Crafting District's main office
"So, this where hammerheads like you come to work, huh?" Saffire asked as the group was standing in front of the main office.
"Well, not really, I'm not gonna be working here, but this is where I can get all official with things," Blake answered her as he slammed his fist against the iron gate a few times and as with the first time, a peephole slid open.
"Eh?" From it came, the high-pitched voice of Bearytorats and his glossy yellow eyes looked through it, but the peephole was a full 2 feet above Blake's head.
"Oh? Hello." Which was about the same height Baba was floating at. "There's a Mr. Blake and friends here to see the craftsmaster, please?" She asked sweetly, but the marble eyes of Bearytorats rolled right around as he shut the peephole in Baba's face. "Not very nice, are they now?" She mused before lazily floated down to Blake's side.
"Oh yeah, the Gnome?" Blake muttered as the gate started to open and coming down from the ceiling was Bearytorats in a platform held up by chains. "Hey, Bearytorats."
"Now, look at that? You didn't run off like a little baby back to yer mommy's tatas! Hah!" Bearytorats' high pitched and rude voice greeted the group as he got down to eye level with Blake.
"Heh, this little thing's got a mouth, huh?" Saffire giggled a little at the tiny ill-mouthed Gnome stepping up to him along with Gram and Baba who floated closer. "What can you make with those tiny arms of yours?"
"I can make a holder for those fun bags you got there. They look a wee bit heavy...got some back pains? Want it in steel or wood?" Bearytorats shot back as he walked over to Saffire and poked one of her breasts. "Hmm? If ya trying to compete with one of those cowgirls, then I'd say you're on yer way."
"What was that!? You talking pebble!?" Saffire growled as she blew smoke out of her nose on top of Bearytorats.
"Oh? Would you look at that? She's got a mouth on her to bad for you, boy!" Bearytorats now pitch black from the smoke turned to Blake. "And she comes with internal heating, milk from her is gonna be great for whatever shit of bairns babs the two of you make, haha!"
"What was that!?" Saffire growled even louder at the Gnome, but he had moved on to Baba. "Don't listen to him! You got no chance with me, Scaleless!" She snapped at Blake, who didn't even say anything.
"Hmm? Bag of air are ya?" Bearytorats asked Baba as she floated around him. "What reason one of you are flying around someone like him?" He pointed a nail at Blake.
"Oh? I have my reasons." Baba answered, giving Bearytorats a knowing smile.
"Aye, you want to have him in his birthday suit all to yer self, damn Harpy," Bearytorats told Baba off, making her giggled lightly while throwing a few side glances at Blake. "I'd be careful around that one..." He warned Blake then finally turned to Gram. "...dog."
"Rock." Gram returned and stared at the Gnome for a moment while sniffing him.
"You sure got a lot of weird friends, boy." Bearytorats looked up at Blake as he crawled on top of Gram's head to ride him. "So, you willing to let me take a peek at what that runt is carrying?" He pointed at the case Bread was holding.

Blake shook his head at the request. "Nah, I want to see that Orc's reaction to it before anyone else and how the heck did you know that?"
"Huh? Easy, every goddess damn fool here has their head up their ass looking for about anything to do with this!" Bearytorats yelled at Blake with his stubby hands thrown to the air. "But enough of that, dog, we're going that way." He pointed away from the busy production floor.
"Wait? Aren't we going up there?" Blake looked up at Deller's office dome and was surprised to see that there wasn't a figure looking down at them.
"Your item's not going to get examined up there we got a room from that you know." Bearytorats groaned with a roll of his eyes and somehow got Gram walking, followed by everyone else.
After a short walk, the group came to a large set of iron double doors that had the emblem of the Crafting District placed on them, placed on either side of the doors was a statue of a hulking Giant made of stone.
"Oi! Boys! Open the fucking door! We got ourselves a sorry sap wanting to kiss up to the rest of us!" Bearytorats yelled at the two statues as they came to life and opened the door to the group. "In we go!"
On the inside of the room was a quieter, smaller, and less hectic version of the factory on the outside. The workers there weren't putting anything together but, were instead trying out most of the products that were being made from weapons to carriages and once something was approved, it got taken out to another room.
