《She, the one (old)》Chapter ten: A small hope and the next steps

I know I’m slightly turning mad. I know. I know I’m at fault, yet not. I lack common sense and experience. I understand that there are things I can’t do anything about.
But this thing I’ve done, the neck I’m gripping, this is my fault. I slowly release her. I’m quite sure my heart beats like crazy, blood is racing in my veins. Hearing the blood flowing through my entire body, listening to it’s song, I notice another rhythm. A weak, slow throbbing between my hands.
Is she alive? I broke her neck, even I would die from that. I gently touch her neck. I see no internal bleeding and her bones are not damaged. Why did she faint then? Oxygen deficit, no that was too quick. Pain?
Please stay alive.
I gently lift her up, and run into the shadows. Quickly pacing through alleys, avoiding guards, I try to find a place to hide. After minutes of searching I find nothing that’s safe enough. I decide to wager and try sneaking into the storage room of the inn I was attacked. She seemed to trust that guy.
Checking from the roof I realise there are no one in the inn part anymore. Guards are searching for me and the citizens are on curfew probably. They didn’t think I’d come back here. Me neither.
I quckly open the storage room door. After placing her down on a cloth I found there, I go to the other side. A door leading inside the kitchen. I push the door slowly, fearing to make a noise. Spying from a small gap, I notice the back of the guy. I whistle quietly, then back away without closing the door.
I grab a vegetable from the shelf next to me, and place it on the shelf’s edge sticking out, then move to the other side of the door hiding behind a large wine barrel.
The man is coming this way, I hear his footsteps. Suddenly pushing open the door he’s searching for the origin of the sound he heard. As the door hits the shelf next to it, the prepared lure falls and splashes. Turning towards that direction the old man readies himself for a thief.

I jump over the barrels and grab his mouth from behind and pin him down on the ground.
“It’s me, the demon. Char-... -needs help. I’ll release you if you can promise to stay quiet.”
He nods. He seemed scared when I grabbed him, but now he’s strangely calm now. I let him go.
(InnGuy) “What happened to Charlot?” He is looking in my eyes, like he cant look elsewhere. Is he in love with her?
I don’t say a word and motion him to follow me. We go to the other side of the room, where I hid the girl behind some boxes.
“She’s fine for now, but she’ll be in a huge pain when she wakes up. I... Can reduce the pain, but you need to get her a healer mage. Soon.”
Looking strangely at me, he takes something from his pouch. Raising it in front of me, he’s looking at me with doubt.
(InnGuy) “Can't a potion help her?” I get confused hearing that.
“What’s a potion?” Blankly staring at me, he realises I really know nothing of it.
(InnGuy) “It’s a magic potion. Same as healing magic, it can heal the wounded. You have to drink it usually, but I can pour it on the injury, only the effect gets weaker.”
I just stare at him. Magic potion? There is such thing? I suddenly take it away from him and pour it in my mouth. He’s looking at me like I’m crazy, probably he does not know people can made to drink even unconscious. Or deas he think I want it for myself?
I kiss her and use my tongue to stimulate her larynx. The potion is in her stomach now. I back away and wipe the saliva off my mouth. Since this is the best time, I bite her gently. I probably release some kind of aphrodisiac in heat, it should work for pain.

“Take care of her please, and don't let her do anything until my poison wears off”
Standing up I start to walk away, but I’m stopped.
(InnGuy) “Where are you going? Forget it, if you go out you can’t leave the city without killing many. Stay here.”
“I won’t” I don’t want to be near others at the moment. I’m in heat and barely containing it in.
I walk out and run towards the dark night. Alleys, roofs, they are just tiny obstacles. The patrolling guards are a little hard to avoid, so I go head to the slum district. There’ll less there. It's maybe a slum for them, but it’s heaven compared to the cell I was in. I notice a few empty buildings.
I head to a place where no one seems to live in a 40 meter radius. In the middle there is a small magic power that emits something that makes people want to go away from there. Good for me.
When I arrive I realise it is a magic workshop. There is a notice on the door, nothing else out of the place. I read it.
[The owner was murdered on the 43th of Lightmoon.
The new owner is the city.
Selling price: 50 G]
Is it cheap or expensive? It’s quite funny that I worth more than a whole magic workshop. It’s a two storey building with many rooms. Probably equipment too. Well, normal people would be scared away from the magic, and it’s in the slums. Of course no one buys it.
I try go in, but the door is reinforced with magic. I climb to the roof and force open a window. It seems this was not enchanted. Who could break in from the roof? A thief probably. Maybe he was stupid. Or the magic on the front door was cast by the city later on.
Inside I find various equipments. I can’t recognise anything. There is a full sized mirror on the wall.
Oh, I just realised I was naked the whole time. I understand the guy’s glares now. There is still some semen between my legs. I… Shit… No, no don’t think, don’t remember. No you WON’T. I punch the innocent mirror in front of me, breaking it in pieces.
This calmed me down. Ok. Let’s wash up and sleep! Yay! Happy!
I head to a room downstairs that seems like a bathroom. Is it a water-room? Whatever. There is a square shaped device here, with an empty hole. I need to input magic here probably.
I put my hands in, and force magic out through my hands. What a waste of my powers, is what I thought, but it actually starts working. A tank of water starts to get filled. A bath!
I jump in and let myself submerge. Washing myself for the first time comfortably. The “maiden in the lake” is romantic, but it’s quite distressing. And I’m not a maiden. At least mentally.
While washing my body thoroughly, I finally notice, I shrunk. Literally. First a 6 year old, then a 16 year old and a 13 year old now. GREAT! or not.
After I finished, of course I started to discover this house! There might be some valuables and food! Oh, the food is probably rotten anyway…
Oh! I didn’t notice it before but behind the mirror I broke was a hidden room. It holds the magic device that keeps people out. Nothing that would interest me unfortunately. Let’s continue tomorrow. I’m a little too exhausted.
I find the bed and collapse on it right away. Good night me....

From Ninja to Pirate
Life can be difficult, hard and painful. Who am I kidding? Most of you probably have already experienced first-hand, all the difficulties, hardships and pains in life that I talk of, so rather than listen to me teach the lessons on how you should stay strong and look forward to the good things, I think you'd much rather prefer me to just get on with my story, and that's exactly what I'll do.My name was Uzumaki Naruto. I was a genin of the hidden village of the leaves, and the team-mate of Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura. My parents were the Fourth Hokage and the Jinchuuriki of the nine-tailed fox before me, and I was what people called, a failure. But now, the story has reversed. No more failure. No more Naruto. No more ninja.I am Akagami D. Natsuki, a girl who challenges the world, in the era of pirates! All credits go to Oda Eiichiro and Kishimoto Masashi for writing One Piece and Naruto. This is a fanfiction I wrote for my own pleasure. Please don't judge it too harshly... I have checked for spelling and grammar mistakes, but just in case there is the occasional mistake, please comment on it, rather than insult me. From personal experience, I have seen people insulting my grammar, with a comment akin to:"Cant u even spell 'mom' correctly? It's 'mom' not 'mum' you idiot!!!" So, please, don't insult me like that... It really ruins my day, which might have already been awful... Also, I apologise if they get really overpowered, or sound really arrogant... I don't mean it that way, but that's how it is read, so I'm sorry before hand. Well done for making it this far, and thank you for reading. noelicoan.
