As the corpse of Henrietta fell to the moss floor with little sound her former ally's were non the wiser as they were reaching the 3rd pillar and burned that one too. as the blue flames engulf the pillar the leafs around the 3rd pillar start to shift as to coil them self's around the pillar, by doing this Lucas and Polos are encircled by them.

As they were being encircled Lucas was panicking while polos was expressionless as he charged one of the leafs into a battle roll with his two-handed sword swinging from Polos back into the leafs stalk, the leaf is severed with it creating a hole in the encirclement in which the next moment both Lucas and polos escape though just before the noose was tightened.

The goblin-fish was in awe at the spectacle in-front of her to the point she was gobsmacked.

this scene of encirclement then polos breaking though kept happening till both he and Lucas got to the 4th pillar but at the most unfortunate time Lucas's mana went to 0 at this time more than a third of the leafs were gone and the 4th pillar was being set alight, the aquamarine helmet stops glowing and water starts to invade the helmet but as the water was about to cover his nose the helmet glows again with it venting the water back out of the helmet.

From seeing this Ruby was confused, till she remembered when while she was trailing them and viewing their stats Lucas's mana went to 20 then went back up to 25 after a few seconds's then it hit her.

As Lucas breathed in after nearly drowning like Henrietta did he said with a thin weak voice while he lights the 4th pillar on fire.

From this statement polos only nods and continues to cut the leafs down, a moment later the earth trembles as all the bubbles separating the duo and the 5th pillar all pop signaling the second phase so to speak, the 4 burned pillars start to rumble as they are extracted from the ground into 4 very large clubs that become mossy as a green/purple goo over the pillar clubs, for the protection 5th pillar.

In there counter to the transformation polos charges the last pillar since he knows there tank is incapacitated while Lucas should quickly burn the pillar so he plans to take the hit, to enforce this Lucas does the same but just behind polos footsteps.

as one of the pillar's clubs crashes from the side into them polos tries to take the hit in place of Lucas with that being able but in the process he gets sent flying with a clump of the moss falling off and landing onto polos neck, as he crashed into the moss floor a large 'thump' sound is heard, after his landing polos never gets up but Ruby knows better as she swims slowly to the man.

polos lays in the same position as he was hit in on the floor and with this only one word comes to mind -paralyzed-, as Ruby swims forward into polos view he shows a face of shock as he is completely helpless to the crimson eyed goblin fish staring at him, within seconds Ruby had swam to polos neck before ripping his neck out for all the nice fresh water to kill him thought the same method of Henrietta.

Before polos could even scream for help his lungs were full of water and he died without being able to lift a finger to defend himself and with his 'noble' sacrifice 5 screens appear in-front of ruby.