"OI! I've got the jackass that set up that bet with the boss here!" Bearytorats called out to the room, causing some of the workers to fumble at what they were doing with some parts of stuff breaking off. "Hey! Watch it! With those slime covered tentacles, you call fingers!"
"Ooo?" At the sound of slime Os popped out of its jar to look around then went back in after Mari told it to.
"We heard you the first time! You dame rock!" Yelled a female Dwarf about 4 feet tall at best with a head of orange braided hair that went over her shoulders and down to her knees.
She was dressed in some blacksmith gear made up by a pair of boots, red pants, a leather vest/apron shirt that had tools dropped into a multitude of pockets that seemed endless. Resting on top of her was a headset fixed with a few magnifying glasses, two of which were in front her green eyes making them a lot bigger than they were.
"GRRR!" She came up to the group, glaring at Bearytorats as if he was an unwanted piece of rock. "You don't have to scream everything out like that, you know?" She pulled out a long-handled hammer that she tapped on Bearytorats. "We're fine-tuning items here."
Cave dweller, Dwarf: Smithing, mining, and building are the words most used when talking about these masters of crafts, who have a wealth of wisdom when it comes to putting something together.
They are usually short and stout, ranging from about 5 feet at their tallest and 3 feet at their shortest with strength far greater than what their height would say about them, easily able to outmuscle humans and other races that are often twice their size.
Items forged from this monster's Ore are hammers, pickaxes, other items used in mining or smithing.

"Oh, shut your trap, you boar!" Bearytorats continued with his screaming as he leaned in on the Dwarf with a nail tightly held in his hands. "Or do I need to make some 'fine tuning' to your attitude!"
"Ugh! Same as always with you damn rock!" The Dwarf spat at Bearytorats, ignoring him as he went on a bit of rant on top of Gram's head. "Oh?" Then she turned to Blake. "So, you're the one that's been getting everyone talking, eh? Name's Toffa, blacksmith, and head of item examination and maintenance." Toffa held out a hand to Blake while pushing up her makeshift glasses to show that her eyes were two green beady dots.
"Yep, that's m-woah!" Blake gladly took Toffa's hand only to get dragged to her height. "Got an arm there, don't you?"
"That I do! And here I thought you'd be more like that blockhead of father you got, heh!" Toffa lightly chuckled before tossing Blake back to his feet. "Now, we've got you and your item." She pointed at the case Bread was holding.
"Right!" Which the young boy shook a little in front of Toffa's face. "So, can we get this done already!?"
"Hey, hey, take it easy, kid, we're still missing one more person before we can get to that." Toffa grabbed the case and pushed it out of her face. "Oi, Beary, where's Keif?"
"Why would I care where's that one-eyed asshole is, besides, the two of us can get this done just fine," Bearytorats answered with a shrugged. "And don't fucking call me Beary that's my wife's job!" He tossed nail at Toffa that jabbed into one of her magnifying glasses. "That's a warning shot!"
"Wait? You're a part of this?" Blake swung his head towards Bearytorats along with everyone else expect Gram of course.
"Aye, I'm a blacksmith just like your sorry ass and the big boss of the production line that you were all staring at a moment ago but, didn't I tell you that already?" Bearytorats knocked on his head a few times, checking to see if he remembered or not. "Oh, yeah? I didn't? Hope you got something good in there cause I'm a hard sell, boy."
"Doesn't matter if you like it or not rock cause if Keif and I like it, your vote doesn't matter..." Toffa told Bearytorats off then looked up at the ceiling as Deller's office dome was moving from the production line to the testing area. "Welp, we'll just see what the craftsmaster has to say about this, come on, he'll meet us in a moment." She turned around to lead the group.
The group now found themselves in an area of the room with a few more work desks, testing instruments, targets, and any such things used in the evaluation of crafted items.
"Hmm? Fancy, all we had back in Fairmaw was bashing one thing against the other," Blake muttered as he and the group checked out the room.
"Bah! That sounds like Reiner." Deller's voice rang out from a pathway that he just walked out of. "Good to see that you didn't run off with your tail between your legs like a smart person." He stepped up to Blake and looked down at him with a mix between a glare and a smile.
