Niklaus had an ugly expression on his face as he woke back up and was growing very angry at being pushed around, he was close to snapping, first this new guy shows up and plays with him like a toy, something he hasn't felt since the days of Mikael when he was still a weak child. Now he has Finn easily pushing him around and snapping his neck.

He did forgive his brother Elijah and while he did mean it at the time, thinking back on it also made him angry. He also didn't forget about Marcel and how he was treated when he first came back to the city and how he must still feel badly towards him for removing his crown.

Too many negative things were piling up against him, he was starting to feel alone again, a feeling he never wanted to feel again.

Mostly though he hated the fact he was no longer on top, no longer feared, he could see it from those around him, they still had respect for what he was but the fear was disappearing with every slight against him.

And his sister Rebekah, she now feels completely free of him, the one who he thought would always be by his side is now with one who is stronger than himself.

The only thing that was left for him was his daughter, he had to protect her and he knew the best way to do that was to kill them all.

Niklaus angrily shouted out in frustration as he got back up, once he calmed down he looked towards Davina- "Have you figured out a way to take down the barrier?"

Davina who could sense his anger knew that now was not the time to accidentally set him off with her attitude, she delicately responded as she looked down to avoid his eyes- "I'm sorry, I was working on a way to wake you up."

Niklaus despite all the anger and frustration was more of a schemer than anything else, it was the reason when he first came to New Orleans and tried to scheme his way to the crown rather than take it by force, though sadly it ended that way anyways.

So he managed to shelf his feelings as he tackled his first problem, to get rid of the barrier that now keeps him from his home.

Davina seeing thought about Kol and muttered- "It's too bad, me and Kol were planning a date for the festival."

Niklaus hearing this asked- "Festival? what festival?"

Davina- "There's one tonight and I was planning to have a date with Kol, till he got trapped that is."

Niklaus frowned at this- "So that's what he plans, the hunger makes sense now, he wants to expose us to the humans of this city, well-played brother, we need to make calls now and warn who we can, I'll try and catch them before they can do any real harm." zooming off after he finished.

On his way, he paused briefly as he saw a flying man in the sky come crashing down turning to dust.

"What the hell."

Ludwik paused at this time as well when he saw a berserker crash in front him- "Well this doesn't bode well for us, I'm going to assume to the worst and say that the orange-eyed devil is here."

Looking back to the other 6 jaguars that were attending him, he could see the fear in their eyes at hearing this.

Ludwik- "Nothing to fear, our job isn't to engaged him, we'll only do what we were sent to do, while we were sent to engage the werewolves, we can do it through other means rather than direct confrontation.

Alright enough of that, look alive folks, we need to find this white oak stake, I'm assuming its some magical one and not just a regular one, guess I should have asked."

Each of their eyes glowed green as they cast an illusion spell to show themselves as human and to hide their scent.

They were still not aware that Nevan could spot them should he actively look for them.

Night fell and Marcel was doing his best to keep his people from going berserk and feasting on the people, they looked like a group of meth heads gathered together as they walked through all the people who were partying around them.

They managed to avoid the disaster as they made it back to a vampire safe spot where they could feed off the streets. Niklaus came and helped keep any from escaping to the streets in their extra hungry phase.

Back in the bayou, Nevan didn't get anything out of the human werejaguars, they were useless cannon fodder. He, however, did find a use for them when it came to training the remaining werewolves, teaching them what they looked like and what they could do.

Nevan watched as the newly invigorated men put more effort into the training as they spared with themselves and forced spar with the werejaguars taking their anger out on them for the loss of their friends.

Seeing Hayley come walking over,- "Hayley, tell me how many we lost."

Hayley still irritated at him stressed the we part trying to indicate it was her packs and friends and not his- "We, lost around 18 men, we're down to 42 left."

She wasn't the only one irritated with him, the others have also been giving secret glances at him, not happy with what little he did, but they all instinctively feared him now.

Nevan growing tired of this shouted out- "Gather up!"

They quickly fell into line knowing to not do so would only cause more problems.

Nevan- "I've noticed all those glances you tried to hide, I know many of you feel that I should have done more, well tough titties."

Hayley gave him a snort at his piss poor attempt at humor to down playthings.

Nevan ignoring that continued- "This would have happened with or without me, I've already given you the information that war was coming and you needed to train, that our kind is being targeted, but I feel your pain." he said as he put his hands on his heart and then emotionally wiped an invisible tear from his eye.

He was doing nothing to stem the boiling hate that was growing at his tasteless antics.

Nevan grinning now- "I was planning on turning more of you into alphas, I was even thinking of making you all into alphas...(raising his hand indicating them all)...I mean think of it, an army of alphas, that would be pretty badass...(Now looking sad and taking a somber tone)...However I've been feeling like I don't belong here, so I'm just going to go, good luck with all that." he said the last part jokingly as he zoomed away.

Hayley and the pack members were growing excited when they heard him talking about turning them all and then they all went pale as he zoomed away.
