《Wet world wonderland.》Chapter: 7√C2F “A brawl is surely brewing, let the battle begin!”

I drop into the room, and my communicator flares up- “Ya’ there yet, kid? Also, I think you should get more alcohol.” I try to take a glance at it, but instantly remember that it’s hidden behind my ear… “Okay... Where is the bastard anyways? And you better have not gotten into MY stuff!” I shout, making sure he hasn’t touched my personal drinks, while I mentally berate myself over my mistake…
I look around the room, nothing particularly special in here. A few dusty chairs, dusty table… Dusty everything. Let’s move on.
“Find him yourself. As if I’d know.” He says, as the sound of a cork lid popping off a beer bottle rings through the ear piece… “I am going to KILL you when I get home.” I say, causing him to laugh at me, building my rage evermore.
I step through the door, and suddenly, as though the gods of cleanliness and un-dustiness had descended upon me to bestow me unto a world of average level cleanliness! HOLY SHIT! I turn around, and compare the two rooms for a moment, silently judging whoever could possibly be responsible for leaving a room like that.
This next room seems to be the living room. It’s the dead of night, so Fallengrar wouldn’t know where I am. “Once again… Why am I doing this myself?!” I ask, trying to keep my voice down to a whisper. “Hey, the deal was I found him. I would have had you pay double, if you weren’t a first time customer. Also, he’s working with Solasara, I’m not dealin’ with that headache EVER again.” He says, as I look through some of the drawers. They’re empty, so he must still be moving in.
I make my way through the building, entering right into the Foyer, where a bunch of boxes are stacked and haphazardly scattered throughout. “Headache? Aren’t you supposed to be the best?” I ask, as I start opening boxes, finding a weird assortment of items. Most likely hobbies and other such needs. “I am, it’s her portal magic that’s the problem. She’s not exactly the best merc, but her portal magic seems to have no limit on range, and it’s extremely flexible. I had to travel across the planet like, a hundred times just to win.” He says, surprising me with his level of stupidity… “Are you seriously this stupid?” I ask, as I open another box and find a pair of hover boots and a ring ball. He’s a ring ball player…
“No- What- Wait- Shit! I AM stupid!” He says, as the lovely sound of his hand bones slapping against his face bones relays through the communicator. “Once again. YOU’RE the best? If so, I’m not impressed.” I ask, as I slide my fingers on the boots, feeling the dusty old, yet worn material. I guess he USED to play Ring Ball… I was considering giving it a try, I decided not to, because everyone who DOES play it, is a sweaty fool trying to be the best. “Oh don’t even start with me, ya’ little shit. That’s it, I’m signing off.” He says, causing the communicator to shut off.
I grab the communicator, and melt it in my hands with my lightning magic. I hide it away into one of the corners of the room, and let it melt through the floor. The floor is pretty heat resistant, so it won’t be set on fire. I step into the hallway, up the stairs, and look around.
Another hallway, multiple rooms. The building is pretty small, maybe it’s a house in an apartment complex. I guess he must still be paying for a new home. Either that, or he’s moving around quickly, due to his newfound notorious stature. The world council doesn’t screw around.

Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if he has half of the world trying to track him down, he’s practically living on borrowed time. I check each door, making sure he isn’t home. I guess he’s still out, doing whatever he does.
I enter the last room, it must be his bedroom. I walk over to a book sitting atop a nightstand, and open it. I can’t imagine living like that, having to run away…
Oh- So that’s how it is...
I close the book, and rest it on the table as it was… That bastard… What a price to pay for something so pathetic… It’s an impossible dream, and he would have murdered a mother and her daughter over it. A selfish man…
I contemplate whether I should kill the guy or not over this, as I step outside of the room… A foot step rings out through the hall- It’s steady, it’s one of them, and it’s heading up here. I silently open and pass through a doorway, closing it right behind me.
I quickly kneel down to the keyhole, and stare through… So that must be what Solasara looks like… “We’re here, sir.” She happily says, opening the portal. “Good lord… I’ve had it with you…” Fallengrar says, surprising me… A falling out?
Solasara on the other hand, seems to be as confused as I am… “What do you mean?” She asks, as she rests against the wall. “Why are you even still here? I don’t have anything left to offer you, and you’ve done well more than we agreed... You’re a merc... Aren’t you?” He asks, causing her to open one of her portals… They look through it, I can’t see what’s inside…
He stands there, a somber yet surprised look on his face… “Isn’t it obvious?” She says, angering me further… “I see…” He says, relaxing again. “Fine. I guess I have nothing left to lose anyways…” He says as he sits down on one of the boxes up here.