"Well, if being smart means being a coward then best you do it right now, Orc." Blake shot back at Deller, trying his best stand up against the Orc, but sadly, the difference in their heights showed true.
"Bah, I don't need to hear anything from you, if you want to shut me up? Say it with your work, boy." Deller pushed out his chest and knocked Blake away from himself by a good bit, getting saved by Saffire standing behind him. "Hmph, you brought a crowd, I see?"
"Oooh? So, you're the big bad craftsmaster that's been giving my Hubby such a hard time, eh?" Baba floated on next to Deller and even made herself fly a bit tall than he was. "You don't look all that important from up here."
"Size has nothing to do with what we do here, madame." Deller held his arms behind his back as he addressed Baba with a bit of formality in his voice. "It's all about how good you craft something isn't it, boy?" He looked to Blake, who nodded in answer. "At least he taught you that much, I guess? Now, is everything ready to get this over and done with?" His eyes went to Toffa and Bearytorats.
"Sure! We can boss once Keif gets back in about...I don't fucking know!" Bearytorats shouted out for Toffa as he jumped off of Gram. "Thanks for the ride, dog."
"I am a wolf but okay." Gram ignored the Gnome as he went up to sniff around. "Hey, that last person? Do they do a lot of digging?" He asked, looking at Deller and Toffa.
"Eh? Well, mining to be correct, and lumber, raw materials are what Keif's good for." Toffa answered with a puzzled look on her face. "Why'd you asked that?"
"Over there..." Gram motioned over to a door as a very tall figure appeared out of it.
"Sorry for being late!" Came a panicked voice as a huge and muscular red skinned man. He wore a mudded blue kilt and nothing more, leaving his beefy upper half and his dirt covered feet for all to see, however, even this odd way of dressing wasn't the thing that made him stand out most that honor went to the single yellow eye that was taking up most of his face. "Hello!" He cheered to the room with the most honest smile anyone could make while rubbing a meaty hand over his bald head.
"Oh my?!" Risabeel gasped as this giant of a man stood over them, a full 3 feet taller than Deller who was already quite tall himself.
"Ah! Wait! No! Do not worry little lady! I am not going to kill and/or eat you!" The one-eyed man threw his arms up into the air and backed up a little to give Risabeel and everyone else some space.
"Oh, no, no, I am not afraid of you, dear sir." Risabeel corrected the man as she walked up to him to hold out her hand. "In fact, I was merely taken aback at how wondrous you are."
"Aww, you're just saying that cause you think I'm gonna crush your skull..." The one-eyed man playfully tossed his hands at Risabeel then the gears in his head started moving as he figured out what he just said." ...wait!? I didn't mean that honest!?"
"Enough of this, Keif," Deller came up to put an end to this with his mechanical hand grabbing Keif by his bottom lip and dragged him down to Deller's height. "This is Keif; he's a Cyclops in charge of gathering raw materials."
"Uh, huh! That's me," Keif nodded, with his lip stretching wide as Deller held him there.
Humanoid Monster, Cyclops: A race of mostly humanoid monster that has a single eye placed in the center of their heads. Despite what one might think this gives them a greater range and precision than many other races, however, at the same time, it is their greatest weakest as even the smallest pain to their eye can cause them to go into shock. Some also develop magic through their single eye.
Most Cyclopes come from sub-race of Giants making them usually quite large compared to other races large, but there are some who are the same size as humans or even smaller.
Items forged through the use of this monster's Ore are a mix of eye-themed staves, orbs, and clubs.
"Yep! That's me! Keif, the Gather!" Keif personally introduced himself after Deller let him go. "Oh uh, craftsmaster? I got that thing you wanted for the ar-!"
"That's all well and good, Keif, but let's talk about that later...amoung fewer ears..." Deller raised a hand to stop the Cyclops from yapping on more as he gave Blake's group a side glance. "...right now there is something of almost equal importance to deal with.
"Oh, right? That little shit's here to get his ass shot down by us, right?' Keif babbled out even though some of his words were harsh; his voice still held a bit of childishness to it. "That be you, right?" He suddenly stuck a finger out at Bread.
"No, that's me, baldy." Blake moved Keif's finger over to himself.
