Town Square

"Great, it's here...." Blake groaned, looking up at the rooftops from anything. "Shit..." His eyes widened at seeing a giant jet black monster with a horribly mangled body in its claws.

"..." It gazed over everyone around the square before setting its glowing green eyes on Risabeel of all people then to Blake standing protectively next to her. "GRRRAH!" It let out a low growl as it crushed the body in its claws into a bloody mess of flesh and bone before leaping off the rooftop with its arms outstretched going for Risabeel.

"Like hell, I'd let you get her!" Blake yelled, making a fist to use against this monster, thankfully for him, it was stopped by Reiner slashing it in two with one good swing of his Garlan, flying green blood everywhere. "Huh!?"

"BAHAHAHAHA! You got some big balls trying to fight a Demon without a weapon, but you don't have the muscles for it! So use this, you runt!" Reiner tossed Blake his Swift Sparrow Sword then swung Garlan covered in green blood over his shoulder.

"Thank you, Sir Reiner, and to you, Sir Blake," Risabeel bowed her head to the both of them breathing a sigh relief.

"I wasn't much help there, and not everyone can be a mass of muscle like you, pops." Blake joked then looked down at the top of half Demon. "What kind of Demon is this guy?" He questioned then he noticed that it had some of the town's guard armor on it. "This wasn't a Demon before was it?" He asked then a shadowy spirit crawled out of the Demon's body before fading away when it did the Demon turned into the guard that was at the gate. "What the fuck!?" Blake yelled, backing away.

"That's a Hellspawn, fucking bastards! And there's never just one of them around." He warned with a sad expression on his face then more roars came from around the town.

Underworld Monster, Hellspawn or Hell's pawn: The foot soldiers of the Underworld, never alone and each having high strength and agility when compared to an average human. Though powerful they are unable to exist without a host when not in the Underworld appearing as spirits that try to possess a host in order to gain a body then slowly change it to match their original ones.

Humans are the usual targets, but other creatures can be possessed as well, such as dogs, cat, birds, and even other monsters. They are always lead by a Demon of a higher power which brings their spirits out of the Underworld.

There are no items that can be forged from their Ore since they do not drop an Ore when killed, the cause of this is because when a Demon's spirit possesses other being it destroys the Ore inside of them.

"Hellspawn, huh? That's fucked up." Blake muttered, looking away from the body. "So, what do we do now?"

"Well, these things are going to keep coming until we find the Demon behind this," Reiner answered, thinking some things over then pointed to Blake. "You get the girls home the help the guards while I do some cleaning of my own, got it?"

"Right and don't worry I'm not going to hold back against these things they aren't people anymore," Blake answered, holding his sword up ready for anything and as if fate wanted to test him, a group of six Hellspawn appeared on some buildings bearing fangs and claws at Blake and Reiner. "Let's see if you still got it, pops."

"Haha! Who's the one who taught you, your stuff, runt!?!" Reiner readied Garlan as the Hellspawns came down to the street, surrounding Reiner and Blake who were on either side of Mari and Risabeel, four were on Reiner's side and two on Blake's side. "It looks like these things have some good taste!" Reiner grinned at one of the Hellspawn, causing it to rush at him. "Sorry, friend, but I'll make it quick!" He pulled back and took a swing at it slashing off one of its arms, but it kept going dashing passed Reiner and jumped into the air. "Blake! You're up!"

"Oh no, you don't!" Blake jumped in, striking the Hellspawn with an upward stab while it was still in the air and tossed it off his sword into another one on the other side. "You're not getting anywhere near Risabeel or Mari! Monsters!" He yelled at all of them and pulled his sword back swirling with wind. "Sparrow Wing Gale!" Blake released a powerful blast of air, but it wasn't strong enough to toss the Hellspawns into the air. "Dammit!"

"Hah, looks like you'll have to do this the hard way, runt!" Reiner chuckled as his sword surged with a red aura. "Maxus Boom!" He slammed Garlan down as the three Hellspawns left on his side all jumped at him when his sword hit the ground a red explosion blew the Hellspawns away throwing them into the nearby buildings while forming a small crater at Reiner's feet, Demonic spirits left each of the Hellspawns turning them back to normal but dead. "Haha! Take that, ya bastards!"

