I'm so stressed out because of my meat craving.

The sprite that I named Astrel by accident seemed like it wanted to comfort me. But this star can't make my wish for a chicken lunch breakfast come true.

Instead, I'm going to have to go find one!"Astrel! We're moving! I will have chicken again, if not chicken then steak! I will have meat, or so help me I'll wreck this whole forests shit up!" I felt the fires of determination burn within me. Sloth curse or not im getting out of this forest.

With item box, I can store snacks for a long time without it spoiling. So I can manage for a while. I have crafted a walking stick so I could manage travel easier. But it doesn't slow my stamina at all. I just hope to make it past the stream, before my body gives out.

Astrel was floating around making sure to stay close to me. As I kept my eyes opened for something that I could eat that was meat.

I kept using appraisal in my scan to find anything that was edible, or any herbs to synthesis into medicine and potions. Lucky the forest was full of different herbs that I managed to uproot a good amount for my eventual garden. But the appraisal says that the herbs I've gathered are super rare, even though I can find then all around me with little issue.

Well, he's pretty high level. But this won't really be much of a problem. Except I have a child with me, and I'm really tempted to eat Gale. So I may go nuts.

"Astrel find somewhere to hide. Im going to town on this guy," I said as I wiped away some drool.

Astrel didn't even float an inch away when Gale's antlers illuminated and the roots of the trees sprouted from the ground. Good guess this is nature manipulation, but this is way more intense then what I was expecting. This is the first time I've fought something with magic. Im was fast enough to dodge the roots whipping motion. And it's starting to really drain my stamina, just by running away. So I should use what im given.

As a root was about to slam itself on top of me. I jumped back, running up on top of the root towards Gale. Jumping down next to the enchanted deer, doing a low sweep kick. Knocking him down.

Quickly rising to kick them again while they were still down. I heard a crack from its back leg and It cried out in pain, but I had to shut it out. Focusing on kicking it down again and again till it didn't look like it could move.

my senses came back but my stomach flipped at the fact that I had to finish it off. I forcibly grabbed its antlers and made it look at me.

"You did your best. May your next life be kind," I kissed its forehead, snapping its neck fast and hard that a large snap was echoed

I felt my heart sting, my eyes watering, and I felt vomit comming up my throat.

I've never killed a real animal before, I never counted the spiders as such since I hate spiders anyway. But its sad that I had to kill this guy just so I could eat meat. But that's how nature had intended it to be, and know I have to gut it. Which I've never done before so this will be messy. But im not going to waste a single scrap of this guy.

Oh, I guess I got the skill when we made a contract. But his stats say that he can evolve now. But how does he do that? And how many times can he do it?

I feel like the pokemon evolution noise would perfectly suit what I was looking at. Astrel started glowing intensely and he started to get a more physical body from what I could see.