"Oh? That makes sense but, why is he carrying the case?" Keif asked after pointing back to Bread while dragging Blake along as well since he didn't let go of the Cyclops' finger.
"He's an idiot..." Blake thought, staring at Keif for a few moments, thinking of the simplest answer to give this guy. "Uh? Because my hands got tired..."
"Oh? You're a weakling then." Was all Keif said before walking over to his co-workers.
"Well, said Keif." Deller had a small smirk on his face as he patted Keif on the arm while looking Blake's way. "Now, if you're good to go, please, show us what you've got." He threw a hand to a display desk prepared for the event.
"Bread..." Blake motioned to the boy for him to bring up the case while getting looks from the crafters at the name. "...what?"
"Nothing, nothing at all." Toffa waved him off then leaned in on Bearytorats. "Did you know about that?"
"Of course, I fucking didn't know how weird this kid was! He's got a gang of monster girls around him to boot," Bearytorats answered as he climbed up Kief's back to his shoulders as they got closer to get a better look at whatever item, that as far as they knew was made by Blake's hands.
"Alright, take a look at this!" Bread cheered as he ripped open the case showing what was inside.
Resting perfectly in the center of the case was what looked like a bladeless sword handle with a basket guard that had a flame design coming from a small red gem at the guard's center. The handle of the guard had a trigger where your index finger would be.
"Well, looking here? You done made a really nice sword handle without a blade to fucking go with it," Bearytorats grumbled from Keif's shoulders.
"I don't think he was trying to make a sword here, rock," Toffa told Bearytorats, looking at it as well. "May I?" She looked up at Blake with a hand held out to the item.
"Go right ahead!" Bread answered for Blake even picking it up and holding it out for Toffa as carefully as possible.
"Oh, why thank you, dear." Toffa took it from Bread and got a closer look at it. "Hmm? Got some weight to it, pretty well put up together...but, most of us smiths can do that much...there are a few parts that could have done with some more work...?"
"Got that right! It's almost like you didn't know what the hell you wanted to make," Bearytorats added in as he made Keif carrying him down in his palm. "Oi, Keif, what kind of Ore did he use?"
"Oh? Uh, give it here," Keif picked the handle up and gave it a sniff much like Gram does with everything. "Yep, that's Fire Elemental Ore, alright."
"Fire Elemental Ore, huh? That explains the flame design, but as much as I'd want to try this thing out I'd like to know what does this it do first?" Toffa asked taking the item from Keif and twisted it around a few times while making sure not to press the trigger just yet.
"It shots fire out of that hole when you pull the trigger." Bread again answered for Blake getting more of the attention of the crafters.
"Any of us could find that one out we ain't that brain dead." Bearytorats spat out as Toffa was pointing the item at a group of targets that were set up beforehand.
"Here we go!" Toffa pulled the trigger and out of the gem shot a stream of fire that went across the room and torched the targets instantly. "Meh, a nice bit of power to it for the size, pretty good range, too bad it can't be used as a lamp." She muttered after finding out the item was seemingly a flamethrower and nothing else. "Huh?" Then to her shock, the flame suddenly turned into a small glowing ball of red, floating in front of the gem that gave off a good bit of light.
"Oi, what gives? Usually, you keep going until something breaks, boar?" Bearytorats asked, sounding a bit disappointed in Blake's work.
"But look I'm not..." Toffa held up the item to show that she was holding down the trigger as hard as she could. "...all I did was think about it as a lamp, hmm...?" She thought to herself for a moment then the small orb of fire turned back to a stream of fire. "Oh?"
"Oh? Oh? Could you just explain yourself, woman!" Bearytorats jumped down from Keif's hand to kick Toffa in the leg.
"It reacts and reshapes to the user's thoughts," Toffa explained, remaking the orb of fire she had earlier. "But I'm guessing its petty basic, huh?"
"Well, there is this weird part." Bread pointed out as he held out his hand for him to get the item. "Hmm...?" And after holding it for a bit, the orb of fire turned into a small blue flame. "What the heck do you guys call this?"
"..." All three of the examining crafters leaned in on the flame the item with Keif being the most intimidating since he was able to cover Bread in his shadow. "Hey, that's like dem fire mages when we ask dem to cut up our metal, right?"
