Nevan - "Alright first things first, the most powerful witch I've ever come across on this side of the world, I last saw in British Columbia, they fled there back in the day to escape the witch trials."
Rebekah, however, wasn't listening as she was still touching his clothes.
Nevan coughed- "Rebekah."
Rebekah looking up at him gave him a cheeky grin- "Yes, yes, witch something." ignoring him as she continued.
Nevan rolled his eyes- "The Faster we find a powerful witch, the faster you get your own."
Rebekah just waved him off- "It's fine, didn't you say you would give me yours, quickly take them off."
Nevan grinned 'If that's how you want to play it.' "Sure." willing his clothes away, as he leaned in to start kissing her neck while grabbing her ass.
Rebekah moaned out- "Hey, that's not what I meant." then slapped his hands away stopping it from going any further. It was way too soon, to go through that again, no matter how mind-blowingly great it felt, she thought to herself, bringing a hint of rose to her face, which just about set Nevan off again seeing how much more beautiful it made her look when she blushed.
Nevan decided to relent as he backed off not wanting her to get angry at him. He shifted into a wolf- "Alright get dressed and hop on, it'll be faster this way."
Rebekah looking confused, but still hopped on his back looking forward to riding a giant wolf.- "What will be faster? where are we going?" she asked with a grin at the fact she's now going to ride him.
Nevan- "Tsk, you didn't listen at all, we are going to find a powerful witch, even if you want me to give you my clothes, you'll still need a good one to help transfer them over to you."
Rebekah hearing this yelled out- "Well what are we waiting for, get a move on." slapping his backside.
"Hey don't forget I'm your husband and not your pet mount," said Nevan as he took off, shooting through the window, not caring since they weren't going to be coming back here.
Rebekah just laughed as he picked up speed smacking him now and again- "Faster."
"Faster"...Noticing he was becoming a little gloomy she threw out- "Faster, my love." laughing as he perked up to increase his speed even more.
When they arrived he bucked her off before turning human and catching her in his arms. Seeing her so happy and having fun brought him great joy.

Rebekah still laughing happily- "That was so fun, I'll be sure to let you ride me one day." thinking she would return the favor with her new wolf form, but quickly blushed when she saw Nevan giving her a lewd grin.
Rebekah rolled her eyes and changed the subject- "You know what I meant, anyways what are doing here, this isn't British Columbia, in fact despite how amazingly fast you were going, I think we're still in Cali."
Nevan looking at the town ahead- "Correct this is where one of my old pack members supposedly died so I decided to stop by and check it out since it's on the way."
Rebekah- "Pack members? where is your pack?"
Nevan frowned at the question- "Let's talk about it another day, now if you don't mind let us go find out what happened."
Nevan started heading to town with Rebekah still in his arms before he felt a pinch on one of them. "While I do enjoy being carried by you, I can walk around perfectly fine on my own and didn't I tell you before not in public," Rebekah said trying to put a frown on but couldn't cause she was still happy being carried. Nevan gave her a smile before setting her down and taking her hand,- "Of course my dear."
They stopped at a coffee house to inquire about the fire and if there were any survivors. Sitting down in a booth, Rebekah ordered a cup of coffee and breakfast to Nevan's surprise, as a vampire they usually avoid eating actual food. "Ordering food I see, did me changing you now allow you to eat actual food and survive on that I wonder?" he asked.
Rebekah- "Yes I think it has, I hope, it seems I now feel hunger for actual food now and you'll be happy to know I haven't felt the thirst." Realizing that he was the jealous type that wouldn't be fond of her sticking her fangs in another male now that they're together.
When the waitress arrived with their meal he asked about the fire, but it seems that not many knew about it because the location was off-grid in the woods. Rebekah while pulling her hands out to drink coffee noticed for the first time that she had a black tattoo ring on her finger with a picture of Nevan's wolf face outside so others could see it. "What is this," she exclaimed looking excited at the discovery, before this week she never would have thought she would ever be married, with this tattoo ring, it made it feel that much more official. She also noticed her other hand had it too on the ring finger as well.

