far more often.

After I came back home I tried to make a rice with some leftover reheated chicken. I added a little of vegetables we had left over and waited for my mother to come.
My mother came back and was shocked to see me writing a book at the table with a hot meal in front of me. She quickly said to me: "Who cooked for you? I told you to not open the door for no one but me!"
I closed my notebook that was filled with scrambled dates and random names. Even if someone looked at them they couldn't get a meaning of all of it. Then I looked at her and said "No Mom! I checked out how you cooked and you always return tired! So I learned how to do a simple cooking! Don't worry I didn't touch any knife!"
She started to cry a little and cleaned quickly her eyes and said "Good! Now go wash your hands while I leave my work uniform upstair and come to eat!"
I nodded and went to leave my notebook on my bedroom and went to wash my hands near the bathroom upstairs and came back down.
She was smiling all dinner so I took the chance and asked "Mom, could you come with me a day at the library? I want to have a library card, but you need to ask it for me! So I can bring books to read at home!"
She stopped eating and looked at me like I was a freak "I told you about going to a library as a joke...Why do you need to go over there anyway? Is dangerous to go and come alone!"
I innocently smiled and said "You told me that if I'm bored I can go over there! I can learn about more football training from the books! Besides I'm a big boy now! But if you come with me one day and take a library card for me I can read at home at night and stay in the library not so late!"
She nodded and said "Okay, I can take a lunch break tomorrow at noon and meet you there. So all the garbage lined up on the backyard was your training?"
I quickly said "Thanks, Mom! You are the best! Yes! That is my obstacle course, I heard something about an 'Agile Ladder' it seems pretty cool! I could make something like that with old ropes of the garbage nearby!"
She worriedly looked at me and said "You need to really careful about moving those things hunny, they are heavy and pointy. Try to move small things until you are at least a few years older. I don't want to come rushing from the hospital to take you there! If I do I will give you a huge shot!"
I looked really scared, I really hated shots! Even when I was older I couldn't look at the needles directly!
I nodded very fast and said "Of course Mom! You are the smarter of the planet! And the best Mom ever! I will only move small things I promise!"
She smiled and we finshed eating I cleaned the table while she cleaned the dishes, then I went to take a quick shower and continued writing in my journal. But I suddenly remember and though about .
Inmmediatly a tiny rectangle appear on my waist that was empty with cursive words on the background saying "Think about what you want to save here, no format of words, and no pictures, but not the lenght restriction. You can make sections"
That was a good thing, I quickly double tap my waist and the blue window expanded to be in front of my face. I made a new section called future football events.
I stayed almost to 12 of the night filling that up.
I order them chronically, tomorrow night I will create a new section about future economic events to invest money wisely.
I closed my eyes tiredly thinking about the day I will have tomorrow.