"It's not like that it's exactly the same." Toffa corrected as she kept looking at the small, seemingly harmless flame. "Hey, have you tried cutting metal with that?" She looked up to face Bread, and before he could answer, she dragged him over to a desk where an iron bar was. "Alright, take a whack at this bit!"
"Huh? Don't you guys use like magically enchanted stuff to cut something that thick?" Bread asked as Toffa was pushing him forward.
"Oi! Just try it, or we'll do it ourselves!" Bearytorats ordered, climbing up on the desk to get a closer look at what would happen. "You've gotten us a bit excited, so keep it going will you."
"..." Bread turned to Blake for any input, but sadly the young boy's slightly older master shrugged his way. "Useless old man." He groaned inside his head before turning back to the iron bar. "Welp, nothing bad could happen, right?" He slowly brought the blue flame down on the bar. "Huh?" And to his surprise, the fire was very slowly but at the same time smoothly go through the bar. "Cool!"
"Well, that's one part down, now, let's see about this bit." Toffa moved Bread to another table which had two iron bars along with a small rolled up silver sheet that Toffa picked up. "Alrighty, I want you to just heat this up while I bring these bars together, got that?" She winked at Bread as she moved a little bit closer to him. "Gonna have to look through this before your eyes fall off, sonny," Toffa warned before pulling down a tinted magnifying glass.
"O-o-okay." Bread went along with it and got to work.
"This seems to be going well, yes, Sir Blake?" Risabeel asked Blake, although most of what was happening was interesting to her in some way she wasn't sure if any of it was good or bad for the test.
"Hmm? So far it's all been going good, and I think we're just about done here." Blake answered while partly covering his eyes along with everyone else from the flash of light coming from where Bread and Toffa were working except for Gram who had to turn away.
"You have quite a bit of fate in yourself." Deller cut into the conversation giving Blake a side glance. "It's almost like you think you've done a good job?"
"Heh, true, granted this is just part one, right? Next, up is me going after your student." Blake shot back with a smirked, but Deller turned away from him with a grunt.
"Student, huh?" Deller muttered as he looked at Bread's back as he and Toffa were done. "How is it?"
"All good from my eyes." Toffa stepped back as Deller came over to see that the bars were fused by a pump of melted metal that was cooling down. "Nice work, sonny."
"Heh, thanks." Bread wiped some sweat from his forehead and moved away as Deller came over to them.
"..." Deller eyed the fused bars carefully before picking it up. "Keif." Then handed it over to the Cyclops.
"Okay!" Keif slowly started to bend the fused bars until it was made into a circle. "Oh? Not bad, it didn't snap in two! Just like dem mages, right?"
"You said that already, you damn idiot." Bearytorats spat out as he walked up to Bread. "Do you have any idea how useful that thing is?"
"Not really?" Bread answered while snatching the back of his head. "Ow! What gives!?" Only to get a swift kick from the Gnome.
"Fucking idiot this one! I can't believe you're the one that made this piece of work." Bearytorats nagged as he got back up on Keif.
"Hey! Would an idiot be someone who made the thing that all of you have been staring at all this time!" Bread yelled up at Bearytorats. "Ah!" And jumped out of the way as a nail was tossed at him. "HA! You mis-OW!" But that set him up for a fist to smack him upside the head.
"You really are an idiot you let the cat out of the bag, brat." Blake was one who hit him.
"Huh?" It took Bread a second to get what Blake meant, but once he looked at the three crafters and Deller talking to eachother, he got a shocked look on his face. "I-I-I didn't mean to! He just started insulting me!" He pointed at Bearytorats up on Keif.
"I noticed, we need to work on that one and don't worry; they knew it was you from the beginning, right?" Blake lightly smacked Bread again then turned to the crafters as they were done talking.
"Of course, wasn't all that hard," Deller answered for the four of them.
"How?" Bread asked, confused by the fact if they knew it wasn't Blake then why go along with the test? "And if you knew why even look at my item."
"Well, you were the one doing all the talking while that poll over there was just watching everything," Bearytorats answered first pointing at Blake. "And the way you were holding it like a newborn bab, in that case, was clear as day that it was important to your snot-nosed face, heh."
