《Blue mage》Chapter 6: First boss

I had hunted some more of those snakes and almost got the skill, [Mana Body(Ancient) 92%], now I was prowling around hunting for more. As I was ‘silently’ walking through the forest at 26 feet tall, I noticed that some of the nearby trees had been crushed, like a very large snake had coiled around the tree and crushed it. Hm, nice this might be the last snake I needed to get the skill. In my haste, I didn’t notice the much larger groves from the snake passing or the fact that the crushed trees were at least twice as thick as the previous ones.
As I started to notice that maybe, just maybe I the snake I was hunting was a little bigger than I was expecting, I heard some slight rustling around 30 feet from me. I turn my head and peer into the brush only to spot a small snake that was coiled up. I frown in confusion, it looked like the snakes I was hunting, only smaller, was it a baby? That was my last thought before it launched itself at me. At first, I thought it was funny, it was barely one foot long. Then it expanded to at least 50 feet long and torpedoed into me.
“Oh fuck.” Like a spring it slammed into me sending my massive form flying like a ragdoll. As I tumbled through the forest, I had a crazy thought that this was going to hurt. I was right as I smash through a couple of trees before finally hitting one that didn’t snap. After standing up I can’t find the stupid snake only for it to coil strike me again. This time I was somewhat ready, taking a deep breath I blast that snake with Breath of the Wyvern(Epic). The beam pushes the snake off course, it slams into a tree shattering it.

The snake quickly shrunk down again and hid. I’m looking around for the snake before it again launches itself at me. I try to repeat the previous feat but the snake shrinks down midway and the blast misses.
‘Oh shit, it’s adapting fast’ I thought as the snake again torpedoed me from behind launching me through the trees again. Picking myself up I start to rethink my strategy. I should probably try can grab the snake in its small mode. Nodding to myself I get ready to enact my plan.
Soon the snake comes flying and I use Claw of the Departed Dragon(Uncommon) to force it to shrink. Then my hand rocketed out and grabs the slippery fucker, only for it to supersize. Breaking all of my fingers and my wrist on that hand. “Oh shit, should have thought of that,” I say while cradling my broken hand.
As I try and dodge the very large snake by forcing fire out of my mouth, I come to realize that I could just aim for where the snake would be after it shrunk. Mentally patting myself on the back, I try out my new idea. It works! For three passes then it only shrinks part of its body each time messing up where it would be. Fuck.
I’ve now come to realize that this snake is probably smarter than me, and the only to beat it is to stop trying to be smart and just kill it. The next time that snake launches itself at me, I tackle it. This goes poorly as it is 50 feet long and probably weighs a couple of tons.
As we are sent flying through the woods I started to bite and claw the snake. When it shrunk I grabbed it in a very loose grip to trick it into expanding. When it did expand I hit it with a bar of fire to the face, which I know is very uncomfortable. When we hit the ground and a wrestling match ensues I now find myself with the upper hand.

Which does not last long as it manages to coil around me, despite my efforts. As it starts to compress I do the only thing I can think of, sustained Breath of the Wyvern(Epic). I take a deep breath and unleash the flame into the snake’s body that is starting to crush my skull.
The fire rages inside the tight confines of a giant coiled snake quickly burning through the scales. After the normal second is up I keep funneling energy into the fires to keep them burning this awful snake.
The Snake now realizing that it is in fact burning from the inside, shifts into its smaller form only for me to grab it with my working hand and keep lighting that stupid fucking snake up. After a couple of failed escape attempts, the snake finally stops moving. That may be due to the fact that it’s now two parts.
Stopping the raging inferno coming out of my mouth, I fall to my knees in exhaustion. Then I ate the snake.

They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.

Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
