I was working on the Spell, when Steriya teleported into my Tower, a terrified look on her face. “D-Demi, Princess Stallatia has been captured!” She exclaims, her hair still wet from being underwater.

Demi - “Wait, you mean the Queen’s daughter?! W-Well- Who took her?!”

Stallatia just runs up closer, and looks into my depths. “I don’t know! I was told her personal butler returned to the castle in hysterics, and soon after fainted, they’re waiting for him to wake up, so he can explain everything. We don’t know what’s happening anymore!” She says, a little resigned to the fact that there’s nothing she can do right now.

Demi - “How about Sirius? You were capturing his friends so we could arrest him. Also, were the scouts able to link them to any crimes?”

She perks up in delight at this. “O-Oh yeah, we found tons of stuff actually. Coordinated attacks, Robberies, Black-Market Dealings. Tons of stuff. As for the other half of the plan, we’ve got a bunch of his buddies locked up under more humanitarian means- No… Oh dammit all! He must have figured it out, he stole the Princess! FUCK!” She bashes her palm against her forehead, and I can see it visibly cracking.

Demi - “St-Steriya, stop! You’re damaging your body!”

She looks at her hand, then simply repairs it with magic. “It’s fine Demi, we just- We need to get the Princess back.” She says, as she places her hand on my surface, teleporting us away.

We find ourselves in the meeting area, Ryleth as the backdrop, soldiers surrounding us. Fingsk spots Steriya and swims over, right through me. “Steriya, there you are- Weren’t you supposed to get Demitallis?” He says, looking around. “You’re inside of her.” She says, with a blank expression. He looks around, trying to spot me, until he realizes his mistake- “Not again!” He quickly darts out of me, and behind Steriya. “Demi, color change.” And like that, I comply instantly. My color changes slowly, changing to a nice contrasting red. “Oh man, that’s weird. You’re all spread out weirdly, Demi.” Steriya says, backing up. She’s right, I’m so relaxed in the water like this, so I’m all spread out in weird directions.

“Anyways, we should move on. Sirius is on his way, and the Kid’s angry, nobody here is quite strong enough to take him on though. It’s all up to you Demitallis!” Steriya and I stare at Fingsk in surprise, realizing only now how urgent the situation really is. “We believe he’ll be here in about 3 hours!” He adds, destroying the aforementioned urgency. “O-Oh, I guess we have some time then.. I’ll try and figure out what happened to Princess Stallatia, you stay here with the prisoners Demi.” She says, teleporting in a flash of light.

Demi - “I guess I’ll go keep an eye on those Prisoners then.”

Fingsk just shrugs, and watches as I move over to the captured Prisoners. They look at me, faces full of fear and resignation. “Oh my god, they’re going to feed us to their Puddle Kid.” They say, making me stop. It surprises them, but they’re not quite convinced.

Demi - “I’m not, I came to watch you. I’ll be beating up your Boss, and I didn’t want him to bring his buddy, so you’re all my little bargaining chips. Man, chips, makes me hungry. Anyways, when he gets here, I’ll beat’em up, then it’s off to real jail for ya’!”

They all just stare at me, speechless, until a young clownfish boy speaks up. “As if you could defeat Master Sirius, his father was a Puddle Kid Hunter. He’ll defeat you, then he’ll take back Ryleth-” He’s interrupted with a smack to the back of the head by one of his colleagues. “Enough Rildin! Just wait for the young master, he’ll get us out.” The older man says, still resigned to his situation.

Demi - “Take back? What do you mean?”

They look between each other, until another one speaks up, a Stonefish Demihuman this time. “Lord Sirius is the true heir to Ryleth, not that nameless queen, and definitely not HER ancestors! His ancestors before him and their ancestors before them, it was stolen from them by the current line!” He exclaims, finally revealing to me their beliefs.

Demi - “I see, I’m sorry to hear that. I made a deal with the queen though, and I’m going to carry it out. Good luck when you DO get out of jail though, guys.”

They simply give up on trying to convince me, fully understanding that I won’t be deterred. “Whatever, just get beaten up by him already, it makes no difference to us.”

Demi - “Mm. Well~, I’ve still got 3 hours until the big guy himself gets here. Wanna tell me about any weaknesses? Aside from you guys, I don’t have many advantages against him.”