"Now it's my turn!" Blake declared as one of the remaining Hellspawns began to rush at him, taking large slashes at his. "!" Blake dodged them by inches then jumped back. "Rrrgghh!" He did a quick thrust into the Hellspawn's stomach while nearly getting his face clawed off then he did a half spin pulling his sword out of the Hellspawn and slashed off its head. "Hah! You fuckers, aren't that strong!"

"Sir Blake, look out!" Risabeel cried as the headless Hellspawn stood back up and tried to grab at Blake.

"No hugs, buddy!" Blake rolled out of its way, but even without a head, it was able to follow him around rushing at Blake with green blood spilling from its neck. "If taking your head doesn't work, then I'll let your guts out!" He dodged one of its claw strikes then slashed it down the middle, green blood flying as it was sliced in half, doing so caused the Demon spirit inside to erupt out of the Hellspawn. "Next!"

"..." But oddly instead of continuing their attack the last two Hellspawns stood there just glaring at Blake and Reiner not moving an inch towards or away.

"Reiner, what are they doing?" Blake asked, keeping his sword at the ready as a bad feeling came over him.

"I have a feeling their boss is here," Reiner answered coldly, looking past the two Hellspawns and saw a small figure walking towards them. "Blake, you protect the girls, and I'll take the front," Reiner ordered, moving in front of Blake.

"Right," Blake answered, taking up guard as the figure finally got to them seeing that it was Valac. "It's a kid!?" He yelled at seeing a small boy looking no older than Mari standing with the Hellspawns at his side like pet dogs.

"How rude! Didn't your mother ever tell you not to judge one by their appearance, hmm?" Valac asked with a cartoonish vein popping out of his head. "Ah." Then he took in a deep breath to calm himself. "...Now then, could you two move aside so that I may escort her ladyship Risabeel back to where she belongs, please?" He asked rather politely even taking a small bow.

"Her ladyship Risabeel?" Blake questioned, turning around to Risabeel who looked as confused as he was. "...Right, she doesn't know anything about herself, so this little freak could actually know her, but the problem is...he's a Demon."

"Yes, yes I mean the girl if you give her up now then, I, Valac! A Demon elite of the highest order! Will take my leave post haste along with my pets." Valac offered with some annoyance in his voice as he tapped on the ground with his feet, his Hellspawns showing their annoyance as well growling and clawing at the ground.

Underworld monster, Demon: They are citizens of the Underworld, who have long been known as the creators of all things evil in the world. They often bring about, disaster, death, chaos, and suffering wherever they go, wishing to twist and reshape minds of mortals to their liking then drag them down to deeps of darkness.

With darkness as their home, they have ultimate control over it and other types of magic, while others are more focus on physical power or a mixture of both

Items that can be forged by using Demon Ore are wide in variety as Demons can be classified into many sub-race.

"Well? Blake, are you going to do what he says?" Reiner asked without turning back, keeping his eyes on Valac and Valac only.

"Like hell! Let's deal with this little brat already for messing with our town!" Blake answered, pointing at Valac with his sword, causing the two Hellspawns next to Valac to growl at Blake. "And tell your dogs to keep quiet!"

"Hehe, oh my! How amusing for a foolish mortal...as always," Valac smirked deviously at Blake then pulled out his book. "You see this right here? This book is a grimoire from the Underworld, a rather useful thing really? Filled with all kinds of Black Magic not that I have any need to use it, but it does help in bringing friends to this side." He explained, waving the grimoire around then made it float in front of him and opened it up with its pages turning by themselves.

"Blake, now you did it!" Reiner yelled, charging at Valac intent on stopping him from doing whatever he was. "Out of my way!" He cleaved through the two Hellspawns the moment they tried to stop him from getting at Valac, Demonic spirits leaving the now useless bodies. "You're next, runt!"

"Hmm?" Valac quickly jumped back and seemingly floated in the air of a bit then landed a fair distance away from Reiner. "My, my, if you are being so brutish, then I have just the perfect pet to play with a mortal such as yourself." He declared as his grimoire finally stopped turning pages which Valac then held up high. "Come forth from the black abyss, breaker of walls and smasher of my enemies, Dread Beast!"

