《The Skywalker Chronicles》Chapter 8

After I had dried, I put the clothing I had been wearing yesterday back on. I picked up the axe I had brought in with me and started making my way out of the house. The back door I had been using was already unbarred, the 4 by 4 used was now stored vertically behind the door. I walked out and decided that my first order of business had better be to go down to the lake and wash off. I was surprised that when I came up to the lake the shore was actually a sandy beach.
Stripping off, I walked into the water and started to scrub myself down. The dried evidence of my morning became slimy again but was quickly rubbed off. No soap, no shampoo, more things to add to my list of things to make. I went back to shore and grabbed the shirt and pants I had been wearing and dipped them into the lake water. I am no expert in washing by hand and so I just dipped the clothes in water and ringed it out. I repeated the act 3 more times and called it done. My identity as a voyeur has already been established and so walked back with wet clothing in hand, axe over my shoulder and shrinkage to show for my efforts. I laid the shirt and pants on a couple of logs for the morning sun to dry and started on my task of splitting logs. With the now rejuvenated axe, the task was relatively easy. Just the weight of the axe was able to split most of the logs and the task finally progressed.
The sun was now high and going strong, instead of suffering under it I felt energized. It was like I was photosynthesizing the sun’s rays. Not wanting to cut off my new attachment to the sun, I only put the pants on, leaving myself bare chested. I have always stayed fit but was never muscular. Now my arms and legs were bulged slightly and were corded tight, my abs now had the outline of a six pack. I stopped splitting the logs into its larger counterpart and starting to manufacture kindling instead. The kindle box quickly filled and I use my axe blade to cut a few handfuls of the tall grass. It was time to use some of those buy scout skills I have had and got second hand from YouTube videos. I grabbed a few strand of grass and started rubbing them on my pants leg.

As the fibers twisted, they started turning into twine. As I rubbed and added in more fibers, my piece of twine started getting longer and longer. As I went along my mind went on autopilot and I didn’t even notice that I had ran out of material until my searching hand touched nothing but wood. I looked at my creation and was stunned. Instead of some makeshift twisted grass, my cord was beautifully weaved like a paracord. I had used magic again, this time without passing out. As it looked like it was just about noon, I walked over to the pile of split wood and assembled a bundle, tied it up with my paracord and started back at the house.

Quebracho: The Legend of Two Heroes
After a violent and tough battle, you recover in an infirmary with your fellow soldiers, or in a more relatable scenario, visit your friend's house after a hard day of studying. You’d expect that both of them would play out normally for the most part, right? Well... Maxon Cortez and Jason McGuire had the same thoughts too. Yet, fate has different plans for them: Max ends up in an eerie location he doesn’t recognize and Jace gets transported to an entirely different world that works like a video game (sort of) by walking into a portal. As they travel along the lands, the two of them will encounter other individuals of many kinds, make friends new and old, gain powerful abilities, experience spectacular adventures, and obtain priceless treasures. However, Maxon and Jason will unknowingly become integral parts of a nefarious conspiracy that, if successful, will plunge both of their worlds into eternal chaos and darkness. So it’s up to them and their allies to thwart it. Side-Note: I’ll admit right off the bat that this story will be my first attempt at writing a LitRPG, so the in-game mechanics and terminology will probably look weird and be even nonsensical. If you notice something that’s out-of-place or just flat out wrong, I apologize. Not only that, it's been a while since I've wrote anything and thus I'm a little bit rusty. So please bear with me. New chapters once every Saturday or Sunday. Also, I'll be fine-tuning the grammar, punctuation, and spelling when I have the time. So expect a lot of random edits. This story is also available on ScribbleHub.

Against of backdrop of escalating tensions, double-sided revelations of first contact ripple through all involved as the probe attempts the first landing on the ice of Europa. The novel intertwines perspectives of Earth and under Europa as all struggle for truth. For fifteen years, the Europa Clipper has hinted at life under the ice-shell of Europa. An eccentric mogul, bent on expanding his legacy—funds and launches the first privately funded probe to Jupiter. The robotic submarine can reach the ocean floor and returning by an expertly trained AI. Tensions flare between the United States and China, while cyberattack threatens the project. Meanwhile, Dalton, a self-sabotaging synthetic data engineer, longs to make a name for himself in the scientific community, even at the cost of being infamous. Unknown to Earth, alien society has penetrated up the kilometers of ice, and has long researched ‘Nullworld,’ the mysterious ‘ether’ beyond the ice from which no sonar returns. Tensions in their global society have escalated as their city-state fights with a neighbor whose hydrothermal vent has run cold. Now the military caste is in control, halted all research, and pressed capable scientists and engineers into militia service. The alien scientist must escape and bring back research he hopes will diffuse tensions: the revelation of another water world. This is the second hard sci-fi novel by author Eric Kay (No Lack of Sunshine). It explores issues of data integrity in the age of adversarial information warfare, moving minds away from the brink of war, and experience versus knowledge by proxy.
8 84Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Rob is an unremarkable young man. Lonely, unmotivated and may very well be stuck in a dead-end job. Nothing to look forward to but see his days repeat like any other, and he does not appear to take interest in anything besides frequenting a cafe, drinking and smoking. There is a lack of rhythm and melody in this gent's life. That is, until his coworker, Lisa begins to accompany him for coffee. And perhaps the questionable dreams he begins to have. And Elizabeth was in it. A sad child, really. Do not expect much.
8 182A Dark Past (Aphmau FNAF meets MyStreet)
When an old friend of Aphmau's past returns, her friends begin to question Aphmau's excuses for coming home late from her night job. Eventually, curiosity gets the best of them and they push it too far, only to find a dark secret. Not even a healed mind, can fix a broken heart.-----------------------------I do not own Aphmau's characters or her Mystreet/FNAF roleplays. I do own my OC Jay.