"Stop it, rock," Toffa nagged then looked back at Bread. "From what the boss told us we knew whatever he could've made would be on par with some of our best here and sorry to say as impressive your work is, it says 'first try' all over it."
At that last comment, Blake's interest peaked a little. "Huh? What's that you think that highly of me, Orc?" He looked at Deller with a small smirk on his face.
"Tch, of course, I'd think that about you, you're the student of my old rival..." Deller returned Blake smirk with one of his own. "And besides, I would love to see Anthony put you in your place at his feet."
"So what's the result then Orc!?" Blake crossed his arms and stepped up to look Deller right in the eyes. "Because I am all ready and waiting to prove you wrong about that!"
"That's up to them, I believe?" Deller waved a hand at his crafters. "Well, then what say you three?"
"I Toffa, head of item examination and maintenance, approve of Blake, the smith's work." Toffa sent a smile at both Blake and Bread with a thumbs up.
"Meh, I've seen worse than this, so I guess you're useful just a little bit, for the laughs of course." Bearytorats threw up both a middle finger and thumbs up at them. "Oi! It's your turn! You damn one-eyed jackass!" Then he kicked Keif right in his ear getting his foot stuck in there. "Not again! Clean your damn wax collectors!"
"Huh? Wha?" Keif was confused for a moment looking around a bit dazed then looked down at Bread. "What're you going to call this thing?" He asked, pointing at the item in Bread's hand.
"Uhm...?" Bread didn't think about that much about a name because of the short notice Blake gave him on making this thing in the first place. "...I think I'll go with...a Flameworks?"
"Seriously!? That's the best you could come up with?" Blake muttered at Bread's lackluster naming sense.
"Says the guy that just puts a monster's race in front of everything and calls it an attack..." Saffire whispered to herself while watching from the background getting a small laugh out of Gram who could ear her.
But for some reason, Keif looked like he had the most serious of thoughts going through his head as his face was set in a stone-cold stare. "Hmm...? I like it! You got my vote!" He went over to pick Bread up and sat him down on his shoulder. "I like your name too! It's stupid!"
"Hah, looks like I win part 1, Orc." Blake turned to Deller to see what he thought about this outcome.
"Like I said; I never doubted that you'd pulled through this task," Deller said, holding up his usual calm stance on the event.
"That may be so craftsmaster Deller, but I'm curious why you are alright with all of this?" Risabeel came up to ask, feeling that it was wrong of Blake to fool Deller in such a way and was left confused by the craftsmaster's approval of it.
"Risabeel...?" Blake tried to cut her off before anything she said gave Deller a reason to throw all of this out the window. "Eh?" But the Orc merely raised a hand to Bread.
"He did nothing wrong as far as I can see, I asked him to show his work as a blacksmith..." Deller began as he held a hand to Bread. "...and that boy right there is proof of his skill as a teacher," Deller answered Risabeel then held up his mechanical arm as the fingers of his hand turned into a key, a pen, lighter, pin and tweezers. "A crafter's worth is how useful the thing they make is to the people around them or in this case the person they make...also that item...." He took a long gaze at the Flameworks. "...I mean this Flameworks here is pretty useful at the moment."
"How so?" Risabeel asked, relieved after hearing that Blake wasn't breaking any part of his bet.
Deller returned his hand to normal before speaking. "Well, you see, Monster Ore while all good and useful to us is a lot harder to get then simpler material like wood and stone, but then there is iron which unlike wood or stone it is harder to reuse it without melting it down, but each time that happens it loses some of its mass."
"And welding helps with that." Blake cut in seemingly knowing what Deller was going on about.
"So you know about it, huh?" Deller asked and waited for Blake to answer him.
"Yeah, a rich guy came in one time talking about how easy and fast it was for them to get their cart's wheel fixed by welding it back on instead of the old replacement job," Blake answered, making Deller nod in agreement. "But he also said that only a trained fire mage and blacksmith working together could get it done right."
Another nod came from Deller. "Yes, but the problem with that is that most mages prefer to study their magical power than work themselves to a sweat around our kind, which is why you don't see it too often. However, that kid you got there just gave us a big breakthrough." He smiled over at Bread as he was getting tossed in the air by Keif. "If we can reproduce it, then it should increase our output."