When he finished his small chant a vortex of dark mana appeared from his grimoire and the first thing out of it was a giant red arm of a monster that started to claw its way out of the vortex.

"Reiner, what the fuck is that?!" Blake asked in a panic state, watching along with everyone else as a huge muscular red-skinned Demon crawled out of the vortex. It only had a black loincloth to cover itself and stood tall over some of the houses around it with a pair of long black bull horns on its head and burning red eyes that gazed angrily at Reiner and Blake. "And why is it so pissed to see us?"

"It's a Dread Beast, and they always look like that, believe me," Reiner answered, holding Garlan at the ready while the Dread Beast smiled at him showing rows upon rows of jagged teeth.

Underworld Monster, Dread Beast: Large Demons of the Underworld who use strength over all else to crush their opponents in a brutal and cruel manner. They are often treated as ordinary bodyguards for Underworld nobility, but to others, they are terrible monsters of destruction, with just one being able to destroy an entire town with ease

Items made from this monster's Ore are axes, war hammers or maces.

"Tsk! Fighting Demons is so unfair!" Blake complained while looking up at the Dread Beast towering over him and Reiner. "So, uh, you want to take the first swing at it, pops, haha?" He asked, nervously laughing at Reiner.

"Blake, I want you to take the girls away from here while I deal with these two, got it?" Was Reiner's answered not even turning back to face Blake.

"..." Blake stared at Reiner's back then cracked a smile. "Yeah, yeah, I hear you! Just don't make me come running back to save your old ass." He said then turned to Mari and Risabeel. "Ladies, time to get the hell out of here!" With nods from them, Blake and the girls quickly got away, leaving Reiner with Valac and the Dread Beast.

"Oh, my? Are you sure that was a wise choice, mortal?" Valac asked, faking a look of worry on his face that Reiner didn't buy for a second. "I mean? What's stopping me from letting my pet crush you while I go after them, hmm?" He added, snapping his fingers and instantly, his beast threw a massive punch down at Reiner. "!" But to Valac's shock, his beast's arm was blasted off by Reiner's Garlan. "Hmm?"

"HAH! That would be me and my blade, you little Demon shit!" Reiner yelled, charging up Garlan for another blast. "I'll send you back to the Underworld in a pile of ash!"

Valac put on a twisted grin at Reiner's statement. "My, oh my! How bold for a mere mortal to threaten one such as myself! Hmph! I hope that my other pets haven't already ripped that boy apart already so that I can show him your head on a silver platter." He declared with his hands surging with dark mana while his beast readied itself for another go at Reiner.

"Hah! It looks like I got some work do to." Reiner laughed charging at Valac and his Dread Beast just as they did the same.

Somewhere in Fairmaw with Blake and the girls

"Sir Blake, do you think it was wise to leave, Sir Reiner with those Demons?" Risabeel asked, running alongside Blake and Mari as they got as far away from where they were as possible.

"Hmm? Oh yeah, he'll be fine! Reiner's about the strongest guy in town." Blake answered, stopping so that the girls could take a breather, but he still looked around for anything. "If he says to get out, then I listen to him, isn't that right, Mari?"

"Yep! Dad's an even better fighter than you, Blake!" Mari answered cheerfully with a fist in the air.

Blake let out a low groan at Mari's answered. "That's only until I make a something that outdoes his Garlan; that's all that matters to blacksmiths after all!" He said, striking a fist in the air as well.

"Oh, is that a rite of passage between blacksmiths, Sir Blake?" Risabeel asked, smiling at Blake's dramatic pose.

"Uh, yea, something like that, I can't be called a master blacksmith until I outdo my teacher whenever that happens..." Blake answered, shrugging at the last bit. "...I've been at it for a while though no matter what I forge, it always gets smashed by that damn sword, uhgg!" He added, groaning loudly and passed a hand through his crimson hair.

"Well, I am sure that someday you will definitely be one of the greatest blacksmiths of our time," Risabeel told Blake trying to encourage him as best she could.

"HEY! Being Blake's cheerleader is my job! Back off!" Mari yelled, getting between Blake and Risabeel with her hands on her hips. "Don't worry Blake. You'll beat dad any day now! You hear!"