They’re a little unnerved by my light and excited tone of voice. “Why in the world would we tell you ANYTHING?” One of them says in disbelief, amusing me a little.

Demi - “I figured you’d say no- Hey, Sirius still owes me for that thing I did for him. I hope I can at least get some answers on that.”

They look between each other, and shrug. “We’re not sure, most of us here just keep everything nice looking. We’ve never really done anything, we’re only guilty of association. We don’t really know what happens around the building outside of our jobs.” The Stonefish Man says with everyone’s agreement.

Demi - “I guess I’ll have to ask him when he gets here then. See, a while ago I created my Telepathy Skill so I can talk to people, and I was hoping to improve it with Mergalisk’s own Telepathy skill. Mine uses a simple Mana Line, so it’s easy to break the connection, which means it’s pretty easy to shut me up. Thanks for not doing that by the way.”

They just sit there, nothing left to say.

Demi - “Right, I’ll be leaving you alone now. I’ve gotten about as much as I can out of you all, so, see ya’.”

And with that, I leave them and await the fight with Sirius. Of course I’m not leaving them out of my sight, I wouldn’t want any escape attempts.

A few minutes from the fight, I can see him approaching, he’s on his way here. The Soldiers back away and surround the Cage. “Sorry Demi, I just couldn’t find her anywhere. Her Butler woke up, and he himself has nothing useful. Once you’ve finished kicking his ass, we’ll save her.” She says, teleporting away. Kass swims over, Dart nowhere in sight. “Hey Demi. Are you excited?” She asks me.

Demi - “O-Oh, yeah. Kind of. I’ve never been in a real fight before, so I'm a little worried.”

“Just do your best. I wish Dart was here..” She finishes, looking around. “Anyways, I have some things to do, I’ll help you with him later.” And with that, she’s gone. The others watch as Sirius walks up to me.

Demi - “You know, when we first met, I had no idea it was you. What were you doing out in the open like that?”

He just stares at me, an annoyed look on his face. “I was after Mergalisk myself, I was hopin’ that after ‘a few jobs, I could possibly even invite ya’ to my little family. You can imagine my dismay when I learned that you were actually my enemy. On the topic of Mergalisk~, I was able to get that Skill out of him. Too bad I won’t get a chance ta’ give it to ya’.” He transforms with a flash of light, rivaling me in my full form..

The fight begins!

A massive tentacle comes flying at me, lightning fast! It’s too fast, it slaps off a part of my mass, but I quickly recover it- he strikes again, he’s really quick! I grab one of his tentacles, and crush it. It tears from the stem, and he reels back in pain.

He continues to attack me with his other tentacles, while the one I broke off grows back. Enough! I try to get near him, but he swims away. I continue to chase him, as massive tentacles burst from the ground, and take strikes at me. I consume one here and there, to replenish my strength. I chase him into a mountain, and I move over him, and finally surround him. I begin crushing him, but he’s too tough. It’s not working!

Siri - “What, did you really think that would work?!”

He shouts at me through telepathy, and uses the energy built from my crushing force to burst out of my body. I recover all of the lost mass after a short period of time. Before he can attack, he notices a large metal ball building in my body. I blast him with multiple bearings, and start slashing apart tentacles with string. He blocks the bearing, and tosses it away.

Demi - “You know, I’m surprised you decided to fight. Don’t you care about your buddies?”

Siri - “They’ve done nothing wrong, you don’t have the right to hurt them. I know they’re fine.”

There’s no doubt, he continues to block bearing shots. He disappears for a moment- No, he transformed! He reappears behind me, fully transformed, and starts striking me hundreds of times, until I start grabbing the tentacles and crushing them.

Siri - “Damn that fucking hurts!”

Demi - “I’m the one getting torn apart here! How do you think I feel?!”

He crawls up a mountain, and starts firing lasers at me. I respond with more bearing shots, to deflect the blasts- I feel more strikes to my back- I have to get close! I disconnect from my water, and disappear from his sight! I knew it, he can’t see my essence! He continues to look around for me, until I appear around him again, and start crushing once more.

Siri - “Again?!”

His body begins to glow, and it bursts out, I feel my body expand around it, but I crush the force down anyways. Still though, it allowed him to escape. Before he can strike again, I flow my essence through the water, and move away. I fire multiple bearing shots, and he starts blocking again. I can see him getting a little more exhausted as we go. His tentacles are torn apart by my strings, and he’s almost left defenseless. I move my essence around him, and take full advantage of this opportunity. He changes to his human form again, and escapes before I could crush him- Damnit!

