James Earl Jones, named for the actor of the same name, was a good, honest man. He was born and raised in rural Georgia by his single mother. He was an only child who loved to read. Spending much of his free time at the local library. He developed a fondness for computers. Finding he had a great affinty for coding, and working with information systems.

He spent all his life doing the right thing, it was just how his mother had raised him. There were those who would call him a hillbilly due to growing up in rural Georgia on a dirt farm. They called his mother a whore, because she was the only one taking care of him, his father having run off before he was born.

He did not let it bother him though, even when he moved away to attend university in California at the age of 18, on a Technolgy scholarship. As he drove off to university, his mother cried and he cried, but he had to be strong for her.

James was a smart man with great friends, the kind that would always make redneck jokes about him, only for him to fire back with a joke of his own. His Asian friend John would call him the smartest cousin fucker ever, and James would call him the dumbest buck-toothed Asian he had ever meet, and then they would laugh. They introduced him to what would be some of his favorite hobbies and likes, memes, video games, and anime.

He loved the anime Overlord especially. Oh, what he would do in Ainz’s place. Little did he know. Together with his friends his time in university flew by. When the time came to graduate, he cried not wishing to bid farewell to his treasured friends. But all good things must come to an end. That end however, was not the one he expected.

Dressed in his graduation attire he and his friends walked across the street to the field where the ceremony was being held. Many of his fellow classmates watching some live news broadcast about a guy in a stolen taco truck fleeing police. James could hear the sirens but failed to realize just how close they were. Suddenly the sound of screeching tires could be heard as James and his friends turned, only to see the very same truck drifting around the corner. All less than 100 feet from James and his classmates. There was no time, he heard the engine, “This son of a bitch is gunning it!”

He had seconds to get out of the way but two of his friends were in the path. He was moving before he realized it, he grabbed them and threw them from the path of the oncoming truck. His final thoughts as the world seemed to stand still in that moment starring down his certain death, “At least my friends are safe.” And as the moment persisted, “Wait a minute, am I about to be…” The truck struck him full force, he never had a chance. So, in that moment he heard the beating of soft wings, and death took him.

James found himself in an endless black space floating. His response to this place being, “Well I’m dead, shit.” He sweared, another thing his friends had taught him, because his mother would never have allowed it. But she was not here. “Well is anyone out there or is this all there is?” there was no response, not in words, more a feeling. He felt that there was a choice, then one by one, points of light appeared, much like stars, until there were too may, until all this place was white with them.

He knew that every one of those dots was a place to go, and since this place was white, all places were open to him. He turned inward; he could go anywhere he wanted. Then he remembered, “What would I do in his place?” He felt himself begin to be pulled from his right, 'No, not in his place, he wanted to meet him too much.' He felt the pull change he began accelerating forward. His path had been chosen. He thought to struggle, but he knew he should not. All he felt as he drifted off to sleep, was a warm feeling, almost like a smile, and so he smiled, thankful for this chance.

The first few years of James’ life were rather uneventful. He grew up in you guested it Georgia, U.S.A. His father was an honest caring businessman, the CEO of a small but lucrative toilet paper business, that often had dealing with some company in japan. His mother was a stern but caring stay at home mother. The only strange thing about his life were the strange dreams he had, of another life, not unlike his own. He believed that even if that the dreams were something more, he had a new life to live and he would not let it end like the last time.

He made good friends all through school, straight to once again getting a scholarship to best university in California. Everything changed however, when he heard those fateful words, “Hey, have you heard of the new game Yggdrasil?” One of his friends had asked. It was then that he knew, and his old memories hit him like a ton of bricks. He was strong and did not let it show. So, he laughed and said yes, joining in on the excitement over the new game so soon to be released.

He graduated University, Summa Cum Laude, with a master’s degree in programming at the age of 18, in the year 2125, a prodigy they called him. He knew what he was going to do he just needed the money. Then, as if by fate, he received a call. An old friend of his father who was CEO of a large gaming company.

“Hello James, your father has told me a lot about you, do you remember me?” The voice he could not quite place, and then it hit him.

Suddenly he was 6 years old again, about the time he had began remembering his old life. He was at a Christmas party in Japan, that his parents had been invited to.

He was holding onto his mother’s leg when his father came over. “Mr. Takahashi, this is my beautiful wife Sarah, and my 6-year-old son, James.” The older gentlemen, looking to be in his 40’s, shook his mother’s hand before kneeling and extending his hand to him. “Hello, your father has told me a lot about you, I’m Mr. Takahashi.” Before his father could say anything, James let go of his mother’s leg and shook the man’s hand. “Hello Mr. Takahashi sir, my name is James.” Little did he know these simple manners his previous mother had engrained into him, would be the key to his success.

Over the course of his childhood he had learned Japenese and some madarin, due to his father's buisness dealing in Japan and the united Korean peninsula.

James Remembered that white place. He remembered why he was here. He was overjoyed and filled with gratitude. He began his plans, for the New World.
