They both were about to start the refinement of Rank 2 Lunar Stream Gu. It was the first refinement for both Mo Bei and Fang Yuan in this timeline.

Mo Bei currently had his only Moonlight Gu in his hands. He also had prepared the Little Light Gu, Water Stream Gu and other necessary ingredients by the side. Since it was a moon path Gu worm, it had a requirement to be refined under the reflection of the moon.

As moon light reflected on both Mo Bei and Fang Yuan, they started to begin the refinement.

Mo Bei entered primeval essense into the moonlight Gu and it began to glow brightly as if he was about to use it to attack. Mo Bei activated the Little light gu using primeval essense and it began to slowly roam around the Moonlight gu. It looked really beautiful.

The water stream gu was activated by his primeval essense giving the water in a greenish-blue color. Then Fang Yuan started to put other ingredients into the bucket.

Water Stream gu quickly started absorbing the ingredients and the water. Mo Bei manipulated Moonlight Gu and Little light gu to enter the bucket and at the same time started throwing primeval essense into it.

Water Stream Gu absorbed the primeval stones very fast and also the glowing Moonlight Gu and the Little Light Gu. Mo Bei was throwing one stone after another until the count reached 350.

Suddenly, the Water Stream gu let out a blinding light. Both Mo Bei and Fang Yuan couldn't keep their eyes open but they knew it was a critical moment. Fang Yuan quickly threw the last ingrediant, Calming Grass. As soon as it entered the bucket, the light began reducing.

Soon after, Mo Bei and Fang Yuan were able to see a Gu worm come out of the bucket. It radiated an aura of Rank 2 gu worm. It was the Rank 2 Lunar Stream Gu!

Seeing this, Mo Bei felt really happy. He knew how difficult refinement was and the chances of his failure were high since it was his 1st time. This also cleared one doubt in his mind.

He was not being tested by Heaven's Will. Unlike Fang Yuan, Heaven's Will did not seem to mind his presence and did not create unnecessary difficulty. But this was still too early to conclude. After all, even Fang Yuan was involved in the refinement process.

He then wished it to become a spear and they formed a shape of spear.

"Fang Yuan, attack me with your Moonblade."

Fang Yuan launched a moonblade at Mo Bei. Suddenly, the water droplets took form of a sheild and stopped in between Mo Bei and the moonblade.

The moonblade passed through the water shield but started slowing down and then disappeared before reaching Mo Bei. The water shield's size had also reduced by 20%.

"This is really a good shield. It can take a total of 5 peak stage moonblades before being fully consumed. This is even better than Jade Skin Gu at the moment. Let's see the attacking power."

Mo Bei and Fang Yuan went to the practice yard where Mo Bei shot the water spear at the tree. It resulted in a huge hole in the tree. The attacking power was terrifying.

"Well, we finally have a good way to deal with those annoying monkeys. The only problem is that the consumption of primeval essense is a bit high. You could only use it one time with liquor worm while even I would be able to use it twice only."
