《Rebirth of the Heavenly General》Chapter 3: Breaking the Heavenly Laws!

General Yang found himself in a constricted place. The walls of this place were smooth and dark pink in color. The place seemed small but he didn't feel uncomfortable. In fact, he strangely felt very serene and peaceful. This was a first for General Yang.
Muffled voices could be heard coming from beyond the wall. General Yang calmly inspected his surroundings and pondered where he could be. One thing for sure was that he could confirm that he was inspecting everything through his Divine Consciousness. He extended his senses and strangely discovered his body to by just a tiny, extremely tiny soft round drop of liquid.
General Yang was puzzled and he focused on his memories, he had a feeling he knew what this round liquid was. He concentrated and the next moment, he discovered another anomaly.
'My memories, they aren't complete' he thought. He tried recalling what he did the last time and the next moment, he recollected everything.
'That abomination, the betrayal of Imperial Adviser, the death of River Goddess…' General Yang began remembering everything and when he finally did, he was shaken. He recognized what this round liquid was and it was not its existence that shook him but realizing that this round liquid thing was him.
'How can it be possible? Heavenly Deities can never reincarnate as they become a part of the Heavens and how is it that I have my memories as well'
Even after thinking for a long time, he couldn't find an answer to his situation. If it was possible for Heavenly Deities to reincarnate, the Jade Emperor would've not made him just spend 10,000 years within the lowest levels of Hell but also would've made him reincarnate as a pig.
General Yang sighed and stopped thinking about it. He couldn't get an answer and it would be better to think about something else. He had noticed that he had memory gaps. He couldn't recall his early life which should've been easy for a person of his stature but it doesn't seem so.
'The only thing I can think of is that last strike that I used to kill the abomination and destroy the space crac…' General Yang suddenly recalled another thing, something for an extremely great importance. He hurriedly focused on all the Marital Arts, Cultivation Techniques and the Dao he possessed. He, yet again, became shocked but this shock affected him the most.
'No…no everything is gone. All the martial arts and cultivation techniques I procured, and most importantly my Dao' General Yang despaired. He had in his possession many, many great martial arts and cultivation techniques which allowed him to become a Heavenly Soldier and ultimately Heavenly General and now all of them were gone. He would've been able to bear the loss of those things but Dao is something that no one could bear the loss of.
Dao is the understanding of a certain path one pursues, and it's connected to the Soul. Those so called Heaven Defying geniuses were actually reincarnated individuals who had high attainments in the Dao that they were pursuing. Only now did General Yang truly realize that what made him kill the abomination and close the space crack wasn't just him burning his Life Essence and increasing his power for a limited time but his very Dao. He had not only sacrificed his life for the Realms, but also his future potential.
General Yang sighed as he calmed his feelings. What's gone is gone, he had to think about the future.
'Well even if I lost my Dao and all the techniques that I knew I have still retained the knowledge and experience of cultivation from my previous life' General Yang became optimistic about the situation. Although he didn't retain his Dao, it would only mean he needed to work harder because even if one has certain achievements in Dao from their previous life, that doesn't mean they would achieve greatness in their new life. They had to work hard, and only then their Daos would make their paths easier.

'Now I need to go into deep meditation to try and recover any memories if possible and if not, then consolidate my current ones so that i don't lose them. In this new life of mine, these are the only advantages I have' General Yang thought. Deep meditation was a practice that every cultivator used to calm their Spirits and think clearly. It is also used to stabilize and increase Spiritual Essence of a cultivator which is useful for many things.
General Yang was one of the strongest Heavenly Deities in Heavenly Realm and for him to go into deep meditation needed only a single thought.
.....
Time passed gradually and a whole twelve months passed while General Yang was in deep mediation before a sudden disturbance woke him up. Normally, he would've woken up when it was time to go out from his mother's womb but something caused him to wake up early.
Coming out of deep meditation, General Yang's spirit was livelier than ever. Although he didn't retain any of the lost memories, he did consolidate the ones he had with him and made it so that it won't be lost unless an external factor affects it.
General Yang spread his Divine Consciousness and it extended till Five meters. When he had just gained consciousness in his new life, his Divine Consciousness only extended till a mere 50 centimeters and now it was a whole five meters. Four meter and fifty centimeter progress in twelve months was not bad at all.
