《MHA: The Wolf of the End》Chapter 10

Gods I hate mornings..
The one thing I hate almost equal to the Gods is having to wake up early! Seriously, why do mortals have to wake up as Sol ascends into the sky?! Is it some type of weird ritual to the Gods?! I’ll never understand.
These were a few of the hate -filled thoughts that flowed through my mind as I walk to school.
‘Why walk?’ You may think. ‘Why not just hitch a ride with your Mother or Momo?’ You may also think. The answer is not as satisfying as you may come to believe…
My Mother said so… and here I am!
I’m pulled out of my thoughts by someone calling out to me.
“Hey, Felir-sa… I mean… Hey Felir!” A voice I recognized yelled from behind me.
I turn to see it was Izuku Midoriya waving while running towards me. I shake the sleepiness from my head as I smile and wave back to one of my new friends.
“Hey Izuku. How do you have so much energy so early?” I ask genuinely curious how he can shake the sleep from his body so easily.
“Well uh… I just get up? I mean, I don’t really do anything different? My mom says I’m a “Morning Person” so that could be it?…” he trails off, just as uncertain as I.
“Well you are blessed by the Norns then. As for me, I feel like they despise me!” I yell up toward the heavens, knowing that they could hear me… Well if they lived through Ragnarok that is.
“The Norns? What’s that?” He asks me in confusion. I guess the mortals of this era are ignorant of the old Gods huh. Serves those assholes right!
“The Norns are Goddesses of Fate in my home land… They could either be benevolent and bestow you with a good fate… Or they could be malevolent and fuck you up.”
“Oh! That’s interesting? By the way, you said “My home land”, does that mean you are from another country!?” He says, interest and wonder dancing in his eyes.
I smile at his levity and told him, “Well yeah, I’m from Norway!”
“Norway!!?” He blurts out, drawing the attention from surrounding students walking near us. His cheeks turn red as he stutters out “S-sorry about that, I was just surprised you’re from such a far away country… but your Japanese is so good!” He looks back at me, just a little less embarrassed.
“Well, that’s because my Mother is Japanese Izuku!” I laugh as I look forward and continue…
“She is actually the reason I’m here in the first place, she is a graduate of this school and now, apparently, is also a teacher as well.” I shake my head, hoping whoever gets her as a teacher will find solace that they at least don’t have to live with her.
“Really! That must mean she is a pretty strong hero?!” He gets excited once more.
“If you don’t mind me asking. What’s her ranking in Norway? And if your Dads also a Hero!.. Could you also tell me his?” He whispers out the last part, shy to ask me about my personal life.

“Sure! It’s not like it’s a secret or anything. My Mother is the number 2 Hero, known as the “The Chaos Hero, Violet Witch Frey”... While my Father is The number 1 Hero of Norway, “The North Wind Hero, Emerald Fang!” I say with my pride showing itself once more.
I look back down at Izuku, seeing if he knew them. But when I did, I saw a surprised face with eyes bigger than plates staring me down. In my confusion, I tilted my head and asked, “What’s wrong Izuku? Did you forget something at home?”
What I would come to understand in the next couple of minutes as we walk to UA is this…
Never talk about Hero's with Izuku!
[ At UA]
We arrived at the school after what seemed like an eternity… and I should know what that feels like!
As we enter the hallway to the different classrooms, I had a thought. What if none of the people I made a bond of friendship with are in the class I’m in! I looked down to Izuku and asked with urgency.
“Izuku! What class are you in!”
He jumps from surprise, my sudden outburst scaring him. But he quickly recovers and answers my gnawing fear.
“Well Felir, I’m in class 1-A! Which one are you in?”
My shoulders lose the tension I did not realize they had and calmly replied back.
“I’m also in 1-A! That’s good, at least we both know someone in the same class!” I smile, genuinely happy to know at least 1 of the 3 friends I have will be with me. I wish I knew what class Momo was in… Unfortunately, after the time where she saw my acceptance video into UA, we haven’t been able to have dates. She had to prepare for something or another, while I had to train more with my Parents to overcome my little problem.
We near the door at the end of the hall, a large door 3 heads taller than me faced us. It had a large 1-A painted on it so no one can miss it.
I went to open the door when I noticed my friend looking a bit nervous. Is it because of the same reason as I, meeting new people and making a good first expression is always nerve racking! It’s still a little hard for me to understand mortals and there cryptic language and hand gestures!
But I know it’s best not to dwell on it too much or it will fester in your heart! So with out further delay, I open the door. What greeted us was two guys having a verbal joust.
“Take your feet off the desk now!” The one I recognize as that rule follower with the glasses yells at a blonde spiky rogue looking boy with red eyes? Was he a Dark Elf half-breed or something?
“Huh?!” He smirks back to the glasses guy.
“It’s the first day and you’re already disrespecting this academy by scuffing the school property, you cretin!” He chops with his right arm in dominance. It seems like he does that when agitated I noted.