"Aww! Mari, you're too sweet sometimes! Come here!" Blake said, trying to wrap Mari up in a big hug but three mighty roars stopped him. "More Hellspawns, huh? Reiner did say there would be more until that little kid gets his ass spanked." Blake went for his sword and waited for the owners of those roars, within seconds three Hellspawns appeared jumping from rooftop to rooftop before landing down a few meters away from the group. "Well then shall w-"

"IT'S HIM!" One the Hellspawns roared with a mix between a human's voice and animal's growl glaring at Blake with its disgusting green eyes it also had slimmer build than its companions and seemed to have grown large spikes starting from its head down to a long and deadly spiked tail.

"It's the asshole that got us like this!" Another one of them added looking normal for the most part, but when it clenched its fists, long sharp blades came out its forearms.

"We're going to take your fucking head off this time, brat!" The last of them added with this one having some kind of armor made out of its skin and smashed its giant fist on the ground just wanting to rip Blake apart limb by limb.

"Hmm? Why does it feel like I've heard this already?" Blake asked himself, staring back at the glaring Hellspawns with a sense of deja vu then noticed the black bandannas that were torn up around their necks. "Oh! It's the bandits from the forest! Well, you guys sure changed a lot!" He blurted out, keeping the cocky tone he had with them from their last meeting.

"Little shit!" The one with the spiked tail yelled, striking its tail at a tree smashing it in two.

"Can I have his head?" The bladed one asked.

"Fine, but I'll get his heart!" The armored one growled like a hungry dog.

"Then come and get me, bandit boys!" Blake took a defensive stance waiting for one of them to take the taunt.

"WITH PLEASURE!" The spiked tail one accepted making a mad dash towards Blake with his tail whipping behind him.

Blake smiled at the Hellspawn seeing that he wasn't even trying to move in any confusing manner just making an all-out attack on Blake. "Heh, they still think the same. All I've got to do is watch out of the new parts." He thought, waiting until the Hellspawn was just in front of him then took a swing at him but the Hellspawn smiled at the last second. "Huh?!" The next thing Blake knew was the Hellspawn jumping over his swing then delivered a spinning kick to the side of his head. "Argh!" But before he could recover from the pain, a flash of white caught his eye. "Whoa!" Blake had to block an x-slash from the bladed one quickly.

"Blake, big incoming!" Mari yelled, warning Blake as the armored Hellspawn came crashing towards him.

"My turn!" He growled, grabbing Blake around his neck and quickly lifted him off his feet.

"Let go, fucker!" Blake tried slashing at the Hellspawn with his sword, but it just bounced off the Hellspawn's thick armor like his sword was made of rubber. "Dammit!"

"Aww! That tingles! Here! Let me show you some real strength!" The armored Hellspawn yelled, slamming Blake into the ground knocking the air out him. "HAHAHA! How does it feel?" He asked, bringing his foot down on Blake's stomach, causing him to cough up blood. "HAHAHAHA! MORE! MORE! MORE!" He chanted, rapidly driving his foot into Blake with each one followed by upsetting cracking sound.

"Blake!" Mari cried the only thing that she could do at this point along with Risabeel.

"HEY! Save some life in him for the rest of us, will you!" The bladed one ordered grabbing his friend's shoulder to stop him. "I want to cut him up little." He said with his blades ready to be used.

"HAH! Alright, here you g- SON OF A BITCH!" The armored Hellspawn cussed about to allow his friend to get his part in when Blake stabbed him between the joints in his legs. "WHY YOU LITTLE BRAT!"

"*Cough* Still not out yet, bastard." Blake grinned at Hellspawns getting up from the ground with blood running down from his mouth and burning pain coming from his abdomen. "Come at me!"

"Hah! Good to hear!" The bladed one laughed, slashing the air with his arm blades. "What shall I cut off first? Your right leg? Your left arm? Or should I stab out your ey-!" He was shut up by Blake trying to take a slash at him that he blocked. "Eager? Aren't we?"

