《Original Wolf - (The Originals)》65 Rebekah's Feelings

"I still have the strength I had when I was a vampire, but I lost the fangs and the hunger, so I'm not sure you can classify me as such, seems like you changed me completely, glad I can at least get rid of the ears and tail though," Mikael said as he tested out his new body.
Freya- "But why would you ever want to?"
Mikael ignored her as she had become enamored with his ears and tail, making him glad when he finally figured out how to put them away so she would stop trying to pet him. While it felt good, it also made him feel foolish letting someone pet him.
Nevan grinned at them- "Well that's good, that means you probably still have your Original vampire status, but I wouldn't test that if I were you."
Mikael snorted at that- "Well I think we're done here, call us if you learn something about Dahlia coming, before we do, we shall prepare for it." Taking Freya and leaving him alone in the graveyard with Ludwick who was still unconscious.
Nevan looking around the graveyard felt depressed at being alone in a graveyard at night, plus it was as if he could feel the eyes of the dead staring at him.
Picking up Ludwick he took off to a more private venue, one where he didn't feel eyes on him.
Without realizing it he found the same warehouse Marcel and his friends were trapped at, although he did smell the stench of the berserkers that were here last and a human witch, which could only be Finn.
He placed Ludwick in the same chair Marcel was last in and tied him up with chains, the magic Freya performed only limited his magical abilities and while tieing him didn't do much, it would at least keep him still while they talked, should he break out and try and escape he would kill him before he even got out of the chair.

He zoomed away and came back with a bucket of water that he splashed on the large cat monster, he wondered if they hated water as much as regular cats.
Ludwick let out a startled yell- "What the hell!"
Nevan snapping his fingers in front of him- "Wakey, wakey, sleepyhead, we have much to talk about."
Ludwick's eyes went wide as he remembered who Nevan was and what happened, he looked down to see his arm still gone- "Bastard, where is my arm? The least you could do is let me reattach it."
Nevan gave an evil smile that sent shivers down Ludwick's spine- "I ate it."
Ludwick froze, while they as beasts of old often ate each other, the recent civilization changes that they've been exposed to and coming to terms made them forget what they were. Hearing Nevan say he ate it brought a whole new reality to Ludwick that he never considered before, he was prey.
Ludwick started to laugh mechanically- "Ha ha ha, he ate it he says, ha ha ha, how stupid we were, thinking we were predators on the hunt when we were prey serving ourselves up." Tears started to fall from his eyes as this one simple statement from Nevan broke him.
Nevan frowned at this reaction, he never thought what he said would lead to all this, now what was he going to do if the guy thought himself dead with no hope and no longer wished to talk.
'I may have jumped the gun with that information' Nevan thought as Ludwick had his head down in utter defeat.
At a loss of where to go from here, he got a pleasant surprise when he felt Rebekah heading his way.
Rebekah, however, was not in a pleasant mood as she zoomed in and tried to punch him, which he dodged.

"Whoah, whoah, Rebekah what's with all the hostility?" he asked as he dodged a few more attempts of her trying to hit him.
Rebekah huffing in anger rather then exhaustion yelled- "Tell me it's not true!"
Nevan confused asked- "What?"
Rebekah screamed- "Tell me it's not true that your working with my father!"
Nevan grinned but quickly wiped it off his face as he saw her glare at him with all the intent to skin it off him if he didn't take this seriously.
Giving a cough to readjust himself he began to try and convince her that her dad isn't the bad guy she wrongly believed.- "Well you see Rebekah, let me ask you something first, do you still trust and believe Niklaus to be family?"
Rebekah frowned- "Stop delaying the question and answer me, is it true?"
Nevan started to sweat a little, he was hoping Rebekah will be more open now about things- "Rebekah humor me first."
Rebekah gave a huff in annoyance as she answered- "Why do you even have to ask, of course, I don't trust him and only feel the tiniest of feelings of familiarity with him now, after all, we did spend a long time together, can't completely hate him, despite all this crap he's put me through."
Nevan didn't like that answer but he hoped it was enough- "Well you should realize that Mikael never wanted to harm you right? He was only ever after one person and you just happen to be pulled along with that person at the time."
Rebekah paused thinking about this, but after years of ingrained feelings, just like how she couldn't hate Niklaus 100%, she also couldn't get over the fear completely from their father.
Rebekah- "I know that at least I think I do, but it's not easy, unlike you, that was most of my life, being by the side of Niklaus, running from Mikael, it's not that easy to get over."
Nevan came in and hugged her- "I will help you, your father isn't one that you need to hate, he still loves you and feels deeply hurt that you took Niklaus's side."
Rebekah then pushed Nevan who crashed into the wall- "What do you know, he was the one who turned Niklaus into the monster that he is!"
Nevan standing back up didn't get angry as he calmly replied- "Well I wouldn't put all the blame on him, your mother was half the problem, he must have known deep down inside what Niklaus was and hated him for it, plus when you saw what Niklaus became you should have left him then instead of letting him torture you."
Rebekah with watery eyes yelled back- "If you knew he was torturing me why didn't you come and save me?"
Nevan eyes widened feeling hurt from the accusation and a little guilty, rushed up and hugged her tight not letting her go even after she tried to make him stop by hitting him.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you, but I am now and I'll never allow it to happen again," he whispered, as Rebekah let it all out for the first time in what seemed like forever, she had moments where she broke down in the past, but this was the first time she really let it all out.
Nevan was going to make sure it would be the last time.