"You're welcome Orc but, let's not get too friendly right now, eh?" Blake pointed out as he was moving around his shoulder's a bit. "I feel like it's time to kick that student's of your's ass."
Deller smirked at first. "Bah, simple-minded and straight to the point just like your fa-"
"Father?" Blake cut Deller shot, but the Orc's smirk didn't go away.
"No, like your mother, she was a real battle freak, your father at least made sure he could win what he was getting into." Deller corrected Blake as he leaned in on the boy trying to threaten him, but the Smith-knight held on strong. "Tch." He backed off and checked a watch that was built into his arm. "Alright! You three! We're done here, now get back to work!"
"Yes, boss!" Both Toffa and Keif respectfully obeyed Deller and slammed their fists into open palms like a hammer to an anvil.
"Huh?" And now that no one was tossing him in the air Bread was left to fall back down to the floor. "AHHH-huh!?"
"Oh don't worry Muffin you helped out Hubby, so nothing gets to hurt you today." Baba cooed as she floated on by as Bread was softly placed on the floor.
"I'll get back to work when I fell like it you daft bastard," Bearytorats yelled at Deller but still did the crafters salute to him before he, Toffa and Keif left the room.
"Now, to the Advent District!" Deller declared to Blake's group giving all of them question marks over there heads. "Problem?"
"Not really? Just curious about the change of venue," Blake answered for the group with a raised brow.
"Well? By the way, you speak; I'd be a fool to think that you want a simple debate between yourself and Anthony, yes?" Deller asked while he was slowly making his way out of the room.
"Got that right!" Blake smacked a fist into his open palm following behind Deller along with the rest of his group.
"Good, I've got the perfect place to finish this..." Deller turned around to flash a grin with a few of his tusks sticking out before turning back around to lead the group. "Heh, you wouldn't be like that once things get started, boy."

Blood Seekers - Book 1, is now on Amazon, including the final chapters not posted here! https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B07MYJ5ZRC “You will die!” That's what the developers of Blood Seekers promised them... The most challenging MMO ever created—that’s how they advertised it. Taglines like, “Not your granddaddy’s game,” and, “Only for the hardest of the hardcore,” had gamers going crazy. Set in a gothic, Lovecraftian world, with fully realized A.I. NPCS, gamers were desperate to get their hands on the new game and dive in, and Clay was one of them. It was going to be tough, but he was ready for it. What he wasn’t ready for, was countless players having their minds hijacked and being transformed into mindless, hostile creatures filled with nothing but hate who killed anyone on sight. They called them the Bloodless. Clay’s best and only friend, Rey, moved across the country she was twelve, but they kept in touch online, playing countless games together, and when Blood Seekers was released, they were both ready to step up to the plate and face the new challenge together. But now, Rey has been taken by the plague, her mind held hostage as one of the Bloodless. A mysterious black monolith has appeared at the center of the highest level zone in the game, a place no one has even come close to. Some say it will provide us with answers. Others say it will only lead to more questions. Who’s behind all this? Why are people’s minds being taken? Will we ever get to bring them back? How many more will be lost if we stay logged in? Nothing is certain, but if there’s any chance that reaching the monolith will bring Rey back back, then Clay will do everything he can to reach it. This is Book 1 in a new series from Stephen Roark! I will be posting chapters here until the book is done and published on Amazon!
8 80Divine Progress
Progress is a dubious god. After failing him, three people are banished from modern times and sent to another world. Seemingly out of place, Christoph is snatched from his own time and plunged into a world of violence and magic with no deity to lend him support. Instead, Progress has seen fit to curse him with an eternal hunger for magical energy. Branded as a demon, he must fight for survival while battling the servants of the god who sent him there, struggling against the 'gift' that Progress bestowed upon him and the past he sought to abandon. Can he make his way across the lands and gather enough strength to survive without the blessings of the Divine? Or will the gods bend him to their will, breaking him if he seeks to resist? This is not a short story, and the plot will take many twists and turns before Christoph's journey comes to a close. After all, it is not the destination, but the Progress that matters in the end. Like many other stories on RoyalRoad, this is my first piece. Feedback is more than welcome, so please leave a reply if you have a comment or question.