"Stop talking and fight me! You ugly fucker!" Blake yelled, putting as much strength as possible as he clashed with the bladed Hellspawn sparks flying as their blades rubbed up against each other, but they were at a stalemate...or at least Blake thought it was until the Hellspawn put just a bit more effort. "Dammit!" Blake yelled, getting tossed back, barely landing back on his feet.

"HAH! Is that the best you have?" The bladed one mockingly asked as he retracted his blades with a bored look on his Demonic face. "Hey, Spikes, just finish 'em for me, would you?" He ordered over to his friend with his arms crossed.

"If you say so, boss! HAHAHA!" The spiked one answered going down on all fours while the spikes on his back went up as his tail whipped behind him. "Now? Should I end it quickly in one go? Or should I take my sweet time slowly weakening you bit by bit until you can't defend yourself, Hmm?"

"Stop talking like you've already won! I'm still standing here, porcupine!" Blake called out to the Hellspawn, readying himself for the attack to come when suddenly his opponent began darting around him quickly. "What!?" Blake quickly looked all around trying to keep up while the other two laughed at him then in the next second, the Hellspawn appeared behind him. "Shit!"

"HAH!" The Hellspawn whipped his tail out viciously at Blake, striking him in the back with the spikes of his tail going right through Blake and came out all over the front of his abdomen. "Oh? Look at that? You're still standing, guess that means I haven't won yet, right?" The Hellspawn asked, lifting Blake as blood poured out of him while gasping for air like a fish out of water and let go of his sword. "Sounds like your lungs need some air, maybe this will help!" He tossed Blake off his tail covered in blood that slowly dripped off the spikes, when Blake hit the ground, he let out a groan of pain. "Guess not, HAHAHAHA!"

Blake landed flat on his back a few feet away with a large pool of his blood forming under him. "Blake!" Came the cries of Mari and Risabeel as they ran towards Blake, the three Hellspawns didn't bother to stop them and simply laughed with each other as the girls got to Blake's side. "Blake, please get up!..." Mari cried over and over again.

Blake coughed up blood and his face twisted in pain. "...I...I...I'm okay..." He lied not fooling either of them as he looked up at them on his left was Mari crying over him, her tears falling on his face. "...Dammit, Marius' crying is so annoying..." Blake thought, but he couldn't look away, on his right was Risabeel looking at him worriedly. "Sorry...about...this." He apologized in nearly a whispered.

"Sir Blake, please be silent if you speak, you may..." Risabeel started then went quiet not finding anything more to say and was left to holding tightly onto Blake's hand with a strange feeling linking them together. "...Please, be all right, Sir Blake, please." She begged Blake, keeping his hand close to hers with that strange feeling getting stronger and stronger as a dark purple aura started to come from hers and Blake's hands. "What is this?" Risabeel questioned in her head, mystified by the aura. "...Can this help, Sir Blake?" She asked, no begged for her to be right and the aura granted her wish by covering her and Blake then turned into a swirling mass of darkness in their place.

"Blake! Risabeel!" Mari cried, getting pushed back by the tornado of darkness.

"Boss! What the fuck is that!?" The spike-tailed Hellspawn yelled over to the bladed one who had a nervous look on his face.

"I don't know! Just get ready for whatever comes out of it!" The bladed one ordered to the other two bringing out his arm blades and waited for the tornado to settle down.

The darkness raged on for a while then it came crashing down on itself, leaving Blake standing alone, but something was different about him...he felt amazing! "Alright! Risabeel! I have no idea what you did! But it helped a lot!" He cheered not feeling any pain then looked around, confused. "Uh, Risabeel's gone? She was holding my hand, right?" Blake looked to his right hand in it wasn't Risabeel but a sword. "What the hell?" He brought the sword up to his face to get a better look at it.

It had a double-edged blade which was mostly silver with a black line running down the middle from the tip down to a completely black cross guard that had a purple gem at its center. Its hilt was a dark purple, and a small black pommel was at its end, all in all, it was a perfectly crafted weapon that felt...just right.

"Where the hell did you come from?" Blake asked the sword expecting it to answer him for some reason.

"Blake...?" Mari's whispered, causing Blake to take his eyes off the sword. "...Your head." Was all Mari said before she pointed to the sides of her head.