After a minute of chasing, I lose sight of him, he’s fast as hell! Before I know it, I spot a massive orb of energy above me.. WAIT, SHIT- I change my shape into a Torus, and just barely dodge the attack. I watch as water descends into the new abyss.. Before anything else can happen, I surround the area in threads. I won’t be able to use the bearings anymore, but Sirius will be trapped-

Before I even get a chance to start looking, I spot Sirius in his full form, bloody and cut from forcing his way through my threads. He’s shrouded himself in some sort of force field. I charge up a full powered bearing shot, and it blasts through the threads, and shatters his shield. He’s already made it through the threads though- FUCK, WAIT- He clings around me, and starts trying to crush me!

Siri - “HOW THE FUCK DO YOU LIKE IT?!”

He shouts at me through telepathy, but I can’t seem to figure out what he’s saying, as I am currently witnessing the world’s most horrifying sight…

Demi - “WHY THE HELL DOES YOUR MOUTH LOOK LIKE THIS?!”

Siri - “I’m a Kraken you idiot!”

After a few more minutes he finally gives up, realizing that I’m almost uncrushable- OH no you don’t! I grab a few of his tentacles, and pull him in. I start trying to crush him again, but he breaks away and watches as I crush his limbs into paste again.

Siri - “How the hell are you so strong?!”

Demi - “I weigh tens of millions of pounds, and I have to carry that when I move around on land. But when I’m underwater.. WELL~ I get full access, since the water itself helps hold me together.”

A look of realization washes over his face, as he realizes how strong I really am. He steels himself, and dashes away from me. He’s regenerated his shield! He shrinks and bashes through more wires, it’s stronger than the last time! I flow through the water, disconnecting and reconnecting my essence as I pass over the string. Good idea turning small actually, less size equals less string to hit..

Anyways, once he’s broken away from my thread territory- I start pulling it back in.. I really don’t want people running into it… Luckily, everything swam away when Sirius came swimming by, being the size of a small mountain, he’s kind of hard not to spot. Anyways, he breaks away and starts firing more lasers, he’s really going for those ranged attacks, and they’re strong too… I start popping holes where I think he’s firing, it’s kind of working.

Enough, I disconnect again, and move my essence around, since he can’t see me, he won’t be able to hit me. I move behind him, and start firing bearing shots at him again. I strike him in the arm with a large one and- “AGHHH!” He screams, his arm bruised and beginning to bleed. He’s kind of like..

Demi - “H-Hey, are you okay?”

He just looks at me with a mix of expressions that slowly turn to unyielding rage. “I’LL FUCKIN’ KILL YOU!!!” Hundreds of tentacles sprout from the ground and begin striking me. “Those people are fucking innocent! What right do you have to do this to them?!” He continues to scream at me as he pummels me.

“Get off my sister!”

“Get off my sister!” I shout, as I slam my fist into squid-head’s face! “Don’t worry Demi, your big sister Kassinkamble has arrived!!!” I look over to see the proud face of my little sister, and- Uh oh.. I watch as mountain size tentacles slam down on her, I quickly look back to see the target still reeled back and holding his face. “What the hell?!” He shouts, as he finally looks back at me. “Who the fuck are you?!” We just stare at each other for a moment.. “Kassinkamble, I just said that.” He’s in disbelief for some reason. “I think I was too busy dealing with the ringing in my ears to hear-” Before he can finish, a massive metal orb attached to a string strikes him, sending him flying. I look over and there’s Demitallis, she just finished destroying the tentacles..

Demitallis - “Thanks Kass.. I need a little time to recharge, that really hurt. If he transforms, come get me.”

“Alright then!” I say, with a thumbs up. Transform? I swim as fast as I can, as I create a powerful current of water to push me faster. I finally find him, and- Shit, his arm.. “Hey, is your arm okay there, squid head?” I ask him, as he continues to pick himself up. “Squid-head? I am ‘a fuckin’ Kraken, you idiot!” He walks up to me, and tries to- I barely dodge his strike, he’s fast! He tries again, and I barely dodge again- “That’s it!” He snaps his arm back into place, and moves it around. “I guess this’ll work.” He strikes me with his fist, and I’m sent flying. Damn he’s strong!