A thought soon popped up in her head though as she squinted her eyes and looked over at Nevan, who looked like he was hiding his hands with his arms crossed.
Rebekah- "Let me see your hands, do you also have a marking?"
Nevan not understanding why she looked a little threatening, took his hands out and showed her the same tattoos, with the exception of it being her wolf face on the front. Rebekah nodded in satisfaction at being the only one on his fingers.
Rebekah wondered why though he didn't have others considering how long he's been alive, it's somewhat strange that she would be the first. "Hey Nevan, why am I the only one on your finger, does it go away or something if I were to die?" asking concerned.
Nevan- "No it will last for the rest of my life, as will you." he quickly added at the end not liking how she asked about her death.
Rebekah- "Then why am I the only one, while we haven't talked much about it and at first I didn't even believe, but you have been alive a very long time haven't you? much, much longer than even me, so why am I your first."
Nevan- "Ah, well, how should I put it...I never cared about anyone for a very long, I did have relations with women, but it was mostly to try it out, but I didn't go around like most males and sleep with everyone, I definitely wasn't interested in giving the mating bite to anyone, back then I didn't think much of humans, it was a very long while before I started to appreciate humans and their unique ways and start interacting more and more, before I found myself thinking just like them...and then to repeat myself I still wasn't interested in a long term relationship, to take a mate is for life, I had to be sure so I just let most the ones I slept with die from old age."
Rebekah paled a little at this, it sounded so cold and apathetic.
Nevan not liking this continued- "I did after a while start to feel lonely and began looking for a mate, but they all felt too fragile, it didn't seem like any of them could handle it, after all most humans forgot about the magical world and live a pretty ordinary life, not to mention the few magical creatures I did come across over the years were all way too timid from the past events and fearful of future problems, I didn't want my mate to be so weak and unappealing..." he paused looking to make sure she was still listening.
"And then I met you someone powerful who didn't hide, I was a bit surprised to find out you were a recently created magical creature, but it was joyful to finally find a powerful woman who didn't hide and cower, but it made me sad that you were stifled by your family, so I kept my distance knowing you still cared for them deeply. Over the years I checked on you and was happy to see that you stayed strong and grew stronger under your family's pressure. I knew then I wanted you, but I still had to wait for you to break free before I was willing to step forward and court you."
Rebekah kept quiet as she let all that sink in, to Nevan it was deafening, despite having marked her, it's not like she's a slave, although technically she couldn't sleep with anyone other than him without excruciating pain for trying, not that she would try anymore cause the mark makes all other males undesirable to her eyes. She could choose to leave him in the very unlikely scenario she started to hate him.
Rebekah feeling his worry through the bond grinned a little as she decided to mess with him- "So you did stalk me."
Nevan sweating soon sighed in relief as he looked up to see her grinning- "You shouldn't scare me like that my dear, I don't think my little heart can take it."
Rebekah laughed- "Well you did make me fall for you with your wonderful dates, so I forgive you for any past transgressions, but why can't you feel the bond we share as well as me it seems?" asking the latter worriedly, she wanted to share the bond, but its been looking like she's the only one who can feel it.
Nevan trying to reassure- "Oh well that's because I haven't gotten use to feeling it yet, you have to understand I can also feel lots of other connections through my Original power, but don't worry your bond is definitely the strongest I feel, but even as the strongest bond I have, it's still in an ocean of other weaker connections."
Rebekah just nodded- "Mhm" accepting it. She would have to keep learning more about him, considering his long unique life.

8 122A Wish Fulfilled
The die is cast and omnipotent beings bow to the result. The world holds still in anticipation of a new actor. A man shall be ripped from his safe reality and cast upon new tapestry, familiar yet alien. His body will be reforged in flames of adversity. His mind, challenged, by crashing waves of doubt. And his soul will dance, to the amusement of those who observe. “Welcome, castaway, to the new world. Partake in its bounties and revel in its beauty, but be mindful of dangers. Your will is unbound and trials aplenty. The wish carried you here and you will define yourself anew. Live, as you see fit. Now, that the contract is fulfilled, it’s time. We shall not meet again, nor will you remember me. Farewell.” A falling star lights the skies and the die continues to roll. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
