《Smith-Knight》Thanks Again For Another Year!
Another year, another round of useless states so I can reflect on how far I've come...Now then to the NUMBERS!
2 Years. And going.
114, 629 views. I've wasted so much of your time.
295 followers, 5 more and we can kind of hold the Hot Gates.
83 favorites. Nice! We more than doubled this last year!
32 ratings for a total of 3.75 out 5, that's a passing grade! Sadly most test scores don't matter unless they're for your health.
75 chapters. When will it end?
391, 058 words, huh? That's about double the entire population of where I live...neat?
To that question, I sort of having an answer! Right now we're in the Side Quest Arc which has gotten way longer than I thought so I'm taking my time with it now. I plan on having it done by either the end of the year or earlier next year.
After that's done, there'll be a short battle heavy arc to show off everyone's power-ups, from there we'll move to an arc focusing of Prince Medraut. Can you guess where I'm going with this? Once the prince has his turn Mordecai (or should I say Lamorak?) and Valac shall enact their plan to take both the Kingdom Of Laudonia and more importantly to the story: Risabeel. Will they succeed, or will our heroes stop them?
More than likely since there's still more story to go! Once the whole taking over a kingdom arc is done, it's time to go to war! Who, what, when, where, and why? Hopefully, I'm able to convey all of the answers throughout the other arcs before it.
Final words! I just want to say thanks for sticking with this story and me. Through all of my grammar mistakes and random/late chapters update, by the way, there's no chapter this week. We'll be back to our regular programming next week...ugh that wasn't a good thing to leave off on...uhm?

Bonus! Character Bios will be coming back! When I went back to edit stuff, I remembered I used to do those and I kind of miss 'em. Once the Side-Quest Arc is done, I'll be doing them again by arcs/groups. As for characters in earlier arcs, I'll get to them in time.
And with that, I'll see all of you Lovely Readers in the next one! Bye!

The Chromagnum's Sacrifice
Seventeen years ago, the Chromagnum fell from the sky. It's impact shattered the world, and brought the society to its knees. As humanity slowly pulled itself together, they realized that the Chromagnum brought with it a poison that corrupted the living. Abominations began cropping up around the crash site. Monsters with powdery black skin, and glowing orange eyes. Monsters who seemed hell-bent on consuming. Destroying everything in their path, the monsters swept eastwards towards the kingdom of Elendial. A war raged. And humanity crumpled. Retreating deep within their strongholds as the land became ruled by the corrupted creatures spawned by the Chromagnum. Then a leader arose, and humanity rallied. King Magnus drove back the slavering hordes and fought to bring peace to the land once more. However our story does not chronicle King Magnus’ rise to power. Nor does it detail how he collected the elites of the kingdom and forged them into the sharpest of blades. No. Our story tells the tale of young Ril Renar. An orphan. Alone, rejected by society. Ril travels across Elendial searching desperately for a family to call his own. Along the way he will find friends and struggle mightily to convince them to make a space in their hearts for him. Book 1 - Complete (0-30) Book 2 - Ongoing (31-) This story is a softcore progression classic fantasy with LitRPG elements. The story is about searching for family, love, loss, sacrifice, and of course power. The content warnings are mild.