“So… What’s our next plan of action?” She asks as she leans against the wall. “I don’t know. I guess something legal? Repair my reputation?” He says, as he folds his arms, trying to figure out what he should do… “What DO you do about money?” He asks, looking back up at her. “Terraforming. Everyone’s always looking for a new view to their nice new mansion.” She says, teleporting the entire building-
I look out the window behind me, ignoring the two for a moment- We’re on a mountain, overlooking a large canyon of arching rock and nature… I run back to the keyhole in the door, they’re gone-
My chance! As quietly as possible, I dash through the doorway and look down the hall- They must be looking out one of the windows. I descend the staircase, and wait for them to return- The light from the window behind me alters a little, as the building is transported back to its original location.
I quickly move back up the stairs, and hear talking coming from the bedroom. I guess they decided to talk there instead... “Well, you should get some rest. I’ll be off doing my job. My reputation won’t tank nearly as much as yours has, I’m a merc after all.” She says, as I approach the door, and listen in on their conversation.
I hear the sounds of paper shuffling, and suddenly writing. I guess that’s a personal journal, or diary. I considered writing a diary myself, but I figured it would leave too many loose-ends. And I have enough of those as is, with the presence of my family...

The sound of pencil sketching lightly fades through the door… So that actually was lead? I’m surprised anyone USES pencils anymore… I guess it’s easy to destroy? Anyways, I guess this is as good a time as any, I should get in there and-
“Shhh…” Demistar says, as she grabs my shoulder, motioning me to stay quiet… Why is Demistar here? “Why is Demistar here?” I ask, surprising her with the fact that I can use telepathy. “Sorry, but I think you should wait for Kassinkamble and Princess Stallatia, they’re on their way now.” I decide to move away from the door, as the sound of footsteps approaches where I remember the bed was.
“I’m sure they will be very helpful when I’m done.” I say to her, as I approach the doorknob. “Please. It would also mean a lot to them. They’re only half an hour away anyways.” She says, while I decide to fold my arms. “Fine.” I whisper, as I approach the staircase.
“How about you?” I ask, as I pull out a chair in the dining room, and sit in it. “I’ll be returning to what I was doing. I don’t know how you got here, but good job I guess.” She says, surprising me again, but I show no visible evidence to the fact. “What, are you too busy to help out a bunch of kids?” I ask, with a slight smirk.
She leans against a pillar, resting the back of her head in her hands. “Classified, sorry. You should really be more careful though, if Solasara caught you, that might have been it for you.” She says, but I lightly shake my head. “No, I doubt that.” I say, causing her to simply shrug and disappear.
The front door suddenly swings open, the golden light from the sunset washing through the building. And just as Demistar said, it’s Kass and Stallatia. With weird suits. “Hey.” I say, as I balance the chair on its back feet, with my legs.
They just stare at me, then look at each other. Then back at me, as though they’re trying to beat me in some sort of staring contest. “What is Vexalan doing here?” Kass asks, causing Stallatia to simply shrug.
-√F-
“Isn’t-” “Hey, don’t talk out loud, use telepathy.” Kass’s -I assume sister- says, quickly silencing me… “Like this?” I ask, as I simply try and think of the words in my head. “Kind of, you’ll get the hang of it.” Kass says, surprising me with her own use of it. “I came here to take down Fallengrar, but a little birdy told me to wait for you two, so I did.”
Well that explains why she’s here- “Well that explains why you’re here.” I say, remembering to actually think it in my head. “He’s in the main bedroom right now. I’d like to get this over with as soon as possible.” Vexalan says, as I walk over to the stairs, while she follows behind me.
“Is there anything we should know? Something about Fallengrar we might have not known? I only met him a few times, but his past was very much shrouded in mystery as is.” I ask, as I turn around to look at her.
“No. He’s just a bad man, doing a bad thing, for a bad reason. That’s all there is to it.” She says, as she moves past me. Kass follows her quickly, shrugging as she quickly takes a glance at me.
We stop at the front door, Vexalan turning around to look at Kass and I. “Kass, you’re the strongest out of us three, so you should go first.” She says, staring at us… It’s still weird, having someone OTHER than Demitallis speak to me through telepathy… I guess it’s weird to me, because I expect her mouth to move, and some sort of facial expression. But Demitallis doesn’t have any of that, so I must have subconsciously decided to ignore it. But here, it’s kind of uncanny and hard to connect, for me.
“Right, good idea.” Kass approaches the door, and opens it, walking into the room. “He’s asleep… Should I…” She says, as Vexalan and I make our way in. “Solasara will be a problem, I’ll zap him in case he has any communicators. Kass, be ready to grab Stallatia, we’ll be teleporting home right away.” Vexalan says, as she rounds the otherside of the bed, while lightning dances across her body…
Vexalan begins to glow with energy, as Kass grabs me. She plunges her hands into Fallengrar’s sleeping body, causing multiple explosions and the ends of his body and igniting his bed instantly- “How much did you hit him with-” Kass tries to say, but he suddenly wakes up, and back hands Vexalan through the wall behind her!
Kass suddenly backs away with me, bursting through a wall into the room behind us, as Fallengrar stands up. “What the hell?!” He shouts, as he douses his bed with water magic, and looks around until his eyes land on us.