Alright, I know what to use. I move into Wave manipulation style. He’s confused by my pose, but doesn’t give it any mind, like a fool.. Another strike! I sidestep it, surprising him, then I slam a powerful wave of water into his side, sending him flying. I dash above him, and strike him with another. “What the hell are ya’ doin’?!” He shouts, as he stands up. “I’m gonna’ take a guess and say you’ve never practiced Martial Arts!” I shout back, surprising him. He comes swimming at me, and I dart away instantly to the side and slam another powerful wave into him, sending him flying into the ground again. “So~.. You’re a Kraken, huh?!” I ask, as I wait for him to get up. Sucks that he can’t fight me.. “What the hell are ya’ on about?!” He shouts, as he finally gets up. “Well I’m a Megalodon Demihuman, I thought it would be a pretty interesting talking point!” I continue to call out to him. “Why would I ever want ta’ talk ta’ ya’ people?! Just shuttup and fuckin’ die!” He transforms and- Shit. I dash away from him, but he’s too fast, he’s going to- Massive metal orbs slam into his limbs and knock them away before he can catch me.

Demi - “I’ll take it from here, stand by in case he transforms back.”

“Good luck!” I shout, looking around- No, wait, that’s right, I can’t see her underwater.. She changes her color to green, and appears next to me. “Oh good, I can see you again.” I say, as she fires more uh- Bearings, right? Doesn’t matter. Octoface strikes Demi with his tentacles at blinding speed. I can see water be torn away from her body, she’s taking a ton of damage.. I’m nowhere near as strong, OR fast as this guy. Thanks to my martial arts, I can overpower just about anyone who thinks being stronger than your opponent will let you win. Well, usually it will actually, but if your opponent can use Martial Arts like me, well then them’s tough beans.. MAN~ I’m bored. I guess it’s pretty fun to watch two titanic monsters fight though. Demi gets hit by massive laser blasts, and in return strikes him with her Bearing Shots.. What a wonderful relationship for two giant monsters.

Demi’s body disperses freely into the water, like she just died, or something… Kraken-Boy looks around quickly, like he’s expecting something. His gaze lands on something right before he’s struck by another powerful bearing shot, straight to what I think is a forehead. It’s kind of hard to tell, since he’s an Octopus, or I guess Kraken.

Kassinkamble - “Hey, Kraken-guy, do octopuses have Foreheads?”

He quickly looks around, a little distracted by my telepathy message.

Kraken-guy - “What the- Alright, first, my name is Sirius-Maelstrom-Bask. WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?! As for your stupid question... I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!”

I think his rage is starting to break him..

Kassinkamble - “Thanks!”

Demitallis - “What the hell are you two talking about?!”

The two of them stop for a moment, and look at me.

Kassinkamble - “Sorry, I wanted to know if octopuses have foreheads.”

Demitallis - “Oh- Shit, I never thought about that.”

Sirius - “No, ya’ fuckin’ idiot! NOW DIE!”

Demi and I notice him prepare to strike- Demi just barely manages to catch his strikes, crushing the limbs the moment they’re caught. How long have they been fighting for? Anyways~ He’s forced to shrink again! My turn!

Demitallis - “Kass, I’m resting!”

I ignore her, and dart towards the kid, his arm completely healed. Either way, I strike him in the face again! “Man, you’ve got to be getting exhausted by now! Would you like to give up?” I ask, trying to coax him into a more peaceful resolution. Veyta and I love fighting, but I still know I shouldn’t instigate or prolong a fight like this. “I will tear your fins off one by one!” He shouts, running at me again! He’s still fast as hell, and tries for another strike at me. I easily sidestep him and- He strikes me in the cheek, tearing off a ton of my scales… “HA! I hit ya’! Fuck you and yer’ stupid martial arts!” I press my hand against my now scaleless cheek… He stares at me for a moment, surprised I’m not doing anything. “Uh.. You weren’t having trouble fightin’ me earlier- What’s wrong?!” Before he can do anything, I open my mouth and suck in the blood! The world slows down around me, and I grab his fist as he tries to take a strike at me.

“You have made a terrible mistake.” I say, as I stare him in the eyes, and begin to overpower him.