"Huh? My head?" Blake asked, bringing his free hand to the side of his head and felt something hard and bony then he noticed his reflection in the sword's blade and saw that he had grown a pair of black Demonic looking horns on his head. "Horns? Okay, I am very confused..." He was dumbfounded at this point then another thing got his mind working, feeling around a bit the holes put in him had closed up like they were never there and it felt like his bones weren't broke either. "What happened to me? And where the heck is Risabeel?"

The three Hellspawns were thinking the same thing, none of them made a move. "..." Instead, they just stared at Blake's new additions. "Boss, those horns look like Valac's and what's with that sword?" The armored one asked.

"I don't know, but that girl's gone too..." The Bladed one answered, taking some time to think. "It doesn't matter, just kill him, and we'll figure out the rest later!"

"Gladly!" The spike-tailed one agreed, quickly dashing towards Blake. "Get ready to have some holes put in you again!" He roared, darting around like he did before then went behind Blake, but this time a swift kick was sent his way knocking him back. "Arggh!" The Hellspawn groaned back-flipping to recover when he landed Blake was already in front of him. "What!?"

"Heh! I can keep up now, that's nice!" Blake smiled at the Hellspawn before driving his sword into the Hellspawn's body causing him to yell in pain then Blake did an upward slash cutting off one of his arms, disgusting green blood flying into the air then splashed onto the ground.

"AAARGGGH! FUCK! FUCK!" The Hellspawn roared monstrously as he uselessly tried to stop the fountain of blood gushing out from his side. "FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT! I WILL KILL YOU!" He cussed madly then leaped at Blake in a wild frenzy.

Blake used that to his advantage dodging to one side then with a swift swing of his sword Blake beheaded the Hellspawn, a Demonic spirit erupting out of his headless body. "That's for the holes!" Blake yelled, swinging his new sword so that the blood came off it, the other two Hellspawns stared wide-eyed at Blake but he didn't pay much mind to them he was more concerned with Risabeel's vanishing act and a sword left behind looking at it again. "Dammit! Risabeel, where the hell did you go?"

"Sir Blake! Look out behind us!" Risabeel's voice rang out in time to warn Blake about a massive punch from the armored Hellspawn that he blocked with his sword getting pushed back by it.

"Huh? Risabeel was that you?" Blake asked, holding up his sword to prepare for another attack from the Hellspawn.

"Why yes, it is, Sir Blake!" Risabeel answered, with her voice coming from the sword in Blake's hands.

"Oh, you just turned into a sword, cool..." Blake muttered then took a second to work that one through his head while taking a long hard stare at the sword. "...WAIT!? WHAAAAT!?" He yelled out suddenly, staring at the sword in disbelief and saw that the purple gem had a small glow to it and he somehow felt Risabeel's presence. "Ok, that's the fucking weirdest thing I've seen today, but what happened to me then?" He asked himself as things were getting harder and harder to understand at the moment.

"I do not know either, but whatever it was, it was likely what changed me as well." Risabeel tried, answering Blake's thoughts.

"You can read my mind too!?!" Blake said in amazement while looking more at the sword? Risabeel than the Hellspawns.

"Yes, I suppose I can? It is rather odd, though? It feels like I am still myself, but at the same time, I am also in the form of a blade," Risabeel answered, sounding calm despite her current state of being.

"Sounds confusing," Blake muttered then he realized something, he was using this sword which turned out to be Risabeel to kill a monster and covered her in disgusting green blood... "...Uh, sorry about earlier, you know? Using you to kill someone."

"It is alright, Sir Blake, you did not know until just now, so do not worry yourself, please," Risabeel said, trying what she thought was the best way to encourage him. "And if it means that you are able to protect yourself, then go right ahead."

"Heh, thanks, that's good to hear!" Blake smiled at the last two Hellspawns then pointed at them with Risabeel. "Cause I'm going to need something really sharp to deal with those bastards!"

"Bah! I don't care if that girl turned into a sword or a fucking axe!" The armored Hellspawn bellowed out, making a fist in each hand. "I'll just rip her out of your hand and use her to cut off your ba-" He was silenced by Blake ramming his elbow into the Hellspawn's stomach cracking his armor "Grrrr!"