Vexalan lands silently behind him, leaving him completely unaware of her presence. “What are you two doing here? Answer me now.” Fallengrar says, as she charges a powerful looking ball of lightning in her hand… “What are you even looking at-” He says, as he turns around, and Vexalan throws a powerful bolt of lightning into his back.
The bolt flies straight between Kass and I, and we reflexively dodge out of the way- Of course we couldn’t move nearly as fast as lightning, but we still tried anyways… Fallengrar stands up again, a new black burn mark heavily present on his back… “God dammit! That’s it, you’re dead!” He shouts, before trying to grab Vexalan.
Instead, she quickly sidesteps him, and with a burst of lightning, she strikes him with a nasty looking uppercut- She spins around and slams her foot into the side of his head, throwing him through one of the last two walls that haven’t been brutalized…
Kass quickly chases after him, while I run over to Vexalan to see how she’s doing. “He hit you pretty hard... Are you okay?” I ask, as she stares daggers at the direction she sent him in… “I’m fine.” She says, while blood begins to soak into her dress… He hit her hard enough to draw blood, she can’t be doing THAT well…
“Vexalan, you’re bleeding-” I try to say, but something seemingly clicks in her head, and she smiles at me… “I-I’m fine… Thank you, but I think I should go help out Kass.” She says, before dashing out of the building. I follow closely, until we find Kass beating down Fallengrar.
“How are you so strong?!” He shouts, as she tosses him across the street- “You damn children!” He shouts, before trying to overpower her, but she easily back hands him, and slams her fist into his gut- “I’m a Mega! That’s why!” She shouts, as she continues to attack him, while we simply try and keep up…
He finally gets a lucky hit, and grabs her- He tosses her through multiple buildings, and runs off- “Looks like you were right about that communicator thing-” I try to say, but Vexalan suddenly dashes at lightning speed...
“Okay then…” I say, to nobody in particular… Better get going.
-√C2-
I land in a kitchen, where a family is having their dinner… “Sorry, please enjoy your meal.” I humbly apologize, before dashing back through the row wall holes in the buildings I was sent through…
I spot Stallatia, and run over to her- “Stallatia!” I shout, grabbing her attention. “Oh thank god, Kass!” She shouts, with a weird sense of relief on her face… “I was trying to talk to Vexalan, but she ran off without me! Come on, help me keep up!” She says, as she holds her hand out.
I take it, and pull her into my arms, dashing after Vexalan and Fallengar.
We arrive to see Vexalan cloaked in some sort of lightning dress, absolutely wrecking Fallengrar- He swipes his foot, but she ducks, his leg barely brushing her hair! She slams her fist into his torso, her fist exploding on impact, and sending him into a tree.
She bounces off trees at lightning speed, tearing or burning them as she strikes Fallengrar as fast as she can… When did she get so strong? She lands on his chest, staring down at him, her lightning dress slowly disappearing, returning to her normal white one…
Her mouth begins to glow, as though light was trying to escape from it- Her mouth snaps open and a powerful wave of energy and lightning explodes forth, burning and destroying everything in front of it! “Vexalan!” I shout, as I finally remember to set Stallatia down, grabbing her attention.
She looks over at me, unsurprised. “I was wondering when you would get here… I… I think he might finally be-” She tries to say, but he grabs her leg, and slams her through a tree… Looks like she was wrong…
Fallengrar picks himself up, while I run over to fight him again! “Leave me the hell alone! Why are you attacking me?!” He shouts, surprising me by the fact that he STILL hasn’t realized why we’re here…
I move into Ridge Striker Style. From my little tussle with the guy, I can tell he’s never had to train a day in his life, he must have gotten his coushiny life from his parents… Well that’s no matter, I’ll take him down all the same.
I crouch and place my hands on the ground, flowing my mana into the earth of Orion itself. With a swift movement of my hand, I guide the earth in the ground itself to morph and move towards Fallengrar- He manages to dodge it, and just stares at it.
“What the hell? You can do that?” He asks, as he tries to work out what Mythical Magic is… I morph the earth that’s still connected to me, and slam it into his head. He’s sent to the ground, as the small point of rock forced all its energy into that one point on his head.
I walk over, as he clutches his now bleeding head. “Give up Fallengrar. We’re taking you in.” I say, under the anonymity of the suit. “Oh for the sake of-” He says, as he stands up again, and stares down at me. “Go home already. There’s no way the officials down at Ryleth would’ve sent some stupid kid to do the job of a soldier.” He says, but I move back into position, prepared to strike.
He dashes backwards, a few feet behind Vexalan, who’s currently been knocked out… She’s surprised me with how strong she is, but I guess even he’s still stronger than her… “Fine! Have it your way! I’ll just kick your ass until you either learn, or give up!” Mother always tried to tell me not to fight others, that I might get myself hurt… But no, even I can feel my innate strength, and combat is what these skills were made for. I’ll use my strength for others!