“Your kidding me right?! Did your old school put a stick up your ass?!”
Man, I’m gaining a fondness for this weird red eyed youth the more he talks! Serves the glasses guy right for picking a fight!
As I think this, I see Izuku beside me… or more like hiding behind me with an exasperated expression etched into his soft face. I wonder why?
Then I hear footsteps as I turn to see glasses walking towards us as he states “Good morning! I’m Tenya Iida-..”
Izuku then nervously blurts out, “Y-yeah! I know, my name is Izuku Midoriya! It’s super nice to meet you…”
Interjecting into the conversation to lift the unease from him, I say with a smile.
“And good morning to you as well Tenya, my name is Felir Wulfric.”
Iida looks into my eyes with no fear and replies back.
“Morning to you as well Wulfric-san…” He then turns to Midoriya.
“Midoriya… You knew there was more to the practical exam didn’t you?”
Izuku looks confused, but he continues…
“You must be very perceptive… And I completely mis judged you! I admit, as a student, you are far more superior to me!”
I was surprised! I never thought a goody goody would ever admit he was wrong, much less someone’s lesser?! My hard views on Tenya have changed, he is not like those arrogant gods that thought themselves so morally superior that they could do no wrong! He actually reflects on things when he is in the wrong.
I was wrong.
Well knowing that he is not a threat to my new pack mate, I look around to see if there is any more familiar faces. I found 2…
Momo was the first to get up and fast-walk over to me, giving me a smile as bright as the stars, and greets me.
“Felir-kun! I am happy to see that we are both in the same class! I knew you would be able to make it into the same one as me!”
“Thanks Momo! I’m just happy all my friends seem to be in the same class as me.” I smile back as I turn to see a pink fuzzy smile wave at me and say…
“Yo Felir! Seems we gonna be teaming up more in the future no!” Mina yells back in her funny slang.
“It seems so Mina! Well have to be a little CHAOTIC the next time!”
“Hahahaha!” We laugh at our stupid joke as I hear a peppy voice ring through the class.
“Hey I recognize that messed up hair!” We all turn to see a girl with brown hair and flushed cheeks smiling at Izuku...
Hey! Its the girl that caught him when I accidentally bumped him at the entrance of the school! She also made it huh? Well, the more the merrier I guess.
She was pumping her fist as she complimented Izuku… but said boy seemed to be bewitched! He can’t even look her in the eye?! What is this demonesses power over my young friend!
But all of a sudden, an aged voice whispers through the class…
“If you’re only here to make friends, then you can pack up your stuff now.”
We all looked to where the voice came from…
Is that a grub with a mans face? What in the nine realms?
“Welcome to UA’s Hero course..” He says, unenthused, the skin he is in splits from under his chin to reveal a hand with a juice container in it. He proceeds to slurp it…
Then like a butterfly breaking free from its self -made prison, he stands and slips off the yellow skin to reveal his full form…
A middle -aged man with a sleeping disorder… Is this really our teacher?
“It took 8 seconds before you all shut up, that’s not gonna work… Time is precious…” He says while lazily looking around.
“Rational students would understand that.”
He then stares at us all with dead eyes…
“Hello, I’m Shoto Aizawa… Your teacher…”
Everybody starts to freak out except a small few, surprised that this man.. butterfly… thing, is our teacher.
He pulls from his sack a piece of clothing…
“All right lets get to it, put these on and head outside.”
Wait… don’t we have a ceremony to go to? Do we have to wear these uniforms for it?
[Outside, outside of the gym]
“WHAT! A QUIRK ASSESSMENT TEST!” Everyone around me yells in surprise.
Interesting. Does this mean Ill be able to use my full power?!
I’m a little excited, not gonna lie!
“What about orientation!” Ochaco Uraraka says. I learned her name as we walked to the training field. She is a little air headed but a sweet lass none the less.
“We will miss it!” She finishes, making a cute concerned face.
Our teacher does not even look back while replying, “If you wanna make it to the big leagues, you can’t waste your time on pointless ceremonies. Here at UA, we are not tethered to traditions…”
He pauses for added effect. I wonder if all Japanese are this dramatic?
He looks over his shoulder while glaring with his dead eyes at us…
“That means I get to run MY class however I see fit.”
Man, our teacher seems like he is going to be a strict one! But atleast he isn’t my-
“Oh Shoto-chan! You’re so mean to say it’s only your class!”
My hair spikes out, fear running up and down my being… My nightmare coming to life right before my open eyes!
CURSE THE NORNS!!
I, and everyone, slowly turn to the voice of death… My fear given shape…
There standing not 5 steps away, walking slowly towards us like an unavoidable calamity… it’s none other than…
My Mother…
Oh, Gods.. we’re all dead…

However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama. 8 62RE: Choice
Misaka is a shy misunderstood 16-year-old boy in his first year of high school in Japan. His parents wanted him to be a girl, so they gave him a girl's name. He grew up being bullied and ostracized by his peers. In junior high, he developed a crush on a girl in another school who greeted him with a smile. Later, he found out the girl's name was Lucy and applied to the high school she was going to. One year later, he musters up the courage to confess his feelings for her only to find out that she was the wrong girl all along. Suddenly, a piano falls on top of him and he dies.He finds himself in front of one that calls himself God. He takes pity on Misaka and bestows him with the name Durrendal. He gives him another chance at life in another world and lets him pick a power of his choosing to take into the world. Story is going to be heavy reader interactive. Expect short frequent chapters. One chapter every few days. Two per week minimum. If I feel like it, more than that.Your choices WILL influence the story. It determines whether you get a game over (may discover new information), go around in circles never advancing the story, or advancing the story. Consequences of certain actions will shift Durrendal toward evil or good. The default personality of Durrendal may be ""pervy"" but depending on the actions that he takes it can be reversed. Think of the character as a game character. You are playing a game. It does not require that you make an account to vote. So screw around or advance the story? It's up to you.