"Just checking if I was stronger too, bad news for you big guy," Blake said playfully and backed off as the Hellspawn tried to at grab him. "No hugs, please."

"It's going to take more than that to put me down!" The Hellspawn yelled, striking out with his right arm, Blake ducked under it then came back up with upward slash cleaving the Hellspawn's chest, leaving a large gash in it that blood began pouring out of it. "Grrr, why you little!"

"That was for earlier..." Blake started then did a powerful thrust into the Hellspawn's chest with Risabeel stabbing through his heart. "...And this is just for fun!" He yelled, pulling Risabeel out with a twist turning the Hellspawn's heart into a bloody mess killing him as soon as that happened another Demon spirit crawled out of the Hellspawn's body and jumped at Blake's head.

"HEY! WHAT!? OW! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFFFFFF!" Blake cried out as the spirit tried to claw his face off while he tried getting it off of him like it was a crazy cat.

"Blake, it's gone now," Mari told Blake once the spirit was gone.

"Oh? Yea, you're right." Blake said embarrassed because he still had his hands waving in the air then quickly fixed himself back into a fighting stance like nothing happened and stared at the last of Hellspawn. "Ahem...okay, buddy, let's finish this already!"

The bladed Hellspawn glared at Blake, bringing out his arm blades sharpening them on each other. "You little fucker I'll gut you for my frien-" Before he could finish a spear of darkness impaled him from behind shocking him and Blake. "Aha! W-w-why?!" The Hellspawn looked back in horror as Valac was right there.

"..." But the child-sized Demon looked like he had better days, for starters, most of his clothes were either torn or burnt off in some way or another. "..." His face showed that he just went through something that was a complete and utter waste of his time but the worst of it wasn't Valac but behind him was Reiner knocked out with both him and his Garlan floating in the air by the power of dark mana.

"!" Blake and Mari were shocked to their cores Reiner, their father and strongest person they knew was beaten?! "YOU LITTLE FUCKER!" Blake yelled out at Valac with so much furry behind his words that dark purple mana began coming from him and Risabeel. "LET HIM GO!"

"..." Valac stared at Blake surging with dark mana, then at Risabeel in his hand and put on a scowl. "My, my, my...here I was planning on bringing this brutish mortal here after he forced me to use more power than I would ever want to waste on a mere mortal and show him that my three pets had torn you and that little girl to pieces so that his defeat would be all the sweeter." He explained then raised a hand to the Hellspawn he had impaled.

"WAIT! NO! PLEASE! I CAN STILL FIG-" The Hellspawn tried to beg for his life, but the spear just burst into black flames burning him to ash instantly.

"But instead I come here to see that two of my pets are dead and that the one I am here for has been turned into a weapon, *Sigh* such a hassle," Valac added, grabbing the bridge of his nose as he shook his head with his eyes closed. "Hmm?" When Valac opened his eyes, Blake was coming down on him with a furious slash, but before the blade could even reach Valac, a dark shield of mana appeared to protect him and knock Blake away with a powerful blast from the shield, putting him on his back.

"Argggh! That's not stopping me!" Blake flipped back onto his feet, then charged at Valac again with the same results.

"You would not do that! You may bring harm to lady Risabeel," Valac warned only for Blake to try again. "What did I just tell you, boy!" He snapped, forming a ball of dark mana in his hand. "Shadow Javelins!" Valac waved his hand in front of him to create five javelins of black mana that shot after Blake.

"Whoa!" Blake did his best to either dodge or block the oncoming javelins, but the last of them got a hit on his side, leaving a large gash. "Rgggh! Dammit!" Blake held his side as the wound felt like it was on fire.

"There will be more where those came from soon, hehe." Valac giggled as more javelins appeared around him, but he didn't send them out just yet instead he de-spelled them getting a twisted smile. "Or should I use this?" He asked, moving Garlan around so that it was in front of him. "This is such a powerful blade even if it was made by a mortal...I do wonder? Could you take a hit from it, hmm?" He hummed as he waved a finger back and forth with Garlan following along.