General Yang's new body was completely formed and it seemed to be only a few days before he would be born into the outer world. Although he was in deep meditation, it was the best he had every experienced because the place he was in made deep meditation even more effective. He had grown attached to this place and became reluctant to leave it.
General Yang returned his attention to the disturbance that woke him up. Spreading his Divine Consciousness, General Yang inspected his mother's body. He suddenly frowned when he noticed something in his mother's bone marrow.
'What is this? It seems some sort of poison' General Yang thought as he focused his Divine Consciousness on it. He was a General in his previous life, the only thing he was best at was Fighting and leading his army. He didn't have enough time for other things such as Alchemy, Blacksmithing etc.
General Yang pondered about this poison and he unintentionally opened his eyes. He immediately noticed something different about his eyes. What he was seeing from his right eye was pure darkness but the sight that he obtained from his left eye left him flabbergasted.
From his left eye, General Yang could see the pink walls of his mother's womb with extreme clarity. Even at his peak in his previous life, he hadn't seen anything with such clarity. He decided to ignore this change for now and focus on the poison in his mother's bone marrow.
When General Yang looked up and directly at the direction where the poisoned bone marrow was present, a sudden change took place. General Yang's vision literally tore through the pink walls of his mother's womb, the organs in her body, the bone and directly gazed at the poisoned bone marrow which was purple in color. The next moment, his mind was filled with strange knowledge that had come out of nowhere.
-Marrow Clotting Poison: 11th Rank Mortal Poison. White grade purity pill concocted by 11th Tier Alchemist clogs the marrow of with special poison which converts the normal blood into a poisonous one and releases it into the whole body. Slow acting poison used to kill a person painfully. If used on a pregnant woman, the child will be born with a weak body and slow mind. Weakness: Inflicts only one bone marrow, Changes the color of the inflicted bone marrow to purple which could be seen on the skin and mistaken for a bruise, 12th Grade Pill Blood Rejuvenation Pill greatly negates the affect…-

General Yang couldn't make head or tails of what was happening. He calmed his mind and began thinking about this strange turn of events. After a short while, his eyes brightened in realization.
'My left eye, of course how could I forget' General Yang thought ecstatically. 'That Eye in the Ruin which I discovered. I had a gut feeling that it is a very special eye and even tore my own left eye to implant the one I found. I had only placed it in my left eye socket before it connected itself without me breaking a sweat. From that day, although I never found its use, I didn't discard it and kept it'
'To think that the Eye cam…' General Yang paused as he thought of a possibility 'Don't tell me that this eye was the thing that broke the Heavenly Laws and made me, a Heavenly Deity reincarnate?'
General Yang thought the possibility was extremely feasible. The eye followed him to his second life and if it did, it must mean that it was responsible for making him reincarnate.
General Yang refocused his attention on the poison in mother's bone marrow. Internally, a tsunami of rage was brewing but he didn't release. His mother's life was a priority now and after it was taken care of, the culprit wouldn't get away scot free.
General Yang thought about the all weaknesses of the poison revealed to him and he focused on a single weakness and recalled a detail of the ruin where he found the Eye in.
'That ruin where I found the Eye had the purest Essence that I had ever seen and it was also the main reason I became Heavenly General because of the boost I gained after absorbing it. If memory serves me right, Blood Rejuvenation Pill purifies the blood and it is also negates the effect of the poison. If I purify my mother's blood enough, the poison could be dealt with completely and she would also gain a complete immunity against it' General Yang pondered. He focused on his left eye and next moment a suction force originated from it. This suction was somewhat strong but nothing that he isn't able to control.
General Yang focused on the Blood Essence present inside the Blood of his mother. The Essence slowly started being extracted from the blood and entered within his left eye and the moment it did, General Yang suddenly found himself in an entirely different world.
Within this world, the sky was beautiful azure with clouds scattered and the water was extremely clear, it was so clear that one may mistake himself in middle of a sky. General Yang had never seen such beautiful sight and before long, his gaze landed on the Golden Colored book in the middle of this beautiful space.
General Yang looked at his own body and saw it to be his previous life's one. He slowly took a step forward and moved towards the golden book. The book was as big as a normal book and it was fairly thick. The moment General Yang's hand touched the golden book; a ripple came out from it that went through him towards the horizon. He felt a connection with the golden book, a very deep one.