"Don't you dare use Reiner's sword!" Blake demanded at Valac's uncaring ear as he just smirked at Blake taunting him to attack which Blake fell for rushing up to Valac again. "Put it and Reiner down now!" Blake yelled, taking a swing at Valac but Garlan blocked it.

"So you would like to have a taste of it, would you?" Valac flicked his finger, and Garlan knocked Blake away then he swung his finger down with Garlan following the motion doing a downward slash on Blake which he blocked to Valac's amusement. "Oh? You have some skill in swordplay, I see? How nice!" He smiled as he moved his finger in all directions with Garlan following instantly.

"Grrr! I'm not losing to some Demon!" Blake countered every one of Valac's attack, which was a lot easier to do against a flying sword than javelins made of mana." RAAAH!" He kept at it until he clashed with Garlan, it and Risabeel sending sparks flying. "I will kick your ass!"

Valac smirked at Blake's words getting into the fight now then pulled his hand back while charging Garlan with some of his mana which left a worried look on Blake's face. "Now what did that brute call his attack...ah yes! Maxus Boom!" He swiped his hand out, and Garlan swung at Blake at top speed.

"Shit! It's too fast to dodge! This is going to hurt, like hell!" Blake thought, choosing to try and block the attack by holding Risabeel up on his right side once it connected a massive black explosion covered Blake on all sides and as the smoke cleared Blake was breathing heavily but was still standing with burn marks all over him. "*pant* That was *pant* not cool *pant* hey, Risabeel you okay?" He groaned, slowing holding up Risabeel.

"..." When Valac heard that he got a terrified look on his face. "Oh dear! Oh dear! I forgot lady Risabeel was that sword! If I had put more power behind that, I could have hurt her, and then his lordship would have more than just my soul!" He thought, bringing a hand to his face while Garlan floated in front of him.

"Yes, I am well," Risabeel answered softly shaken up from just taking a bomb to the face to which both Blake and Valac breathed a sigh of relief at hearing Risabeel's voice.

"Good to hear, but do you have any ideas for dealing with that kid?" Blake asked her while keeping his eyes on Valac who was standing with arms crossed even if he could get past Garlan this Demon brat still has that mana shield as back up.

"Well, Sir Blake, why not try the same attack you usually do with your other sword?" Risabeel offered.

Blake thought the idea over a bit, it could work all he'd have to do is the same thing he does with his Swift Sparrow Sword and the worst thing that could happen would be it all blowing up in his face which has happened already. "Let's give it a shot!" He agreed with Risabeel's plan taking a tight grip on her and focused, causing dark purple mana to flow through himself and into Risabeel's blade.

Valac looked amused by this not even bordering on stopping Blake. "My, my, you've gotten a bit of control over Demonic mana, eh? Well go ahead and try beating a Demon at his own game, hah!" He laughed, holding a finger at the ready with Garlan following its movement.

"Then we'll just outplay you, Demon boy!" Blake rushed up to Valac and came down with a powerful downward slash.

Valac blocked it with Garlan. "Oh, my, sooo brutish, and here I thought you were going to do something more interesting, how boring...hmm?" He smirked, but that quickly went away when he noticed that Blake was cutting through Garlan's steel. "What!?!"

"GO BACK TO THE UNDERWORLD!" Blake yelled after tearing through Garlan and finished his slash, which sent a wave of purple mana that hit Valac's shield.

"NEVER!" Valac tried to reinforce his shield, but he didn't have the time as Blake's attack tore right through it then slammed into him. "GUAH!" It sent him flying into the air, but before he could hit the ground, a pair of black wings came out from his back letting him float in the air with a massive slash running down his body.

"RGH!" He bled inky black blood, and the gash was giving off dark purple mana that felt like he was burning from the inside out. "Ngh! You are! Rgh! Lucky today, boy!" He spat out some blood with each word and held his chest tightly. "I shall bid you farewell for now! But mark my words, I shall have lady Risabeel in time!" He vowed then flew up into the night sky disappearing into the darkness.

"WOOOOOOOO! WE KICKED HIS ASS! YEA!" Blake cheered, throwing his hands into the air with a big smile on his face. "Ugh..." Only for him to slowly fall on his back, passing out with the sound of the Risabeel and Mari calling out to him. "Shut it. I want to sleep..."