General Yang slowly opened the book and the first page was revealed to him. On the top middle, the title of the golden book was written. Although it was in a language he had never heard of before, he could understand it.
'The Empyrean's Tome' General Yang softly spoke the name of the golden book or rather tome in his mind. 'A domineering name' he commented inside his heart. That was the only thing written on the first page.
Turning to the second page, something else was written.
-Balance: 3 Mortal Rank Tier 0 Blood Essence
-Mortal Rank Tier 1 Bone: 100 Mortal Rank Tier 0 Blood Essence
-Mortal Rank Tier 2 Bone: 200 Mortal Rank Tier 1 Blood Essence
-Mortal Rank Tier 3 Bone: 300 Mortal Rank Tier 2 Blood Essence
…
General Yang's eyes widened in surprise as he could imagine what this meant. General Yang started feeling that his rank of the Heavenly General was actually quite useless and the pride he had was childlike. He felt his horizons broadened as he truly accepted that he was nothing but a frog in the well, or rather a Heavenly General in the well who didn't know how vast the sky is.
Every single person has 206 and normal people usually have what is called Tier 0 Bones. There certain special people who have higher tier bones and those people are stronger at the same level of strength than a person who has lower tier bones.
From what General Yang could infer, the golden tome could somehow increase the Bone Tiers. Increasing Bone Tiers is actually not a shocking thing but it isn't also easy that anyone is able to do it. Only wealthy clans would spend money on their most talents heirs and increase their Bone Tiers, and disciples in well off Sects could also earn to gain Bone Tier increment pills.
'Higher Bone Tier means more purified blood, it seems like I have finally discovered a method to cure my mother' General Yang thought in relief. He saw that he had only managed to absorb 3 Tier 0 Blood Essences from his mother. He needed 97 more to increase his mother's Bone tier to 1 for it to fight off the poison.
General Yang departed from the world and stated absorbing more Blood Essence from his mother. As he was absorbing the Blood Essence, General Yang found out that he could keep tabs how much he had absorbed. After this discovery, he increased the suction force and within a short while, he had gathered 100 Tier 0 Blood Essence from his mother but he also noticed that it was almost depleted inside his mother.
General Yang hurriedly entered the beautiful space again and moved toward the golden tome. Opening it, he focused his attention on the first option, [Mortal Rank Tier 1 Bone] and his target was his mother.
The golden tone shone with resplendent light as from General Yang's left eye, a golden ray came out engulfed his mother internally. A single bone of hers slowly started changing and before long, his mother possessed a single Tier 1 Bone.
The evolved bone Tier started working its magic and it started releasing Tier 1 Blood Essence, albeit a bit slowly. A single unit of Tier 1 Blood Essence was enough to rejuvenate his mother's entire blood and the poison within her bone marrow was suppressed almost instantly.
General Yang became relived that the poison was suppressed. Now he just had to wait to be born and meet his mother in this life time.

Suddenly I felt someone straddle my back. I gasped and my eyes flew open as I swung my hands forward to push myself up and whatever was on me off. I groaned as I fell back down to the heavy weight, someone was on top of me. The person grabbed my hands and held them above my head with a firm grip. "P-please let go of m-me" I choked out, tears starting to run down my face from fear. "You are so beautiful." A male voice whispered in my ear as he grabbed my bottom, squeezing it.I screamed but got cut off as he put his hand over my mouth, flipping my body around. He was now sitting on my middle section. He was wearing all black, I could tell that it was the man from earlier. He has a cloth mask on, opening for his eyes and mouth only. Cold brown eyes met my green ones and I whined in fear as he stayed deadly still, studying my face.My shirt had rode up past my belly button during the struggle and his eyes raked over my showing skin, lust filling them. I struggled, trying to move my legs and arms to get away but he was too strong. "If you scream again, I'm going to kill you." He growled. I groaned in response, tears running down my face. He slowly released his hand from my mouth and reached into his pocket pulling out a knife and zip tie. I figured that if I didn't scream I would want to die if this man took me so I did what I had to do. I let out a bloodcurdling scream loud enough to wake up the whole entire neighborhood.
